dimdim001: Y'all claiming to play COD & BF online, drop ur ID's lets chk & confirm dat u indeed play/played the MP, I've encountered many pple dat mke mouth like dis and dey havnt played squat, som dnt even play online at all, bt na dem go argue pass...and imagine som1 comparing Ghost to BF4, even COD freaks knw Ghost is d worst COD ever...To me, Battlefield MP is d best shooter out dere...if u guys wanna continue dis argument, den prove uve played both by dropping ur IDs, otherwise u can pls try to spare us d headache of reading all d arguement For me Ghosts was the first COD I played, but according to the folks that played it before me - it's the worst because it was seen as a repetition of Modern Warfare (or was it Black Ops, shrugs), but the one thing they all said it had going for it was Extinction. Now, I'm not even going to call myself a pro, as some of y'all may have seen my PSN motto - "I suck at aiming", while others will remember my dislike of FPS until I tested one and actually enjoyed it. And Advanced Warfare was one brilliant game - it's Campaign mode is the buisness, I've dabbled in its MP - still suck at it, but I do have an uncanning luck at Kingslaying, hearing a guy yelling how the frak did I shoot him in the face*, while I'm dead last and the actual literal walking target is always priceless. *we literally run into each other and then pop goes his head. |

BoboYekini: You geeky babes better not be bespectacled beanpoles or anything like that. You better be some Lara Croft curvy and schit. I've been bespectacled since 2000/2001 & haven't ever seen a beanpole. But, you're apparently rocking the body of a Greek god, with the deepest baritone known to man & the wit & charm that would rival Dionysus? MissTechy: It hasn't be easy tho, sigh. sCross: I believe they don't do nothing. They help to test and make future games better.
Currently there's a sync btw games and virtual reality, people like game testers come in handy to make these products a reality.
I won't be surprised if KSI gets called in to test a future version of a game.
People are under rating school cos the bulk of what it has done in the 21st century (esp in naija) is to raise zombies- it was good in the industrial age but not in the info age(now) Yes, games testing can be one of the most satisfying jobs, but can also be the most frustrating - unsociable hours, terrible pay (especially when you're not staff). It's still one of the best ways to get into the industry. It's not just you seating down there playing games*, you've to be observant and also be able to explain yourself properly, also being able to think outside the box helps. Nowadays, the big developers want people with at least 3 years experience, but I've seen some terrible bug reports from these people - seriously like primary school bad. It's funny how some developers hate testers, even though they really do need them. They forget that they can't see any fault with their baby 'cause they're too close to it. *unless your position is to get through the game as quickly as possible, then you're just playing games. |

coogar: nah.... it's luck and smart trading. you play like 10-20 games, amass coins and buy packs. in the pack, you could find robben. you hold him for few days and sell. you probably bought the pack for 7.5k and robben is about 1 million. so you sell him when his price go up. that's extra 1 million for you to go & get your desired player. I don't play FUT, I just do offline Player Career or Manager Mode? |
Gaming › Re: FIFA 15 Nigeria Fan Thread by cao(mod): 12:44pm On Apr 03, 2015 |
coogar: it's not extra money.... its virtual money accrued by the hundreds of games i have played. the money either go into packs - which is like a lottery or it goes directly into getting the desired player. But you do have to play a lot & EAS FC must be connected at all times, since it does not retroactively. I'm sure most folks are not as patient. Finally got EAS FC working, I forgot the cardinal rule of technology - turning it off and on. I terminated the title and relaunched it...TADA. |

Gaming › Re: FIFA 15 Nigeria Fan Thread by cao(mod): 12:35pm On Apr 03, 2015 |
coogar: hehe..... hopefully, it would be sorted out in FIFA16. 15 is now majorly screwed. all the big players i bought now cost 1/3 of the original price. it's so annoying. Pele, I cannot do virtual trading cards. Nope. Why bother, when I could do manager mode or pro? Why pay extra money? |
Gaming › Re: FIFA 15 Nigeria Fan Thread by cao(mod): 12:29pm On Apr 03, 2015 |
coogar: yup! they were doing a price change. unfortunately, this is how it's going to be until fifa16. they would always have to be putting prices every now & then. The thing is I only use EAS FC to level up (via Player Career Mode), but the thing no gree since around 7pm. Plus, the silly thing started giving my pro random ratings, ended one match on 9.8, checked Squad Ranking - it said 8.1. Previous match, I got 6.8, it said 9.5. Maybe it's time for me to play my other games... |

It appears EAS FC is still down, they had a scheduled maintenance session yesterday that was supposed to last for 3 hours....well it appears someone forgot to tell them to finish. The schedule was supposed to affect only FIFA 15, but my FIFA 14 appears to have forgotten the memo. Is it back up for you FIFA 15 folks? |
