You did not answer my first question. who do you work for? Nigerian or who? since you hate them this much

the truth is you can blame thier govt. its them who do all this things and thier media. People like the poster has nothing to do with it. If she was racist, would be have married a Nigerian and sty this long. Trust me benefit and child support is enough for her to keep going.  You dont have to hate on people like that. You keep saying my job this and my job that. How many people in UK are going to school. I am developing myself and no one can take the knowledge away from me. IT is needed in every company and i will always get a job since i am in the system. You say i am expenable. Yes i am but my knowledge is not and that whats will always give me an edge. i still study to learn new tech things and it making me a better IT guy.
If you are here to improve your life, why hate on the locals who have no idea on whats going on.
why are you so interested in knowing who i work for? the issue is not about who i work for but about the hypocrisy of white british people - they smile in your face but stab you in your back as soon as you are out of earshot.  The funny thing is people like you are none the wiser. by the way many expatriates in nigeria are out and out racists but this hasnt stopped them from working in nigeria, many of them even date nigerian women but still harbour very low opinions about black people in general.

you keep making excuses for them as if they are totally ignorant of what goes on around the world , many of them have access to information and they do know what is going on but choose to ignore the injustices because they are benefitting from it.  Do you think the white guy in your office doeesnt know that the only reason you were hired is becasue you are cheaper than a fellow white person?  They are fully aware but they would rather hire you and make you do a job meant for two people on a fraction of the salary they would have had to pay a white person who would never work as hard as you do.

by the way many english people from working class backgrounds dont need to go to school to get the kind of job that most black people get in this country - fact.
This topic was about you hating on the poster saying she should not be helped because she is white. That being delusional. If you hate them, get the hell out of UK

Say what you want. There are lot of IT jobs in the uk. If i leave my current place, the knowledge and experience is enough for me to work anywhere. Do you know what Outsourcing means? and who ever said anything about free lunch? i knew from the days i came here that there is no free lunch lunch. You got to work hard. If you actually worked in Nigeria before, you much be one of those who are lazy who just go to work and not productive at all. so you think you can do the same here in uk. Get a life bro. i managed computer networks and there will always be one IT guy in every company no matter how outsourced it would be. My job is never a threat to me. i get a very good wage for my experience and i told you it gonna go up every year. For God sake this is not Nigeria where you will be trapped on one Job.  You can always move in IT and your pay gets bigger all the time.

The truth is you are just a player hater. You started from hating the poster to hating your own Nigerian people just because we told you the truth about you hating on White people.
why should i get the hell out of a country in which i make my livelihood, i am here for the same reason that the poster is attempting to go to nigeria - to make money and improve my life.

If you werent so ignorant you would understand that many of us left nigeria to come here because the govts of britain and america have destroyed the economies of our countries.

As martinosi pointed out - the world bank are now officially running our govt, they have actually moved into Aso Rock - it doeesnt get any more blatant than that.

You can think what you like about your job prospects in the UK but the reality is that we are now in an economic decline and as unemployment continues to rise, nationalism and xenophobia will also begin to rise, no english person will tolerate you being in a job when he is out of a job. You are not indispensable - you are highly expendable - if everyone else's pay check is being frozen due to the recession why would you be an exception?  you are not a brain surgeon you are a bog standard IT guy - guys like you are a dime a dozen.
wake up and stop being a jerk.

martinosi:
Nigerians and their BS Sometimes, is totally amazing,  CAP28 has said it all,
all of you trying to defend your exposed "rear-end" should just shut-up,

The summary of the matter is that if you work for an employee here in the
UK you are expendable ie u CAN be fired/retired/re-deployed for any funny
reason, cant keep count of all the lame excuses,

IF U DONT OWN THE COMPANY U WORK FOR U CANT REALLY DEFEND ANY JOB SECURITY DEBATE!!!
Bros - total BS.

These id.iots actually think they are indispensable - they dont realise that they are basically just being used to reduce overheads.

This whole thing of employing blacks as cheap labour did not start today, this is why in america, black workers were referred to as union busters because during strikes, employers would bus in black workers to take up jobs previously being done by white strikers - the black workers were used as a weapon to break up or weaken strikes.

I wont argue with you other than if you think IT is easy, Get a job in IT and see for your self. With Cisco,Microsoft servers Citrix Vmware Juniper networks  I get paid well enough for me to live a very comfortable life here and my salary is going to be reviewed yearly so i cant complain.i get sent to seminars and i attend trainings. The fact that you hate a whole race just because you encountered a few people who treated you badly is ridiculous. If that was it, i would never have gotten this job because everyone who think like you will think as a  Nigerian,i would want to steal data. As the admin, i handle all private stuff.Never been disrespected at my work place. You sound very frustrated man. and you need help. Dont blame a whole race just because you been treated badly.
what for?

I love what i do - besides IT is a very tenuous area to be working in during an economic decline - the big corporations are outsourcing everthing to china and india because its cheaper for them to employ wage slaves to do exactly what you are doing.

My profession on the other hand can not be outsourced to china, indonesia or india because it would be highly impractical and not cost effective.

For someone who claims to be an "analyst" your analytical skills leave much to be desired.

I do not hate anyone - i just say things as i see them - would you prefer me to be like you and the vast majority of nigerians who prefer to live on cloud cuckoo land?

You need a reality check as  you still haven't grasped one simple fact about life - that there is no such thing as a free lunch - you are there doing bog standard IT work acting like you've just invented the cure for cancer when the reality is that you are basically being used as cheap labour - if you think im lying why dont you shop around and find out what a white english guy doing your job or a similar job  earns - as they say the truth will set you free.
i am the only IT officer where i work. The only IT guy.You heard. I went through interviews with lot of Citizens here but i was the one they chose,  I attend Technical meetings and my opinion matters a lot where i work.i draft out proposal and it gets approved. I am currently drafting another one now for another project. I work with Educated people, not benefit scroungers or low life people. I fix things here and people appreciate it.  i dont blame you From the questions you have asked and responses here, i am 90% sure you worked with uneducated people.People who think you are stealing thier job( Unskilled labor) or trying to get thier benefits. I am not delusional. Like i said where you work and stay matters a lot and who you relate with. Speaking of rudely, that can never happen in an official place in UK. It must all be in your head feeling inferior. Most people who dislike foreigners are unskilled guys. Have you not heard of coming in UK recruiting people from India? if everyone was racist, would they bring them in?
IT is a job that anyone with the ability to move one foot in front of the other can do - its not that difficult  and you probably got the job because being black you are cheaper to hire - that is a fact. Even in my profession blacks and asians are paid less than their white counterparts - you can continue to deceive yourself that you are somehow indispensable to them or that they have done you a big favour - they havent.

The majority of IT jobs have actually been outsourced to India where technicians will work for half your salary so you better watch your back because you might soon find yourself in the dole queue.

You dont have to be uneducated to be racist - educated people are just better at masking their racism - i attended a university here where all the middle class white kids who were privately educated kept themselves to themselves and never hung out with anyone who wasnt like them - many educated whites do not socialise with blacks - you do not understand anything about english people or their culture thats why you are on the defensive, once you understand them you will stop getting so worked up about what i am saying. This country is very race and class conscious, the majority of whites who tend to socialise with blacks are from working class backgrounds

cap28 is an office cleaner who is lazy and gets disrespected.
i have been working in england for eons and i have never been disrespected by anyone on this isle. the squabbles i have had here with colleagues are the same as what i would have had if i was working in nigeria.

i dish instructions out to white brits and they follow it through. like you said, i don't cross my boundaries and my boundaries cannot be crossed just by anyone.
it just goes to show how pathetic cap28 reasons in this day and age. if he hates the white folks this much, i wonder what he's still doing in britain.
why can't he f@ck off back to his village where he won't be discriminated against? i just think it's idiotic to blame one's failure in life by waving the race card.
Compare the way i express myself to the way you express yourself and let a third party judge who is the office cleaner between the two of us.

The idea that a functional illiterate like yourself would ever be allowed to work in an environment that required the use of a single braincell is beyond ludicrous.

Your poor grammar, gutter language and references are a dead giveaway as to the kind of job you do here in england and i can bet my life on it that the only time you come across white people is when you get on to the night bus in order to make your way to your nightshift job in central london .

Failure is not in my dictionary as i have two degrees and I am about to embark on a masters degree, oh did i mention that i work within a profession that you could only dream about being in?
The fact that i am aware of my immediate environment does not make me a failure - it makes me conscious as oppposed to being braindead and unconscious like you - so stick to mingling with your fellow nightshift workers whose only contact with white people is when they step on and off night buses and trains on their way to their minimum wage jobs cleaning up after whitey.

English people are very good at SMILING IN YOUR FACE BUT TEARING YOU APART AS SOON AS YOUR BACK IS TURNED, I HAVE LIVED, STUDIED AND WORKED WITH THEM FOR MOST OF MY LIFE AND I KNOW THAT THEY MERELY TOLERATE FOREIGNERS ESPECIALLY BLACK FOREIGNERS.

Many nigerians like you are brainwashed, have low self esteem and feel inferior to whites thats why you cant tell when you are being spoken to rudely, english people feel superior to africans, but they mask their contempt with a technique known as sarcasm and fake smiles which many nigerians who didnt grow up around english people do not understand, many nigerians who arrive in the UK as adults from nigeria act like inferior fools around white people and cant tell when they are being made fun of - you sound like you must be one of them. I would like to know what position you occupy in that company, does the job you do involve exchanging ideas and opinions? do you have any english subordinates workign under you? how do they relate to you? do they take orders from you? what do they think of your opinions? many nigerians like yourself are delusional and actually think whites respect you - ive got news for you - they dont, why shoudl they when they can hire and fire you at the drop of a hat? you have no power or control over them but they have total control and power over your livelihood as they control access to jobs and income- I have no reason to feel inferior to anyone as i am well educated and have a good job working within a profession where elitism and racism is a fact of life, many nigerians do not work or relate to white people on an equal basis because many of them are working in the service sector in low paid jobs or bottom rung govt jobs where their views and opinions are never sought - i think this is where you are coming from

bros how you dey? - no kill me with laughter oh!!! grin grin grin

I have to agree that this poster is a fraud - here is why i think this poster is full of crap:

she claims to be 27 years old with three children the eldest being 11 - which means she would have had that child at 16 and still managed to complete a 3 year law degree and then still find the time to set up a business all this with 3 kids and probably living on only her husband's income because i cant imagine that she would be working whilst studying full time with 3 children.

Unless her husband is a highly skilled professional earning a huge salary and therefore able to support her and the children i cant see how she was able to accomplish all of the above .

Also how was she able to start up a business whilst juggling such a hectic schedule?

how many white women do you know that would saddle themselves with such a burden? Why would a white woman with so many options out there get pregnant at 16 and then embark on a career in law - a career which is known for being very expensive and time consuming with Two children - okay lets assume the first child was a mistake - how about the second and third ones which she claims she had while still studying?

the majority of white women do not deliberately put themselves through unnecessary hardship if they can avoid it because they have more options open to them than black women job wise.
How many white women do you know that work full time when they have children? Majority of the married white women do not need to work so hard because they are supported by their husbands who usually earn a decent salary to take care of them along with the children - this story sounds like pure BS.

why are we so desperate to be of assistance to our enemies?

If this poster is in fact a white british woman (which i doubt) - why should we care about her welfare?

lets put the shoe on the other foot - how many white british people would be willing to give a nigerian family advice on how to relocate and get started in britain?

how do white british people view nigerians in the work place? how supportive are they towards nigerians who are new to their country?

if you are on the same page as me i'm sure that you would have come to the same conclusion as me that the answer is none.

if i were given a penny for the number of white british people who have asked me why i am in their country, when am i going back i woudl be a millionaire and yet, and yet we have some dumb nigerians on here giving this white british woman advice on how she can get a good job, upgrade herself and her lifestyle and have access to a standard of living that many nigerians in nigeria itself do not even have - they say charity begins at home - i noticed that some self hating nigerians even had the audacity to brag that nigerians treat foreigners better than their own people - shame on you. How many white people do you know that treat foreigners better than their own people? This same woman who is begging for advice on here would never put you before her own people if you came to britain looking for a better life.

If you have never worked with white british people please do not respond to my post, i have worked with them and i know how much they despise black people. They smile in your face but will stop at nothing to make your life a living hell.

Nigerians stop feeling inferior to whites - they have no respect for you and just use you to get what they want, the whites in nigeria are only there because they are living a lifestyle they could only dream about in the UK. I work with these people and they have nothing good to say about africa and africans.

Forget about all the bullshi.t and lies many delusional fools tell you on here.

Libya was bombed because Ghaddafi threatened to annihilate Benghazi, not because of any of your imagined theories.
looks like you never out grew fairy stories - dont you find it odd that NATO had to drop thousands of missiles on a country killing over 100,000 of its citizens in a bid to protect one town?

They don't need nuclear capability to defend themselves from your imagined theories. Intelligent governments like Saudi, Qatar and Oman are dictating to oil companies and getting maximum benefit for their people without needing nuclear weapons.
all of the countries you've mentioned are brutal corrupt dictatorships who have sold out their own people in exchange for bribes and multi million dollar deals - in exchange they get military protection from the US  in order to ensure that their corrupt regimes are never overthrown.

they certainly do not dictate to the IOCs they take orders from them, for example now that america has imposed economic sanctions on iran preventing them from exporting their oil in order to cripple their economy, Saudi arabia has been ordered to increase their oil production to make up for any shortfall on the world market , Qatar is a puppet of america who were ordered to attack libya a fellow arab nation during the libyan crisis last year.

Who said anything about playing fair or are you now unable to read and comprehend? I've said the IOCs seek profit above all else - unless you align their profit seeking drive with national development, you are wasting your time.
right so because you seek to make profit that means you are entitled to destroy natural habitats, pollute water, flare gas and emit dangerous gases into the atmosphere.  So why do we have regulatory laws? surely if the end result is to seek profit at all costs why are multinationals like shell held to account in other countries where they pollute and degrade the surrounding environment, why is it only in nigeria that we have people like you who excuse this type of unethical behaviour with the same tired old response about them needing to make profit - try telling that to the niger delta fishermen who have watched their rivers change colour and the surrounding vegetation die off from toxic gases and fumes created by shell's activities in the area.

How this is connected to Shell not building refineries in Nigeria is beyond me. Are you arguing something else in your head or the issue at hand?
it is connected because it is an example of the lengths that multinationals backed by their govts will go in order to protect their interests -

Oh yeah - South Korea's economy is so strong because they've armed themselves to prevent attack from America, so is Saudi Arabia's, Qatar's, Malaysia's, Singapore's and Taiwan's. grin
South korea's economy was allowed to boom because america continues to use south korea as a buffer state against the spread of communism and to serve as a pro US presence in that region to prevent any attempts by china to expand further into the region.

one thing you dont realise is that after the second world war the united states carved up the world along with russia , america being the most powerful nation at that time was able to designate specific roles for specific countries in the world - africa was designated the role of supplier of cheap raw materials and that is the role that almost every african country has been playing (with the exception of south africa which is controlled and run by europeans) since the end of the second world war.

there is no point hoping that nigeria's economy will ever be allowed to develop to the extent of those countries that you mentioned becuase its role is as a supplier of cheap crude oil .  industrialisation is not on the cards for any african country as far as america and europe are concerned and since no african country can defend itself from NATO it is forced to go along with anything that it is told to do by america and europe.

They are so ontop that their economy is booming to the extent of needing food aid from South Korea. I agree. grin
i dont know if you know this but north korea has been under US imposed economic sanctions since 1950 - thats 60 years of economic sanctions!!! here are a few of them:

Limits on the export of goods and services.
o Prohibition of most foreign aid and agricultural sales.
o A ban on Export-Import Bank funding.
o Denial of favourable trade terms.
o Prohibition of imports from North Korea.
o Blocking of any loan or funding through international financial institutions.
o Limits on export licensing of food and medicine for export to North Korea.
o A ban on government financing of food and medicine exports to North Korea.
o Prohibition on import and export transactions related to transportation.
o A ban on dual-use exports (i.e., civilian goods that could be adapted to military purposes.)
o Prohibition on certain commercial banking transactions. [14]

can you imagine what state nigeria would have been in if america banned the importation of nigeria's crude oil and prevented nigeria from having access to any international credit facilities??

and yet north korea is still able to offer its citizens free health care.

Does nigeria offer its citizens free health care?

nigeria relies heavily on food imports from america and europe despite being a net exporter of food products in the 1960s -  what do you think would hapen to nigeria if  america or europe imposed economic sanctions on it like it has done with north korea? dont  you think nigeria would collapse in less than 1 year but look at north korea after 60 years of cruel economic sanctions.

The government is not owned by America or Europe, but owned by their greed - their seeking of filthy lucre prevents them from taking altruistic decisions for the greater good. . . . .in practice they are no different from Shell in the sense of being pure profit seekers.
it seems as if you havent read that wikileaks dump where it was revealed that shell's officials have infiltrated all aspects of the nigerian govt and regularly  conduct surveillance of nigerian govt officials which they feed back to london and washington.
you also  need to research Shell's involvement in the nigerian civil war and their funding of that war.

IMF?
CORRUPTION and greed on a level that you would never imagine in your wildest dreams.

that's why the nigerian govt hiked up the price of petrol (claiming they were removing a non existent subsidy)

you should listen to Professor Tam David WEst's analysis of what is really going on in the oil sector - you will weep.

May I remind you that a private company has just completed a refinery in Imo state which should come on line soon. Most of the financing came from a Chinese bank.  While Ngozi and others were running around asking the Chinese for billion dollar loans a few weeks ago, why didn't they negotiate for the financing of refineries since IMF is blocking alternative financing of such projects as you claim?
Because Ngozi is a world bank stooge whose job is not to develop and industrialise nigeria but to open nigeria up for the further economic exploitation of her paymasters in Washington.

the chinese are offering loans to african countries on much more favourable terms than the debt slavery terms of the IMF and the World bank but many of these offers are being blocked by WAshington by threats of military invasion and economic sanctions.

Not unless it ALSO favours their interest - the IOCs are profit seeking entities and it would be foolish to expect them to be acting altruistically except in pursuit of profit. What intelligent governments do is set up agreements that align the national interest to the interests of the foreign entities.

The reason why Shell is interested in gas is that increased local utilisation of gas enables them to utilise gas reserves that may be too marginal for export.

When our own government is acting AGAINST Nigeria's national interest it is quite foolish to expect an IOC to do so.
will you be quiet.

how come intelligent govts like libya who tried to counter the neo colonial invasion of NATO were subjected to a military bombardment from NATO?

how come intelligent govts like iran who are merely trying to develop a nuclear capability in order to defend themselves from neo colonial imperialism are now facing a nuclear attack from europe, america and israel?

keep fooling yourself that europe and america are playing fair when it is obvious to even the most stu.pid person that they seek total military and economic control over weaker resource rich third world countries.

this interest that you talk about - can you define what it is?

is it okay to drop 100 missilies on a tiny nation of 6 million people because you seek to protect your "interests"

or is it okay to invade a sovereign west african country (ivory coast) and slaughter thousands of unarmed youths in order to protect your economic interests?

Let me put you straight - what intelligent countries do is they ARM THEMSELVES IN ORDER TO PREVENT ATTACK FROM MORE POWERFUL IMPERIALIST NATIONS LIKE AMERICA.

he who can defend himself remains on top - that is why north korea is an independent nation in control of its own economic and military affairs while nigeria is an enslaved nation.

Your own govt acts against the economic interests of the nigerian people because it is a puppet govt owned by america and europe - in my book it is extremely foolish and st.upid to expect a puppet govt to act in the interest of its people when it owes its existence to its western puppet masters.
Investing in building a refinery in Nigeria is a business decision for Shell whose primary duty is to protect shareholder value and to enhance it. They should not build anything if it will negatively impact their shareholders (Business 101).

The Chinese companies on the other hand are owned by the Chinese government and their interests are political rather than being business interests.

The real question is, why can't the government invest aggressively in the existing refineries and bring them to 70 capacity?
nigerians are the only oppressed people that i know that consistently argue in defence of their oppressors.

someone has got his foot on your neck - and yet you jump to his defence arguing in defence of shell shareholders as if you are one of them - what is your concern about shell share holders when you can never be one of them?

a powerful multinational reduces you and your people to penury in your own country and you are talking about shareholder dividends as if that is your most pressing concern.

can shell dare do what its doing in nigeria in a country like saudi arabia or even venezuela? are you aware that shell has created the worst man made disaster in the niger delta area as a result of gas flaring and oil spillage ?  and yet your own concern is their shareholders - f.uc.k their shareholders - they are multi millionaires who wouldnt even employ you as a janitor in any of their offices in the world.

shell bp is more or less a govt it is acutally more powerful than a sovereign nation i - research its history which goes back as far as the 19th century.

if you think that shell has no political interst in nigeria then you need to read the wikileaks dumps about nigeria again - also find out the role the played in ken saro wiwa's execution by abacha.

the nigerian govt cant invest in building of refineries because it is currently enslaved by IMF conditionalities which control and dictate nigeria's economic policy - all of which was made possible by Okonjo Iweala and Obasanjo in 2006.

You are a functional illiterate - this is why you STILL dont get it.

Fool try and connect the dots for once in your dumb life - Libya was attacked because it held africa's  largest oil reserves and refused to comply with the satanic demands of europe and america - it also occupied a strategic position in that it was close to europe and could serve as an excellent launch pad for european and military operations on other stubborn nations like syria and iran - your porous brain has not yet worked out that africa is merely a raw material supplier to europe and america and is not even regarded as an equal in terms of economic or military capablity.

The idea that someone as gutless as GEJ would ever dream of taking a position opposite to europe and america is beyond laughable.

i am suprised that you can expect anyone to take you seriously when you were busy kissing the butt hole of a man who endorsed a gang of arab racists in libya who openly lynched nigerians and other black africans.

why would anyone take a self hating loser like you seriously?

You and GEJ deserve the same treatment that was meted out to those nigerians who were unfortunate enough to die at the hands of those racist libyan lynch mobs.

why would goodluck jonathan endorse an aerial bombardment over a fellow african nation and then turn around to challenge the same people who carried out these acts ? this is not how things work in the real world fool.

THINK FOR ONCE IN YOUR PATHETIC LIFE.

Christine Lagarde  - the head of IMF dictates west africa's economic and foreign policy.

All the govts of  West African nations are weak and can not defend the economic or territorial integrity of their own nations.

US africom has troops located in Djibouti, Libya and  the Ugandan border - africa is back to where it was in 1885 so Beaf you better shut up your mouth and understand the gravity of the situation in africa right now.

Shell and other IOCs are not interested in assissting nigeria to become an industrialised nation they are only interested in saving their own economies from imminent economic collapse  and they are trying to do that by implementing economic policies that guarantee the mass transfer of wealth from africa into the empty coffers of their respective economies.

What a sad psychiatric case. cry cry cry cry
most illiterates fall back on ad hominem remarks when they can't defend their arguments.

Beaf - not too long ago you were rejoicing over an unprovoked attack on an oil rich african nation by europe and america - remember how you laughed deliriously when america used their "hell fire missiles" to kill and maim africa's most courageous son Muammar Qadaffi whose only crime was to fight to prevent his country from becoming a neo colonial cess pit like nigeria.

today those criminals whose feet you were kissing are now giving you shi.t to eat. why not suck it up and eat the shi.t?

Libya was the first stop being the country with africa's largest oil reserves.

nigeria is now no 2 - but since GEJ has already been paid off to sell out his own country the only thing the europeans and americans are doing to you now is reducing you to perpetual poverty - while they carrry on looting, ra.ping and degrading your environment all because they want to remain at the top of the totem pole.

Daft.

If you wish to look out for the welfare of Europeans, I don't. The term for such, is low self-esteem.
I am only interested in Nigeria's interest. Which at this point is that oil major oil players in our land MUST build refineries to run a full chain from production to finished goods. If they cannot comply then they can stuff their custom and head for your beloved Europe.
HAHAHAHAHA!!!!
I CANT BELEIVE BEAF HAS MADE A COMPLETE 360 degree U TURN ON HIS LOVE FOR EUROPEANS AND AMERICANS -  grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

BUT DUMBO YOU NEED TO REALISE THAT A SLAVE MASTER IS NOT IN THE BUSINESS OF DOING BUSINESS THAT DOES NOT BENEFIT HIM - i therefore find it puzzling that you still have not grasped the basic fact that Shell BP are in nigeria to exploit and amass stupendous wealth - go and read up on their history -go and read up on their activities around the world and find out how the Iranians checkmated them in 1979 with the overtrhow of the Shah of Iran and the Iranian revolution.

They have never forgiven the Iranians for that, this is why they are staging a major attack on them in collaboration with their puppet Israel.

GEJ happened to be meeting with Shell, thats why their case came up. It will be the same with other oil players.
As for NNPC, I am tired of explaining to NLers how that works. It was never set up to build refineries, rather, it was set up to make the pillaging and exploitation of Nigeria by the likes of Shell smooth and easy.

NNPC is due to be broken up like PHCN. Hopefully, that will begin to happen this year or next. One of the resulting companies will be a true oil company that is built to make profits (not run on subsidies), that company will be able to compete with the likes of Shell and even go drill oil and build refineries in foreign countries like any real oil company can do.

We have had oil for half a century, but we have laid back to be milked and ra'ped by foreigners. Until recently, we had to go to the likes of Shell to tell us how much oil we had drilled for the day.
Such enslavement in our own land absolutely cannot continue. angry
you deserve to be in the guiness book of records for being the world's biggest fool.

do you not understand that GEJ and Shell are in cahoots?

do you not understand that Shell are so powerful they can actually have GEJ overthrown if he fails to comply with their orders?

do you not understand that every single military coup in nigeria has been funded, aided and abetted by shell BP ?

How can GEJ defend nigeria's interests  against multinational corporations like shell, chevron, eni etc when these same corporations in collaboration with their own govts were responsible for the complete destruction of iraq and libya and are about to launch an attack on another oil rich naiton - iran ?

do  you have a brain at all?

nigeria can not defend itself against NATO - okay - NATO is the military arm of american and european multinational corporations - failure to comply with foreign IOC's results in military attack from NATO - AM I GETTING THROUGH TO YOU YET?

Iran unlike nigeria can defend itself and this is why america and europe have not attacked her yet, but they will.

Dude, please don't quote me, because you are impressively stup!d. A fool who thinks there are men on the Moon.

@topic.
Who cares if Shell is selling their refineries all over the World? How is that Nigeria's business?
Nigeria can only look out for her interest, which at this point is more refineries. If we are making it part of the rules for oil majors in the PIB, then Shell had better get used to it now or leave.

For those singing about Indian companies building refineries in India, they should go sing the same tune to the likes of Oando, who are only interested in collecting subsidies and so will only benefit if we keep importing fuel (which is the deal the #Occupy clowns fought for).
You are a dumbarse!!!

how can Goodluck Jonathan dictate to one of the most powerful multinationals in the world when his election campaign was funded by america and britain?  why are you such a fool?

do you think they put him in office for the fun of it?

the entire west african region is now fully under the control of america and britain - Ouattara is ECOWAS chairman and all west african countries are headed up by western controlled puppets - china that is actually doing something positive for africa ie building infrastructure and giving interest free loans are about to be completely forced out of africa.

I thought you loved the west - Shell are more powerful than any western govt - western govts take orders from shell not the other way round and yet in your porous brain you actually think puppet GEJ can give orders to one of the most powerful multinationals in the world - have you heard of the phrase educated illiterate?

go and take an international relations course cos you are in dire need of it.

The worst thing any man can be is a slave in his own mind. That is what you are.
Nobody praises Shell the way you just did. There are even International human rights organisations like Greenpeace, Amnesty International, Friends of the Earth etc who have incredibly scathing things to say about Shells operations in Nigeria. But I guess a slave will always be a slave,  unsurprisingly, in an earlier post, you called the Niger Deltans "bingo's." You might think you are ventilating fury, but you really are ventilating low-self-esteem that makes you look ridiculous. We understand your type.

We will not take nonsense from foreign exploiters.

If Shell cannot build a refinery, then let them pack up and leave. cool
We have already forced them off most of their onshore operations which have been sold off. They need to pack out of Nigeria (and with love so strong, you can go with them whenever they leave).
HAHAHAHA !!! I CAN'T BELEIVE WHAT I'M READING FROM SLAVE EXTRAORDINAIRE AKA BEAF!!! I THOUGHT YOU LOVED YOUR ENSLAVERS - HAVE YOU AWOKEN FROM YOUR COMAhuh

Do you really think in your delusional mind that GEJ has the power to ask Shell to leave nigeria??

no seriously - do you?

remember how many months back you were laughing your arse off over the demise of africa's only true leader - Muammar Qadaffi ?  do you remember how you thought it was so thrilling that Libya was invaded and razed to the ground by european terrorist militas aka NATO?

Did you ask yourself why Qadaffi was so hated by the west- did  you know that Qadaffi ordered the british and american oil companies out of libya incurring their wrath which subsequently resulted in the imposition of a no fly zone and a terrible aerial bombardment over libya - now do you think that shameless coward who voted in favour of this same no fly zone over libya will now turn around and start giving orders to these same people?

you must be smoking crack.

keep deceiving yourself

By the way Shell OWNS NIGERIA not the other way around - the buck stops with them -  Shell gave the order ffor kEN Saro Wiwa to be killed and Abacha complied or else he would have been overthrown.

there is nothing GEJ can do about it - if you dont like it -there is only one way out - revolution - but 99% of nigerians are cowards and can never fight for their rights no matter how much suffering they are forced to pass through.

good luck hoping on GEJ - slaves do not bite the fingers that helped them in to power unless they want to become martyrs - which GEJ definitely will never be.

long live Muammar Qadaffi - the only african leader who almost succeeded in defeating american and european hegemony over africa and its natural resources.

nigerian mugus have the scales cleared from your eyes yet or do you still need more an.al rap.ing from your neo colonial masters before you understand what is going on?

why would your slavemaster want you to build oil refineries in your country when they can make ten times the amount of money from you by refining your own oil for you and then selling it back to you at a vastly extortionate amoutn of money?

Shell - you've got to love them - at least they dont hide what they stand for.

a theif will always be a theif - this theif started off his career by looting diy stuff from a london hardware store along with his wife - - if he had done that in nigeria he would have had a tyre thrown around his neck and been burnt alive - instead all he got was a caution - a mere slap on the wrist -he was then free to create even more mayhem. Hope some big guys gang ra.pe him in prison.
