Representatives from the University of Manitoba were present at the EduCanada fair held in Lagos, just few weeks back, in February 2024.
The university is currently seeking to attract more international students especially from Nigeria, because of the increased development they enjoy from international workforces.

You can start your application to University of Manitoba if you have not started. English requirements are waived for Nigerian applicants.

Especially concerning their tuition
If you are asking the amount of tuition needed to study in 2024,
The university of Manitoba currently requires between CAD $5,000 to $21,0000 from Canadian citzens and permanent residents, while it will cost you CAD $19000 to CAD $24000 for tuition from international students.
The exact cost depends on your course of study. You can check the university website to confirm for the program you are applying to.

Japa to me is basically securing options, it doesn't mean a permanent stay.

A foreign passport to me is a tool to make life better, same way your university certificate is a tool. You were not in school forever, but just few years, then you'll hopefully, be set for life.

So go out there, see the world, create options for yourself, then come back and live in Nigeria if you want. That's what your politicians and celebs are doing.

And for the anti-japarians, your money and big boy is only useful in naija. If you earn 2M monthly, it's less than 1k euros. That's chicken change. You can't buy flight with it and your family for holidays. You need options in life. Japa is an option.
You have said it well @pansophist

Japa is an option and a good one at that.
Life is not meant to be lived being limited.

A legit work visa is not gotten on a platter of gold. Often than not, it is also not a rocket science, provided you have the know-how and the requirements.

You need the right information to know how to go about it.
If you are interested in Canada, I have shared information on other threads that can help you out.

Hello everyone,
Need help to understand this clearly.
Tuition fee: Should I input the total fees for only 12 months or the 20 months of the MSc program?
Room and board: only 12 months or 20 months of the MSc program?
See attachment.
Thanks.
Hi Gbenshe, what you need to input is your cost for the whole duration of the program, which is 20months.
I hope this clarifies your question.

Hey guys pls I need help. I'm currently applying to University of Manitoba and I'm being asked to upload statement of funds. What does this mean?
Proof of funds, generally, include tuition and living expenses.
You need these to apply for your canada study permit.

What the university requires from international students is to have financial support for their tuition. This might be what you quote as "statement of funds."
Ensure you read through the information they send you, and if need be, you can reply them, for further clarification.
