Hello Gurus, just checked my IELTS result: Listening 8; Reading 8; Writing 7, Speaking 8. Do i need to redo because of the writing??

Hmmm bigfido & cochtrane!
Can we safely conclude that the reason some got undesired results was simply because "immigration" was stated.
I think we should conduct a poll on this forum

"Rude" is a relative word
I got 2 seemingly annoying answers here too. In my own lexicon, it is not rude, "no be me find trouble"
I can only appeal to the "Newbies" to help themselves by doing thorough research.
You can't just bump into a 100 paged thread and ask a question; read from the 1st page and most times, you will likely see if your question have been touched.
I learnt that the hard way after I got the insult of my life on a sister forum.
Nobody taught me to start reading from page 0 on the previous 800 paged thread and this.
At the end of it all, the ultimate price is landing in Canada. We should all care less about the tone of the response we get here.
If you are like some people here, you will just have to develop a thick skin and ignore certain comments, and always ask yourself wetin bring you come here.
No be to come dey flex muscle here say person insult you. Who cares!
Truth be told, some comment here will just make some people go and swallow rat poison.
Seniors and experienced alike, abeg no be all questions you must answer. We all started from somewhere

Algbenguze.
You are very on point on this.

The whole concept about remark was alien to me before now not until my wife had a 6.5 in reading and she was so sure she did better. She always scored 38-40 all through the practice test

But you know what! In all my research everyone keep saying getting upgrades in reading and listening is almost impossible.

Reason being the "almighty objectivity" of the answer keys. I kinda understand but...
Who says mistake can't be made?

Human and computers make mistakes alike
We have even made it easy for BC to tow that line by the remarking statistics on those sections

PLEASE let's stop discouraging ourselves especially when you are not sure of the individual performance and abilities

It's even worse when you are not allowed to verify the remark process

68000 is not beans o. Moving to Canada will make us have a rethink of 68000 equivalent in canadian dollar

15000 will not hurt if you are tripple sure, that is the you can afford it.
You think BC don't know what they are doing by the long timing of the remark process?

Something is definitely wrong, and if we don't fight this stereotyped mindset, lots of upcoming people will pay for this.

But Again, we all don't have a choice, we can't wait for 6-8weeks. We want to run away from this NIGERIA, including me

Walahi this BC guys are in business for long #conspiracy
Happy ielting!

cochtrane:

I looked at it critically. I think it means "We are nothing but pencils in the hand of the creator", lol grin. Okay na joke

I have a stranger here from Mali whom I showed.
He says it means something about ministry of foreign affairs, etc. I no too understand his French like that. Did you get this PCC from Algeria?

You can use this site to translate it. Just upload the image: http://www.i2ocr.com/free-online-arabic-ocr. It may work.

Cochtrane.
Lol. Thanks for the link though. The PCC is from Qatar

Madam lovetree.
426 is relatively "high"
Please dive in as soon as you can
You never can tell what the next draw brings

Kontagious:

I get your point, some of us are lucky to have armed robber CRS while some are not so lucky. Remember someone recently shared his experience how he got ITA with the 415 or 413 draw, you just cannot tell what the next draw will be. You don't want to miss that opportunity when it comes.

VERY CORRECT

Kontagious.
You are very on point on this.
I am only saying there is no point swimming in the pool while the hook will take months to source you; while you could dive in at a more appropriate time and be selected in no time when you have all in your arsenal.
No be the first fish wey dive in go get ITA first o

Lovetree.
Get his ECA sorted. WES evaluation can be unnecessarily delayed by his institution you know! I will strongly advice you not to rush in on this for a seamless entry.
It all boils down to if you can muscle in all the point required.
Your submission is not a problem idea though

WES is hanging. A dean of a faculty has refused to sign wifeys senate bound transcript document stating ASUU is on strike. Now SSANU and NASU has declared total war starting Monday. I have missed another ITA
When I eventually Land in Canada, THUNDER will fire anybody that says I should be proud of this hopeless Country

Hi JORN,
I can relate with you calculation or "mental gymnastic" as cochtrane will call it, but it doesn't work that way with IRCC. My wife had 3 CLB 10 (Listening Writing and Speaking)and just a CLB 8 in reading and still didn't hit the maximum score. So just gun for the ielts score as advised. I am sure you will be good.

Hello guys, Please kindly Clarify.
My spouse worked on a full time job with an international conglomerate between Feb 9 2015 and May 31 2017 (2years 3months) 45 hours a week (ALL STATED ON HER WORK EXPERIENCE CERTIFICATE) against the 30 hours a week recognized by IRCC.
30hr X 52 weeks/yr = 1560hours/yr
45hr X 52 weeks/yr = 2340hours/yr
2years 3months = 5720hours
5720hours/ 1560hours= 3.67years
Relative to 1560hours by IRCC,Will this count as 3 years?

Hello good people
What do you think?
I sold a couple of my properties and I was able to raise way above the POF requirement.
I am looking at ITA sometimes in December.
I honestly can't wait for the 6months bank thingy to apply.
Does it make sense to just invest this money in treasury bills (6month tenure) immediately and use the certificate for POF even if the investment is not up to 2months?
Your opinion counts
