Inasmuch as we're all trying to be careful with our representations to the Canadian authorities, and having read through Canadatlast's argument, I think he/she has a valid point. Let's be objective about this, the money still legally belongs to you except that there is a timeline to accessing it. If one can use 25% that he isn't even authorized to have access to (since most people usually continue in employment until they're finally ready to jet out), one should be able to successfully lay claim to the isolated 75%.

The most it would cost is a confirmation of some sort from CIC concerning this PF matter. If the response comes out favourable, then we just might have unearthed an information goldmine to the benefit of many here who have been struggling with PoF. Let's not just dismiss this by the wave of the hand please. There is no information that is not power.

I couldn't have written this better.
NB: I can do without it but for crying out loud Nigeria is hard and not everyone is wealthy. I remember almost hugging the Boss at the Canadian Embassy when she said I could use it. It was like a lottery I won because I really needed it.
This wouldn't hurt me so much if I didn't confirm and if I didn't know of anyone who used it.
I'll do them an email today or tomorrow and take a screenshot of whatever response I get. I'll advice others who are free to visit their embassy and send emails(Please don't start stating % they should tell you that if necessary). If it's illegal to use the 100%, it's also illegal to use 25% because it's not available at time of application same reason we can't use equity on real estate.

IBTC actually told me they put it on request but now that IRCC knows what is obtainable I doubt the whole thing will work, Please can some one volunteer to be the scapegoat? (runs and hide grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin)

Fact! I obtained a letter from IBTC without any 25% stuff stated. It's the too knows that initiated that. I know over 5 persons that used all % PF successfully. I'll go back to our previous thread and pray I locate old posts where it was established PF was totally acceptable just like this ACCA saga. Only statement was even required.

What's my own... Lemme kuku write a letter informing IRCC that I have some money in my PF account but it's illegal to use it because it won't be available when I apply but 4 months after i resign so they can successfully stop Nigerians from using PF because it's only available 4months after they resign.

CIC simply said acceptable POF includes PF. They never stated any %. Sad this might have affected a lot of persons with little funds. I was truly surprised to see the 25% stuff.

Does your pension law state that you receive your full pension after 4 months of employment? Oya go and put everything o

CIC states the fund must be readily available When you apply and Not after 4 Months of resignation.

So from your write up, you shouldn't be using PF.

I see you have modified your post. I am sure by now they know its 25% this is accessible.

It's OK I'll do an email to confirm even though I don't intend using it. Was shocked seeing the 25% thing. Thanks to our busy body Nigerians. Canada didn't complain, we used our own hands to inform them it should be just 25%.

Emm @ Canadatlas; whilst I do not like to get involved in 'read up' or not debate, I think you should read up. The guideline is that 'funds that are accessible', only 25% is accessible according to the Nigerian pension act, something else may be obtainable in other countries. I think you need to flip through past pages so you do not make a serious mistake.

The boss that told you this is not going to pay another application fee for you or go through the heart ache of a rejection with you.

The attachment says it all. I know persons that used all and scaled through. I made enquiries at Lagos Canadian Embassy and was told I could use all. Unless our oversabi Nigerians have informed them. I don't intend to use it now anyway, just wondering who initiated the 25% saga.

Please by who?

The officers at the counter said I should inquire from their boss. Sat for a while and was directed to her office. I'm talking about the Canadian Embassy and Not a Consultant.

I've looked through some posts and see letters explaining 25% is available to them. The Canadian embassy were either not aware or never bothered about it and about 2 years ago, some persons just added their PF statement with some other funds and were granted PR. I can't tell if we have brought this to their notice through our various explanations of 25% available but I can state confidently that I made enquiries and was told to add the PF statement and provide other statement(s) for the remainder. To clear your doubts, you could send an email if you could use your RSA(without explaining only 25% is available to you) or walk into their embassy to find out.

25%. Use the search button for my information on how to go about it

Have they changed the rule? I was at the Canadian embassy some time ago to verify this and was told everything will count.

Someone gave an estimate several pages back. Read again. Asides knowing that ACCA is a faster route, I don't know much else as I personally do not need it to boost my crs score. I'm only rooting for those of you who may need it.
.

Alright thanks a lot.

When they say they read the whole thing and....

You could do well to answer if you know or just ignore for someone who knows to respond. I was with this thread some years ago and ignored the entire process for some reasons. You don't expect me to start reading Part 2 to all pages in 4. I've tried to calculate my Crs and compare with previous draws and see look out for ways to max my score.

You might want to ditch the NOUN PGD plan. A more reliable, flexible and faster route has been established - ACCA F1-F3 courses which gives you a diploma in Accounting and it is positively assessed by WES.

Read several pages back to find all the info you need to make an informed decision.

Please can I just love your post? I just read through the whole ACCA thing. I can't imagine how long I kept searching for programs to increase my Crs.
I have a Biochemistry Bachelors. Am I still qualified for this? I want to prepare in 3months and take the exams
Please what's the total cost for everything ACCA from start to finish

Hello FAM,
I was on this Canada parole 2 years ago but ignored it for some reasons. Now I'm back.

Turned 29 some days ago.
Took the Noun PGD form on the 16th of this month but unfortunately I couldn't join in this semester. I hope I'll be able to round off March 2019.
I'll start working on my IELTS immediately to max points for English test.
My spouse has IELTS SLRW 7.5,6,6,6.5.

1) Please is it possible I get my NOUN PGD certificate and credential evaluation before I turn 30 May next year if I resume September semester?

2) With max points for our English and my PGD, my crs score will stay at 450. Do you think this will fly for ITA?

3) I own a registered business I've been managing and running for over a year. What will be my most appropriate NOC?
Please what documents do I need to show for self employment?
