joywendy:Na lie I talk? I'll never forget the first time I heard Take Banana when I came home for the holidays, my sister used to play it non-stop. I kept asking her what the song meant, she shrugged and kept dancing. Or when May D's Ile Ijo was everywhere, it still surprised me that people had been singing the song for at least six months, didn't know what it was on about, I listened to it once and seemed to know everything it was on about. |
Y'all are not even trying now...I could have sworn this has already been done before... londongal03:You must be new to this section, unless a supermod posts the thread immediately, threads over here do not follow the silly FTC fad. Usually, we're too busy being nerdy and reminiscing. Anywho, I played my Mortal Kombat on SNES. |
Oh and cupidhero, you can PM me your username, since I caved in and got VIP on the Sing! iOS app. |
I need a refresher course, can't remember how to do any of these. |
I'm guessing this thread is for dudes. Reminds me when one of my lecturers got replaced with a young woman, see the way guys started coming to class again...Seriously, we went from students barely in class or dudes sleeping to full wide awake guys in class. Apparently, Organic Chemistry became interesting again... |
Eva Green is indeed a fantastic actress. Her resting face is epic, geez even her doll's resting face was epic. https://www.wired.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/PennyDreadfulVanessaDoll.gif |
joywendy:Look, I myself have been banned by the bot, at one point it was even part of my signature. Oddly enough it was when on the logo quiz thread... |
onosprince:Don't be thanking your network provider, thank yourself for making FTC your ambition... |
Aww...bless 'em. |
elego1:What does this have to do with the gaming section? |
And on the beat is Davido, and I'm driving all the girls crazy yo, na na na na na na nay ni no, na na na na na na nay ni no Whatever Di'ja was saying in the tinini tanana hook in Yaro. Thanks to Google, tinini tanana, biko biko n'glolo, am I Rhianna? Baby na sokoto, me I'm kwash kwash, me I'm, me I'm kwash kwash. When I keep telling folks that Nigerian mainstream music falls into two categories - stupid catchy music & catchy stupid music - they think I'm joking... |
I used to have this problem before. Someone else had this issue and tried to help them, https://www.nairaland.com/2073705/ps3-not-playing-disks |
cupidhero:Not really, you can choose to join songs other people's songs for free (open calls), but the VIP songs need premium services. If you do get the premium service, it doesn't carry over between OSes (basically if you've got the VIP on your iOS app, it doesn't automatically carry over to your Android app). You can do free offers (eg watch a video ad etc) to get premium currency. You think you're bad, I've got the two apps you mentioned and their piano & guitar apps as well. They also give free songs, but those are more traditional old school songs and the ocassional operatic piece, although you do get some new free songs, where you actually sing with the actual artists. It's been a while since I've used auto rap, it's not really a karaoke app, more like a freestyle app. You can also let them make a rap for you, by talking to it, then it rearranges your words into a rap. |
Lip Sync Battle. |
@joywendy, done. |
Y'all like to talk too much, just post your screenshots and move on... Smule Sing! I'm spending way too much time on this app. I might as well just go to one of my local pubs and just do bloody karaoke...
|
Okay, last time y'all said he had "the most charming selfie"...now, this post doesn't exactly show how he's the cutest Nigerian rapper. Yes, the guy has lovely eyes, but he appears to enjoying using variations of the same 2 poses. |
A40:Never watched Silicon Valley or Entourage. Although, this is not the first time I've seen your description for Ballers, this appears to be the general consensus online. |
gj22:I've literally just spent the last hour watching their MusicSin & CinemaSins videos and T-Murda's (AKA Tracee Ellis Ross) rap videos - that woman's facial expressions kills me. Plus, everytime she decodes the rappers' lyrics is just priceless. |
kazzonline:I enjoyed it, but Eureka was the better show. |
Stitchers. I'm watching this based solely on Allison Scagliotti (Claudia Donovan from Warehouse 13) & Salli Richardson-Whitfield (Dr. Allison Blake from Eureka) being in it. The fact that it's a sci-fi show is an added bonus. I really miss Eureka & Warehouse 13. |
A40:It is good, it's a dramedy (drama & comedy), Dwayne Johnson gives a rather believable performance as an ex-NFLer turned financial manager. |
Sweet. I've never read the comics. |
Dragonking:One thing Supernatural has, that I'll always give it credit for, is it doesn't take itself seriously. Plus, it's willing to experiment. See the Ghostfacers episode, Fan Fiction (this is in S10), the episode where the Winchesters got transferred to our world (thanks to Gabriel, who was going by Loki then), the Groundhogs day episode (again Gabriel as Loki's fault), the dog episode and the fact that the Winchesters' story exists as actual fiction in the Supernatural universe... |
Dragonking:For The CW, it's their ratings darlings & also makes a killing in their targeted demographic (18-34 women), this show is watched more by women than men. Supernatural fandom is insane on social media, there's even a running gag on Tumblr, where a gif from Supernatural will randomly appear on a post because the Supernatural fandom has a gif for everything. |
Dragonking:Yup, I might call it quits soon. I could just stop watching it, although I did stop watching it at some point, but I started again when the Felicia Day episode happened - I ended up binge watching two seasons (6 & 7 - the episode was S07E20) and now that I know the bad news, I might not even continue. Oh! The last Supernatural episode I watched was S10E11, it's the one that had Day's character on it. Supernatural is experiencing the CSI & Smallville effect - it goes on forever, then one day you just stop watching it for no reason (or in the case of CSI, Grissom left, so I left). |
Dragonking:That reminds me, I need to complete Supernatural at some point. I think I stopped at S10E14. I really should stop watching new shows until I've finished the others... |
Dragonking:The main advantage of binge watching, you tend to remember more. Now, I've to wait a year like everyone else. Season 3 is going to be something. |
Dragonking:You seem to have forgotten she ran away from her intended and her home after she was mistreated by her husband to be and was informed to go back to him, since that's the way it would always be. She became a prostitute, since a poor Irish woman with only street smarts and no family to speak of, didn't exactly have the luxury of a decent life in London. A London, where people would scream and nobody would try to help. Plus, she had consumption, no one would even attempt to hire her for whatever would be considered a decent minimum wage job. If I remember correctly she also worked in the mines at some point, which wasn't exactly conducive for her health. Now, the original what-will-be-will-be attitude she had, is now all gone. She was resigned to the fact that she could never change her life. But now, all the quiet anger she had from her unjust life has now turned into hatred. Now, she is something else, she is a changed being with untold strength, she will not be a victim, she will not be a pawn, they'll all bow to her. |
dljbd1:True that. Reggie has gotta go. |
Ballers. |
It's funny seeing my original post, Spy Hunter never went past pre-production, the Halo & GoW films are still non-existent. The Sims, Splinter Cell & Soul Calibur are also AWOL. I'm not exactly sure what happened to the Castlevania film 'cause the internet is confusing me, but I'm assuming the film still doesn't exist. Apparently, the Metal Gear Solid film was also in development hell, but in 2012 it was put back in production with Avi Arad (ex CCO of Marvel Entertainment & founder of Marvel Studios) as producer. In March 2015, Jay Basu was announced as the writer. Let's see if this actually happens. |
