Hello guys. Hapy Australia PR year to us all. Pls I need some clarifications on the VETASSES assessment. My occupation is part of the General occupations but I need to know how often the occupations are changed s that I d not apply for assessment and it may be removed while awaitin the Assessment feedback.
I read that the occupation list is usually updated 1st July to June 30th. Does this mean that the Valuer Occupation will be there till June 2018 which is the next update time. Guys bikonu help clear. E |

bellong: I will suggest you do the Canada Express entry. The only occupation that may likely be close to your experience is customer service manager which is likely a 489 visa.
There is no occupation for banking per se. The closest is the financial institution branch manager which is no longer on the list. I don't know what an immigration lawyer can do to help your case.
Either you do the customer service manager or if you have at least one year experience in estate management, go for the land valuer. i have 1 year experience but its between 2011 to 2012 which above 5 years. Thats the challenge. Pls wat do i do? Besides we no get payslip but were paid in cash. How do i also address that? Thanks as i await your feedback |

trastar: You haven't gotten a response because no one has the answer to this. I'm sure you already know u can't claim estate manager/valuer with your banking experience. What you should do is check the requirement for Valuer on the assessing body's website. see their eligibility requirements. Do they need you to have years of experience as a valuer to be eligible or does just a degree in estate management cut it? It's most likely easier to assess with your degree than assessing with your banking experience. Good luck. Thanks alot. Its getting clearer by the day and i know it will end in praise by Gods grace. Pl does anyone know a legit immigration lawyer in lagos i cn be referred to? From my findings i can assess my banking experience based on some terms and conditions which i need an immigration expert to assist with. I will be back if i need further help... u guys are the best |

jnyuwa02: First of all congrats over your admission and full scholarship. I have full scholarship from the University of Saskatchewan too. It's like they have much money to give out to international students.
All jokes aside, you do not need to worry about any gaps in your education as long as you explain what you were up to in those time gaps. I observed they are very keen on gaps, I had a gap of two months from when I returned back to Nigeria and did nothing, but just chilling and catching up on family life. The VAC staff would tolerate no gaps left blank and made me refill my form twice accounting for those gaps and what I was doing. That is one of the benefits of doing paperoute than online application. You get guidance, while online there is no guidance, you are left susceptible to your own whims and caprice.
A second masters instead of a PHD always brings concern about purpose of study to the VOs. But I am confident that as a fully funded prospective student, you can demonstrate to the VO your passion for studies and what made you choose a second masters instead of PHD. Do not try to feign an excuse, come out clean. Tell them why you have chosen the field of study, why in Canada and how what you are studying will be an investment in the future of our country. pls i sent you a mail. Kindly check. Thanks |
