Yea. Finished the main story line ages ago which only accounts for 50% completion.

Once I finished the storyline and started Travis' mum mission, I just got the hell outta dodge. The one game I wished I finished was the Tomb Raider reboot - I was in between houses and my stuff was in storage, so I ended up not playing the game in 2 months, by the time I came back to it, I was in the middle of a forest with a bow and arrow, then realised I couldn't remember how to play it again. I'll have to start it from scratch at some point.

AdeLaNa1:
Well i meant Forgotten Sands! And yh, Watch Dogs plot was boring....to me sha

Forgotten Sands was hella easy., still the onlygames I've ever platted and I wasn't even trying to do that. Watch Dogs, I kinda forgot about it after all the wahala I went to get it. Plus, some a-holes used to practically live near the safe house, so someone was always hacking my guy once he went there. I'd fast travel to the safe house and some dude would start hacking me. I start the game in the safe house, someone would start hacking me. Every. Freaking. Time! I just carry myself go.

Animals can't take selfies. Contrary to the illiterate definition of calling all potrait pictures selfies, it is only pictures taken by ones self that can rightly be called selfie

The first is not a selfie, it looks more of a photobomb. The second is certainly a selfie, infact the owner of the camera actually went through a tug of war with Wikimedia Commons, due to the fact that the animal pressed the button and didn't really have any rights, so they used the images quite freely without any request from the owner of the camera. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monkey_selfie . The rest might be questionable, but the elephant and the human one are certainly selfies.

Yes, some of the other pics some NLers added are not selfies, but are simply pictures or portraits if we really wanted to be precise

You are jasiied !!

Na lie I talk?

This is also Cool I think

Bruno Mars getting his Uptown Funk...

superbloke:
It was more of a fun movie. Although I felt like they made Scott retrieve that item from avengers Base just so they could include the cameo appearance. There was no point. But generally speaking, good movie.
Speculations say that the events of civil war had already started during this period. This explains the end of the movie plus the second end credits scene.

Yup, it certainly fits with Civil War. I know the next season of MAoS will definitely cover the beginnings of this, thanks to the previous season's Inhumans arc. Plus, the fact that Hydra isn't truly dead and Ward has his own wahala...the possibilities! I wonder if Netflix's Jessica Jones will also cover this? Her being a former superhero and all, probably with SHIELD, since it appears they were in charge of all the superhero ish. This shared cinematic universe really helps in expending a story arc.

Simplyunique:
afternoon ma'am.... pls wats ur take on dis movie. want2 download it

Ma'am? Now, I feel ancient...the film was okay, it could have been better, but Viola Davis reminded us that she's still a talented actress. Jennifer Lopez actually didn't suck. Saw the twist a mile away.

GTA 5; 82% percent complete as at this morning. Bracing up for one of the last major activity that counts towards 100% completion - 8 Knife flights!

**slow clap**

For anybody who is interested, contact his sholz10 account. At some point, the guy will learn to follow simple instruction, instead of making multiple accounts. **sighs** Some NLers appear to thrive on wahala...

So, let's say Retail price are c£329 pending the demand, mhen, then you need to garner more hours then. or is there a future pre-order?

Tested it yet for any bug?

It's already out (15th as in, the Wednesday that just passed). I'll just continue waiting until the 1TB PS4 gets below £250...unless the bundle offer is really good. If we started testing a Sony console at my place of work, I'd think that would be considered working with the enemy...

Hasn't anybody else watched it yet? I know my sister watched it today at a cinema in Lagos (she loved it BTW)...What are y'all waiting for?

davide470:
1TB PS4!!.. Coooool..

What's the range for a good deal over there?

The 1TB PS4 only got released on the 15th, and it retails at £349, but there were some decent deals on release day, the best being a limited offer that only ran for that day from Amazon's Prime Day sale. It was £329 with Destiny, 3 months PS+, PS TV & a digital copy of Ultra Street Fighter. Was tempted...here's hoping that the retailers go crazy during the Christmas season or New Year's.

davide470:
Lol. Same Ol, Same Ol..

Any new 4D game for the boys?

I'm still patiently waiting for a good bundle deal for the 1TB PS4, so I'll finally be able to play The Witcher 3. We're all patiently waiting for Uncharted 4...

davide470:
Hey Mod, what's good. Been a while

I dey-o, been working and apparently still living. You?

The Age of Adaline.

U marry a smart woman, she will over smart you..
U marry a woman because she's good in bd,you can never satisfy her.

Actually, she would outsmart you...

I'll also add The Duff to the growing list.

Lila & Eve.

I love how Showtime poster and the NL poster didn't say who issued the nomination, it's the Emmys.
Anywho, the show really got me in the opening credits with its amazing main title theme.

Just finished Dark Matter, that show keeps getting better.
About to watch Killjoys.

Chimezie250:
waiting for it, 28/7/2015 the official release date

Well, it has already leaked online. Man, that was one dark animated film. A whole lotta dying...

Thanks for staying spoiler free. Last question, is it better than Age of Ultron?

Nope. AoU had me at the first scene. But, A-M is on a different speed than most of the MCU films, it takes it's time to get there. It's still an enjoyable popcorn film.

Y'all really like to repeat yourselves. I'm too tired to look for the previous thread, it probably had the exact picture as the OP's...
EDIT (2 mins later): Who was I kidding, of course the Sherlock Holmes in me found the previous thread. And as I predicted, it was the same exact picture. It was in the general section and from the comments and views it was also on FP. https://www.nairaland.com/2139812/played-remeberd

Thanks for the review. I'm just relieved to hear it's not total crap. Of all the films they had lined up, this one had to most potential to suck, and if it didn't things can only get better.
Some questions though.....how was the villain? Was he as terrible as Mandarin/Whiplash/Malekith or as good as Winter Soldier/Loki?
Does Antman become Giantman in it? Is it funnier than Gotg? What makes you think we'll get a sequel?

No to Giantman. It's not funnier than GotG, but it does have funny moments. The villain wasn't as good as Loki, you could definitely say he was kinda as whiny as Loki & also shares Loki's need for approval from his father/mentor. This is MCU everybody always returns (except if you're Quicksilver)... Plus, I'm trying to keep this spoiler-free.

EDIT: Apparently, Evangaline Lilly's character is called Hope van Dyne, not Hope Pym. Actually, this makes sense since she's estranged from her father, so it makes sense that she would have taken her mother's maiden name at some point.

EDIT 2: The film is also slow to start, don't know why I forgot to say that, maybe I got it wrapped up with dramatic...

So, yup there were two after credits. A mid credit scene that hinted on the continuation/creation of a character. The second is about the discovery of another character.

Anywho, it wasn't bad, you can definitely feel Edgar Wright's (the former director) touch and it felt a bit more dramatic than the other MCU films. Plus, it does have its comedic moments especially when Michael Peña's character gives his succinct tips. The third act's fight scenes were brilliant - the combo of shrinking and growing was quite entertaining with some tongue in cheek moments - and absurd - who the hell shoots those with a gun, while they're in that?! We will blame it on the excuse we were given earlier...

Plus, the opening scene had one slightly weird moment - they used CGI to make an old person look younger and practical effects to age a young person older. Oh and someone makes a rather awesome cameo...

All in all, it wasn't a train wreck, maybe not as crowd pleasing as GotG, or as in your face as Iron Man, but still better than Thor*. We've gotten a bit used to Marvel giving us action and a punchline every 3.5s, but sometimes a change of pace is good. Plus, we get another strong female character in Evangaline Lilly's Hope Pym, who I hope gets more to do in the future. Oh and please...girl we need to talk about that hair, I'm not the most fashionably conscious woman, but that hair doesn't really suit your face...

*Although, some folks will probably consider A-M as the weakest MCU film. I'm not going to lie, there were times I kinda thought the film was the worst in the MCU. I felt like I was almost watching another film (maybe it's the Edgar Wright effect). I liked Paul Rudd in this and A-M could pull a Captain America 2 with his sequel/next appearance and become a hot MCU property.

**patiently waits at the cinema for the adverts to start for** Ant-Man.

Five highlights from the Orphan Black panel at this year's San Diego Comic Con.

AikayDaWrapper:
Awesome show. Thought provoking. Just gotta love Allison. That money dance she and Donnie did half na ked in season 3

I might as well quote myself.

cao:
Too tired and about to go to bed, don't know why I carried myself here, but I'll leave you with the weirdest thing I've seen in Orphan Black...
Context: Alison and Donnie Hendrix have just become rather successful drug dealers, so they celebrate like any normal married couple - by twerking...Still the weirdest s*** I've seen on Orphan Black. Even though, there was a dude in season 1 with a tail and said tail was later cut off, with the cutter [of said tail] dancing with said tail in a club with dub step music playing on the background.

You're welcome.

So we've got CloneClub* on NL...Anywho, Tatiana Maslany got nominated for an Emmy (Lead Actress in Drama). Final-freaking-ly!

*I'm surprised the thread was not named after this.

Empire only got a single nomination for the Emmys - Taraji P. Henson for best lead actress (Drama).
