Health › Itchy Ear? You Might Just Have A Cricket In It... by cao(op): 3:25pm On Oct 07, 2014
Was minding my own buisness, when I came across this. I thought you would all like to share in my discomfort.

NB: If you are of a nervous disposition, don't look at the attached pics or watch the video on the link...

The man, who remains unidentified but is believed to be from India, arrived at the doctor's complaining that his ear was itchy - only to discover that a three-inch insect burying in his ear canal was the source of his discomfort.
A doctor then had to carefully remove the twitching creepy-crawly, using tiny tweezers to pinch the bug and pull it out of the ear. A video taken of the incredible procedure was posted online.

Pretty sweet bikes, but I do have one question. Are Kenny G & Blak Tye preparing for a road trip and/or the Zombie Apocalypse?

I have a nasty habit of not finishing some games due to life. PoP:TFS is the easiest game to get the platinum trophy, you have to try at all. Chei! LA Noire totally forgot about that. I still have it, but I don't have any intention of selling it.

EDIT: When I say finish, I mean finishing the main story not 100% completion. The only game I wanted to complete was God of War: Ascension when I realised I was only two trophies away. But, it happened in Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands instead, where I noticed I had gotten most of them without trying.

Just finished watching Bang Bang! about 30 minutes ago at the cinema. Since it's a remake of Knight & Day, they lifted some dialogue from it, but I'll say the Bollywood version is prettier and Roshan was paying proper fan service with the topless scenes (not complaining). Of course, the Indians don't play with their OTT action scenes.

One of these days, I'll have to play with you guys. Problem is I don't play the usual multiplayers, and I've ignored the sport and beat em up games for so long, that I'll definitely suck. So if you have no issue with me making you look good, then let's play.

Apparently there was an extra scene in Book 3. I'll just copy and paste the comment.

There is a bonus scene/ extended ending to Book 3 below. It seems like it is exclusive to the nick website, so for those unable to access it:

Shortly after Jinora's ceremony Korra prepares to board a ship heading home to the Southern Water Tribe to recover from her injuries. She declines offers of company, saying she needs some time alone. We then see sleeping in her bed at the South Pole when she suddenly bolts upright after being awoken by a nightmare of Zaheer suffocating her.

Horayce: Does it have anything to do with society? Even amongst female gamers, those who shell out 500quid to buy a console are very very rare. There may be as many female handheld (phone, tablet) gamers as there are male gamers, but i won't consider those core gamers..And hear, the person who introduced me to gaming was a girl (my big cousin). But she hardly ever plays games nowadays. Who knows, it may have been societal conditioning as you allude, or simply down to women not having as big a competitive streak in them as men( can we not be P.C?)
I'm guessing you've not been paying attention to the gaming industry lately. Fanboys have been going ape online about "girl gamers". The most recent being the #GamerGate controversy. Or the stupid things some guys say when they find out they're playing online multiplayer games (eg CoD) with a girl (eg the classic "go make me a sandwich" and less user friendly phrases). Or the assumption that we need to pass a certain test to be considered a true gamer. Google "Anita Sarkeesian" and read about the sustained harassment she has been enjoying from fanboys, since she decided to run a Kickstarter campaign for her "Tropes vs Women in Video Games" series.

At the end of the day, society plays a big part in it. My ex-boyfriend wasn't a gamer and nobody questioned it. Whenever I say I am, the questions & comments flow like River Niger, ranging from reasonable valid ones to downright misogynistic ones.
Family › Re: Any Woman That Can't Cook Is Highly Irresponsible. by cao(f): 12:20am On Oct 02, 2014
carefreewannabe: Any man who doesn't know how to cook is dvmb because cooking is easy.

And how can you NOT know how to nurture YOURSELF and depend on others for this to happen?
BananaBender: @op: I agree with you.

Any man that cannot cook is also very irresponsible and not fit to be a man.

It is part of the responsibility of a man to learn how to cook as he is growing up either from his mother or his father. So when a man fails to acquire the cooking skills as he is growing up, he has failed in his responsibility and therefore not responsible because he might end up producing children that are also irresponsible.

I get angry when with the statement " Women should teach their husbands that don't know how to cook". That is ridiculous! If a man don't know how to prepare a particular food the woman likes very much, that's a different case but to say he don't know how to cook... he is worth nothing, because he has wasted over 10 to 15 years to learn part of his responsibility...

A man that can't cook clearly shows, he never assisted his father in the kitchen or his father don't know how to cook. That man shouldn't be taken seriously because he will bring up children that are irresponsible as well.
Boom goes the dynamite.

killzone: am not insulting u and I do knw the meaning of a gamer but hearing of our naija babes playing games. Some of them consider it childish so am just complimeting u
Didn't take it as an offence, I get that quite a lot.

LordReed: It's not really a surprise to see female gamers but the types of games that are attractive to females don't seem to be the blood and gore types. My sisters were Super Mario World champs back in the day and now they still love The Sims series and other games like racing. We played MK4 but that was mainly due to my influence, left to them they'd stick with Mario Kart or Crash Bandicoot. You on the other hand love the blood and gore stuff, in my experience that is amazing.
I was the Queen of Street Fighter back in the day, I've been falling back on my beat-up games lately - need to sort that out.

I liked it, it's about a man whose immortal (everytime he dies, he was this nasty habit of being "reborn" in water), he's a medical examiner with an amazing case of Sherlock (ie he's a master of deduction), thanks to the fact he's been alive for 2 centuries. It's basically a police procedural - they solve a crime every week - with the background story of Henry trying to find out why he can't stay dead. Plus, he might not be the only immortal out there.

killzone: a girl that likes god of war games and deadpool. You should be one of a kind
Not really, basically society has pigeon-holed the word 'gamer' as a young male who plays video games, instead of its original meaning - a person who plays games. No one actively got me into video games, I simply saw it as a brilliant way to enjoy my time. Plus, being born during the golden age of technology also helped, from the floppy disk to PS3 via gameboy, SNES, Sega Gen/Mega & Playstation. I even had the weird joystick one you could connect to the TV.

In fact, I just remembered that the first person I knew with a gaming console (NES) was a girl.

Guykhena: You loved his voice ? Let me take it you're kidding grin

Ok check this out..
Normal Voice - "Who Are You"
Bale's Batman Voice-"Gru Gra Groo" cheesy.

"The Dark Knight" was my favourite, just bcus of Heath Ledger's Joker..
LWKMD. I'm tempted to record that.

Guykhena: The Flash,Constantine pilot episodes were tight and do.pe(leaked episodes smiley ) . DC/warner bros is taking their Tv Universe to an whole other level, still looing forward to "Izombie".
Agent Carter is definitely gonna be awesome ,at least it gets to keep AOS fans occupied during the mid-season break.

LoL grin any theory to back up your claim?
I watched both, although I watched the original pilot of Constantine (Lucy Griffiths, the woman that played Liv, has been dropped, so they had to reshoot a few scenes). I liked it, although Matt Ryan's accent seems to be rather odd. According to the fanboys, Constantine is English with a Liverpudlian accent, but the actor is Welsh. He seems to have adopted an odd mix of Welsh & Mancunian (that's Manchester) accent. Oh, if the voice sounds familiar to you, it's because he's also the voice of Edward Kenway in Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.

Anywho, I'll definitely be watching Constantine & The Flash.
