LordReed:I never played it back in the day, the only reason I have it - it came bundled with my PS4. I might get back to it later. |
rapmike:I actually preferred the non-linear approach. Initially, I was wondering why they chose that approach, then I realised that the first half would have been rather quiet & would make some folks bored with the inevitable wait, it was a better choice. No matter how much a film annoys me, I'll wait till the end, because I'd never be able to give an accurate criticism of it. For me, they got the essence of Deadpool right down to a T. Deadpool breaks the 4th wall like it doesn't exist, he doesn't shut the hell up, he's a working joke machine (regardless of the quality of said jokes), he has the attention span of a hamster & he'll do whatever the hell he wants. Although, the film's one flaw is that we don't have as much action scenes or proper major action scenes as you'd expect, but remember this is an origin story & FOX actually reduced its budget, which actually played into Deadpool's style of humour, i.e his forgetfulness, which actually worked out for me. How many superhero films have a budget of $58 million? I'm impressed that Colossus actually looks like Colossus & not Steel (see the 90s Shaq film, Steel). And after the abysmal Deadpool in Wolverine Origins, I think Deadpool fans are just mega happy that we've gotten a more accurate representation of Deadpool, the fact that the film didn't suck, is just an added bonus. But, that's the subjective nature of opinion - one man's food is another's poison. I'm guessing you'd have difficulty with the film Memento, the King of non-linear films...

STUT:Yup. |
Just tried Super Star Wars...bloody hell! Those trophies are no joke-o. Games were hard back in the day. |
Kingsman: The Secret Service. |
SherlockWayne007:Mmm....Team Captain America, I'll always root for him, not sure about BvS, so I'll say Team Wonder Woman instead. |
SherlockWayne007:I'm a fan of the Marvel comics, in fact I used to religiously read X-Men. But, I'll still watch every superhero (and any other comic based) film, whether it's from an independent (eg Millarworld) publisher or a major (eg DC/Marvel) one. |
SherlockWayne007:Yup. |
moscobabs:And that's why I didn't suggest it for FP, so you can blame the OP. |
SherlockWayne007:Fair enough, I discovered I did after the fact. |
SherlockWayne007:Like I said I watched every spy film from last year except Bridge of Spies all at the cinema (minus Barely Lethal, that was in the comfort of my room). I enjoyed The Man from U.N.C.L.E, I was a fan of the tv series, it certainly was the most stylish spy film of 2015. In fact, I think I might do a rewatch of all the spy films of 2015 at some point (and maybe finally watch Bridge of Spies). |
Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation. Man, Spectre effed up, I believe it was the worst spy film of 2015. I think I watched every spy film of 2015, except Bridge of Spies*. Rebecca Ferguson killed it in MIRN, she held her own against Tom Cruise, sotay British media no gree person hear word. *Yup, I even watched Barely Lethal & American Ultra. BL had potential, which kinda got lost somewhere, but yup I still think Bond was at the bottom of the barrel. Although, we did have a good start with Kingsman: The Secret Service, shame Spectre spoiled it in the end. I still say Spy's theme song, Who Can You Trust by Ivy Levan, was the best spy theme song of 2015. |
NemySeries, wetin happen? We don enter Sunday afternoon... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2Cti12XBw4 |
Currently rewatching Ant-Man & the pre-title scene always cracks me up. Why? Hayley Atwell, the youngest person in the scene has been made up to look the oldest (maybe 2nd oldest, Howard Stark might be older than Peggy Carter), while Michael Douglas, the oldest person in the scene has been made up to look the youngest. Hollywood is one crazy place. |
Catching up on Lip Sync Battle. I know Tracee Ellis Ross is going to kill me. |
Elementary. |
Ichabod's WTF face during the Kindreds' first "meet cute". #Priceless |
Sleepy Hollow. Wow, the Thing saved her life for about 10s...The residents of Sleepy Hollow need to learn that they basically live on a hellmount. If the place is creepy, y'all are probably going to die in about 5 minutes or less. |
2 Broke Girls. |
johntaiwo123:Flashbacks to watching Young Adam with my mother, while we shared a hotel room. Damn you Ewan McGregor and your willingness to do full nudity... |
dimdim001:That's why your sprinting does not effect your stamina...na only leggedez benz the game get. |
LordReed:Nope. I just take my bargain hunting skills a bit too seriously. |
NemzySeries:Whatever floats your boat. |
NemzySeries:Just because you appear to wet the bed on a regular basis, doesn't mean I'll follow suit. |
I don't know why I'm even downloading it, but I'll blame dimdim001 for currently playing it & youmour for his epic love of its potential... |
NemzySeries:While you claim to provide access to said afterlife... |
**looks around nervously** eventually... **runs away** |
bankybobo11:No worries, just make sure you buy the one for your account (that is the country that you set up your PSN account). |
NemzySeries:**waits for Sunday morning** |
So wait a sec, he dropped out of school, ran away from home & then left the country?! |
Tufanja, I applaud you for your vast display of common sense, especially in the vast sea of nonsense that is some misguided/misinformed NLers. And to whoever said vasectomy was permanent. Dude, you are very very wrong, it's a reversible process. So please re-educate yourself. |
