Flawlessangel: ok, i hear u, or maybe its just superman u hate....i read a post of u listing man of steel as one of ur worst movies ever....i was shocked...and then u also mentioned u dnt like small ville...so dats why i thought u hated dc.Err...dude I believe that was a quote from someone else, I did feel sorry for the residents of Smallville & Metropolis in MoS, since Superman & co destroyed a large portion of both cities. Those tax payers would be pissed. Smallville - I actually used to watch it, but it simply ran too long. |
Fweshdude: @ your singnature; are you a kindof like G.0.W fan??Yup. |
adaobi123: GotG ? And thank youGuardians of the Galaxy. |
adaobi123: Plus does anyone know a good superhero movie to watch ? I'm talking on the levels of the batman trilogy.I would highly recommend both Captain America films - I still believe they are the best standalone films from the Avengers universe. GotG might actually be my favourite MCU film. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JvHyk2ESFCI |
Guykhena: CancelledFOX & sci-fi: Firefly, Almost Human, Dark Angel, The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Tru Calling, Dollhouse, Futurama, Terra Nova, Alcatraz (never watched the last two, I knew they would be cancelled)... I'm honestly surprised Fringe lasted as long as it did. Oh I love crime/detective shows, but I stopped watching CSI after Grissom left & they cancelled all the spin-offs, I don't actively follow NCIS (but I won't change the channel if it comes on). I didn't know the pilots had been leaked, off to watch those. |
I liked Forever (I'm a sucker for mild mannered immortals, that's why I loved New Amsterdam, so I'm expecting it to be cancelled). Mysteries of Laura - only watching for Debra Messing, but I actually kinda liked it, it could have been better though. Oh, and Laz Alonso is always nice eye candy. I avoid CSI & NCIS & their spin-offs, not because they're bad, I just stopped watching them. I'm waiting to see how Agent Carter, The Flash & Constantine work out. Galavant is my wildcard - weird fairy tale musical with Timothy Omundson (that's Lassiter in Psych) as the bad guy. If FOX are doing any new sci-fi shows, I'll be avoiding them - since I'll like them & they will surely get cancelled. |
profneyo: I'm guessing you enjoy watching scandals and private practice. LolI've never watched Scandal. I used to religiously watch Private Practice. I used to watch Grey's Anatomy during the early days, but abeg that show drama too much, I no go die for hypertension. I avoid Shonda Rhimes like the plague - that woman wan kill person real quick with her wahala. |

To quote the Shoop Shoop song Does he love me I want to know |
American television wan kill person. How many shows have I stopped watching? Not because they are bad - I just watch too many. Then I've made the mistake of watching new ones. I haven't even attempted to look at any new cable ones. There are shows I simply don't watch because I'll be addicted to them (I now avoid Shonda Rhimes shows solely on that principle - plus the woman likes drama too much). When will this cycle end? NB: This is what happens when I look at my watchlist on TV Muse, chei! When October comes...Oh, who send me... |
shadrach77: This is no news. The question is not why it bends but why it shouldn't bend. If you apply force on anything made with aluminium or even iron, of course there is the likelyhood of it bending. Why apply force in the first instance? Was it created to withstand that kind of force? Don't mind all these Iphone hatersWhen you've paid an obscene amount of money on a product, you expect high standards. You forget the amount of force and pressure your average mobile phone will withstand. How many of you put your phone in your pocket? Now dudes might go on about how roomy their pockets are, but what about the pockets of your skinny jeans? And as any woman will tell you, the pockets on our jeans are just there to remind you not to put anything in them AKA the Michelin Man Effect. Anywho, the amount of force exerted from your thighs to your pocket can be an interesting thing. Even if you use a handbag, there's still activity going on in there. If you're like me, where my bed is my home AND workspace, then your phone will enjoy some additional punishment. Geez, I actually woke up on my phone today. Plus, I'm sure we've all enjoyed the endless wonder of taking a long phonecall without the hands-free or speakers. How many times have you used your hands and/or shoulders (AKA the poor man's hands-free)? All these little things (or in the case of me sleeping on my phone - big things) add to the cumulative force applied to your phone and we (the consumer) expect our phone to have long life...as long as we don't actively throw it down a volcano or a flight of stairs... Plus, some of y'all have a vice-like grip on things. The way some folks hold their controllers, remotes and phones, you'd think they never want to let it go out of fear that it would run away, the instant they loosen their grip. |
Guykhena: Really sad,and Coulson have that 'Replacement' eyes on for Fitz,,Dude would need a Regina (i.e the Evil Queen in Once Upon a Time) level of redemption....Although, anything is possible in telly, as we've seen with Spike (from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the first and ultimate Joss Whedon show)...seriously look at Helena (from Orphan Black), we all went from "die you crazy heifer" to "I just want to hug you and feed you" all in the space of a single season. |
adaobi123: Has anyone watched gotham ? Looks good.Hello there my namesake. We did talk about it a few posts ago. |
Guykhena: Good to see 'Agent Carter' given a small screen time..I'm not going to lie, I had tears in my eyes. Then, when I fully realised the damage - I almost lost it. It is such a big thing to lose, especially since that's what makes him HIM. Then when the penny drops that the other component is not there - it just takes a new level of hurt. Man, Ward, I really hate you right now. |
When product testing is not introduced in the early stages. |
Flawlessangel: thought u hated dc movies and series?I said I don't read DC comics, but I watch the heck out of their live-action series and movies. Plus, I'm a huge fan of their animated series and films, especially the 90s-early 00s DCAU and their DCUAOM. EDIT: DCAU - DC Animated Universe, this started with the '92 Batman: The Animated Series and ended with the Justice League/Justice League Unlimited series. It also included the animated films & comics that came from them. Also known as the Diniverse (named after writer Paul Dini) or Timmverse (named after producer Bruce Timm). Some proper fan-fave characters were created during this period (eg Harley Quinn & Renee Montoya), it's also responsible for Freeze's backstory (to be precise, the most used backstory involving his wife, Nora). DCUAOM - DC Universe Animated Original Movies, not to be confused with DCAU, these are more adult friendly and seem to be more based on comic book stories - especially limited series. Like I said I really take their animated stuff seriously. |
I'm really hate Ward right now, he broke Fitz, he really has been broken. |
After reading this, it seems that the writer made their virginity the whole part of their personality/identity. There is more to them than their sex life (or lack of one). I can't believe I just paraphrased Cosima (Orphan Black). |
Give me a moment, while I laugh about the fact that this thread exists on NL. Why did heck am I perusing the Romance section today? Oh well, carry on... ![]() |
Talk to her. Open your mouth and communicate, chei! OP wan kill person. |
cupidhero: can't find a thread for master race...any PC gamer in da house?Err...why was I quoted/mentioned? |
12 has nothing to do with virginity. Plus, pregnancy is a two way street. Folks really need to understand how the hymen works. It's not always a guaranteed indicator of virginity, I will not bore you with the details. Go to Wikipedia for that - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hymen. Plus, if we are going to get clinical, was the woman mentioned in 9 truly aroused? Virginity will not guarantee faithfulness, it's funny how people really forget what makes a person - the actual person. In fact most of the advantages seem to rely on the person's character not virginity. And in this day and age, where anyone can still technically be a virgin, as long as they haven't had actual vag.inal penetrative intercourse. EDIT: The censors can be quite annoying. |
It's amazing how people don't read the full message, some of y'all really need to read beyond the title. **sighs** |
If you're into live streaming, it's by 2am; downloads/torrents/streams should be out around a few minutes past 3am. |
Guykhena: Ya,but wasn't really happy with the way they gave bulk of DC characters cameos at the pilot episode,Penguin,Poison Ivy,Catwoman,The Roman,The Comedian,Ed Nigma aka The Riddler and so on,I mean it should be later on in the series,,,They've said that the season will be mostly about the rise of the Penguin. |
Guykhena: wow just watched the premier of "Gotham",nice way to start a series..It really was, really psyched to see what happens next. |
LordReed: Females liking carnage o wow!Well, I know I do. I thought it was quite obvious with my God of War signature... |
Flawlessangel: so u finally got this game...coolI had to buy a copy from the US. Sweet baby Jebus, the carnage, OTT & constantly breaking the fourth wall on this, is just pure Deadpool. |
Eneze1: Movies: After earth, Man of steelKyle XY was a TV series. @Folarinwazzy, you mentioned X-Men Days of Future Past....and then you forgot the OTT travesty/too many characters/OOC characters crap-fest that was X-Men: The Last Stand? I remember when I watched TLS in the cinema and I said 'BS' at the scene, where they said Phoenix was split personality of Jean Grey, then people turning their heads to look back at me (I was dead centre at the last row), I replied back by repeating myself. The waste of Angel, Psylocke, Callisto, the Morlocks, Cyclops...I could go on. DFP is not crap, yes time travel and the paradoxes it brings are a pain in the neck, no doubt about that, but compared to TLS, DFP is a ray of sunshine. Abeg, OUAT is not crap. Lana Parrilla (Regina) saves the heck out of this show, they could make the show about Regina's sass/snark and it would still be better than a lot of shows out there. |
