There's a difference in this case. A pharmacy degree is only evaluated by pebc. That's the rule. There's no rule like this for lawyers.
IFEAGO:
This may sound very good but not advisable to try it, I have a friend who evaluated his pharmacy degree with WES, and his ECA came out as "Four-year Bachelor of Science degree with a focus in pharmacy", while filling his form pre & post ITA he chose "Five or more years of professional university study in pharmacy". Due to the delay in his application, he ordered for GCMS and realised the reviewer recalculated his score and this reduced his points due to the content of his ECA. An evaluation with PEBC has now been completed pending when the application becomes rejected or refused. Please not the applicant's NOC has nothing to do with that of a pharmacist.

IRCC states clearly "enter the highest degree for which you had an educational credential assessment if you studied outside Canada" and went on to list law as a professional degree for which a license is required to practice. In this case, your highest degree is llb which you have gone on to evaluate. IRCC didn't say it must compare with a professional degree by Canadian standards. So yeah, doesn't matterwhat WES compares it to. It is still a professional degree.

BTW, I know some people who have gotten copr claiming points for masters with their WES bachelor's evaluation.

How? I'm at sea.

This is because the llb and bl certificates were evaluated together. A professional law degree is a professional law degree and even if WES evaluates llb as a 3 year bachelors, it is still a law degree for which points for masters can be claimed. My point is, if using WES, evaluate only your llb.

@pcachuks

A report from WES was posted to clear his doubts together with comments that the VOs used "two certificates" when taking their decision.

Hi, please see my comments embedded in your post.
Tojued:
Please some questions for peers and seniors.

How detailed did you go in your personal history? Did you add activities such as choir, church society (catholics will understand this) etc? Especially when it's a proper chorale group and not just a church choir or if you are very involved in the church society and have done a lot of Facebook posts on their activities. You could say you're a member of the church but in my opinion, I do not think this is necessary to state.

If you owned and operated registered businesses while employed, did you add them? Except you're claiming partner/ director (not operational) in the business. Because it'd raise brows if you claimed to be in full employment and still had time in your hands to run a business.

Also how does one explain two full years of unemployment? Will oyinbo understand that in Nigeria it's common to jobhunt for 2-3 years after NYSC? Lol even Oyinbos jobhunt. You could say you were actively job hunting... in this case, membership of the church or any other registered association could come fill in the blanks.

Then, are you guys truthful about aliases? When they ask have you ever been known by any other name or alias, is there anyone who has ever put their social media alias (for instance nairaland moniker grin grin grin) Hell no!

Peace y'all and wishing you a fruitful week ahead.

Still Ghana. Content of the text is kinda misleading. Track your application online and you'd see it's being transmitted to the Accra office.
Opotuniti:
Hi,

Great people,

I have some questions/concerns.
I submitted our Passports at VFS office in Lekki on Thursday, the acknowledgement mail I got was that of Lagos office & not Accra.

Is PR Visa now issued from Lagos office?
Who has recently had this same experience? Please see the email below;

Dear XXXX, Visa application,Tracking Id No. 20180607GHANPPTXXXXX – has been forwarded to the Canada Visa Office , Lagos on 07/06/2018. Honestly, you do not need to stamp a deed of gift. Not by a notary public, not by a commissioner for oaths
Pacowo:

Thank you for your response, pls for the commissioner of oaths, we were asked to provide the donors passport as it will be needed for stamping. Is that how it's done?

Hi, please see my comments below. Hope it helps!
newbie18:
Hello Everyone..
I have been a very silent follower(guest) of this thread and the information I've gotten has been so invaluable.

I missed out on the Tbill auction for yesterday, as bank didn't process it in time and I'll have to wait for the next window(2 weeks time) and for some reason, all my attempts at secondary market auction have proved futile with the bank.

Please can I go ahead and use the cash bank statement to submit my application (targeting this weekend), while waiting for the next auction.Yes you can

- would that lead to misrepresentation? No it won't or
- can I state in LOE that the cash will be turned to TBills but I couldn't wait as my ITA deadline was fast approaching? You do not have to explain. If you obtained the statement close to your date of submission, it is fine. In the event you're requested to provide an updated POF, you can easily send your updated bank statement which would show the evidence of tbill purchase, and the tbill certificate.

Will really appreciate your responses.

Honestly, I had created this account and sent the message before I saw the myriad of posts *facepalm*. Always wanted to use this moniker actually. This was absolutely unintentional.

[Hello MummyJaygirls

Thank you so much for this amazing piece of information. I actually had to fly out of silent mode for this and will sincerely appreciate your response to my questions:

1. Was it just the cipm certificate that was forwarded to Wes?

2. Would Wes still have to contact the institution for transcript?

Thank you for your anticipated response.
