You Sir, are only repeating what I am driving at. Remove the racist part and it boils down to the same thing ie The man wants his daughter to hook up with someone who is rich and comfortably take care of her, just like any Parent would wish.
no am not repeating what you were driving at. Hulk hogan would not mind an average or even broke white boy marrying his daughter but would hit the roof if any other black man other than a multi millionaire tried to date his daughter and this is how majority of whites reason. The average white sees marriage to a black person as marrying down unless that person is rich thats why majority don't marry blacks.

Brushing racists sentiments aside once again, how many people(Nigerian Parents) would readily accept, if their daughter came home with a man who has no job and no skill at all? If given the chance between Dangote's son and a Carpenter, how many parents will choose the carpenter? It's easy to throw Hulk Hogan under the bus for such comments because he is famous but would it have mattered if an unknown white who probably is a janitor had made such statement?

NB: I'm not taking sides with Hulk Hogan, just being objective.

you missed the point. What hulk hogan is saying is that no black man is good enough for his daughter unless he is a multi millionaire. Infact most white people feel the exact same way about black people. You're only good enough for them if they stand to gain something from you.

Ok Let's take a minute and re-read Hulk Hogan's comment again brushing aside our Racists sentiments. You'll get the true message.

In other words, Hulk Hogan is telling his daughter that if she must sleep with/date an African-American, why not the likes of those who are stupendously RICH. Just the way Kim Kardashian is doing! Have you guys seen or heard Kim Kardashian or any Kardashian member dating a broke African-American?

yeah ray jay and about ten other broke ass losers before him

People of Nigeria, stop wasting your time believing in Buhari, he has been bought and paid for by the US govt, I never imagined that I would ever say this but, Goodluck Jonathan had Nigeria's interest at heart much more than the current Buhari that we are seeing now (not the one of the 1980s). Buhari has been completely neutralised and has sold Nigeria out big time. Believe it or not but GEJ lost the support of the US govt because he kept moving closer and closer to China in terms of bilateral trade agreements, this caused the US govt to stop buying oil from Nigeria and step up their bombing campaign aka Boko haram against Nigeria, for those who are still in denial, Boko Haram is a creation of US intelligence:

[b]Former Nigerian military dictator meets with Obama, Kerry in Washington

By Thomas Gaist
22 July 2015

Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari met with US Secretary of State John Kerry and Vice President Joseph Biden in Washington Tuesday. The visits followed a meeting between Buhari and President Barack Obama the previous day.

The meetings marked the first visit to official Washington by the recently elected Nigerian leader and were focused on enhanced US military and economic involvement in the country, now the continent’s largest economy and oil producer.

Discussions between Obama and Buhari focused on “US-Nigeria cooperation to advance a holistic, regional approach to combating Boko Haram,” according to the White House.

“President Buhari comes into office with a reputation for integrity and a very clear agenda, and that is to make sure that he is bringing safety and security and peace to his country,” Obama said in remarks Monday.

“He’s very concerned about the spread of Boko Haram and the violence that’s taken place there, and the atrocities that they’ve carried out, and has a very clear agenda in defeating Boko Haram and extremists of all sorts inside of his country. And he has a very clear agenda with respect to rooting out the corruption that too often has held back the economic growth and prosperity of his country.”

Obama lavished similar praise on Buhari at the time of his election, calling his rise to power an “historic” event.

Buhari’s meeting with Vice President Biden, held at the US Naval Observatory, focused on the need to “unlock the full potential of the Nigerian economy,” according to a White House press handout.

“The Vice President reiterated U.S. support for Nigeria’s efforts to not only defeat Boko Haram militarily, but also to invest in development and create the conditions for lasting security, stability, and economic prosperity in northern Nigeria,” a White House statement said.

Buhari’s red carpet treatment and warm relations with the US political and media elite make clear that the former dictator, a retired military general who seized power in a coup d’etat in 1984, is being recruited as a favored instrument of Washington’s drive to consolidate military and political domination over the continent.

CNN declared on Tuesday that Buhari “enjoys the most respected status internationally of any of his predecessors.”

Buhari’s presidential campaign, which featured similar public relations techniques used during Obama’s own 2008 presidential run, was managed by the US consulting firm AKPD, which is headed by David Axelrod, Obama’s close confidante and campaign adviser.

Buhari’s predecessor, President Goodluck Jonathan, had increasingly come into conflict with Washington in part as a result of his moves to open Nigeria’s oil sector to Chinese investment.

In 2014, Washington reined in US military and intelligence assistance to Nigeria, and US corporations cut purchases of Nigerian oil nearly to zero, an event that the Atlantic Council’s Peter Pham characterized as a “sea change in Nigeria’s relations with the United States.”

As relations between the US and Nigerian governments were souring to their lowest point in years, the Jonathan administration announced the sudden cancellation of US-run programs to train new Nigerian military battalions in December 2014.

Since coming to power, Buhari has moved rapidly to purge Jonathan-era officials from the state-owned oil company and renew joint military and intelligence activities with the US. American intelligence agencies are now working closely with the new administration to develop Nigeria’s security forces, a Buhari administration statement confirmed this week.

Buhari has also announced plans to relocate Nigerian military headquarters to the northeastern capital of Maiduguri, as part of a broader drive to militarize the northeast in the name of fighting Boko Haram.

The Boko Haram militants, cited for years by the Pentagon’s Africa Command (AFRICOM) as a main target for future US operations, gained sudden global prominence amidst a media frenzy over the kidnapping of scores of Nigerian schoolgirls in May 2014.

Last year, the Obama administration seized on the kidnappings to push for new US intervention in the country, including regular US drone flights over Nigeria, supporting a media propaganda campaign centered on images of US First Lady Michelle Obama holding up a #BringBackOurGirls sign and making a sad face.

By centering his platform on the war against Boko Haram, Buhari was signaling his intention to collaborate with the US drive to militarize Nigeria and reassert control over its oil resources.

Buhari has already moved to make good on his campaign vows, donating some $100 million in funds to the anti-Boko Haram Multinational Joint Task Force (MJTF) established by the African Union (AU) in January. The MJTF, which includes soldiers from Niger, Chad, Nigeria and Cameroon, will launch new military operations inside Nigeria within one month, Buhari vowed on Tuesday.

In March, as part of an increasing military buildup of US forces throughout West Africa, including massive US-led war games centered around lake Chad Basin in the opening months of 2015, a joint force led by US-trained Chadian special forces invaded northeastern Nigeria. In the name of fighting Boko Haram and with tacit support from Washington, tanks and hundreds of ground troops from Chad, Niger, and Cameroon crossed the border and conducted air and ground assaults against Nigerian towns.

US imperialism has responded to growing Chinese influence in Africa with military involvement and political intrigues in every major strategic center on the continent. Nigeria is a central prize in this growing confrontation between the US and China for control over the continent’s vast reserves of natural resources and cheap labor. More than a decade ago, then-vice president Dick Cheney’s Energy Task Force singled out Nigeria’s offshore oil reserves as having special strategic significance for the US.

The rise of Buhari, who embodies the complete subservience of the ex-colonial bourgeoisie to imperialism and has already demonstrated his willingness to employ mass repression against the Nigerian working class, represents a victory for US efforts to sideline factions with the Nigerian elite that have moved to align more closely with China, while setting the stage for intensified conflict and militarization of broad areas of the country.

The US actively works to stop black countries from being able to stand on their own two feet. Just like Britain they are only in interested in exploiting nigeria. The US has military bases all over Africa, not for so called anti terrorism operations but to safeguard the resources from other competitors like the Chinese.

I am neutral on the US and Nigeria relationship because they owe Nigeria nothing. US is one of the nations that can purposely take a gateman from a very poor country and in 5 years, that person will be polished and sophisticated in their thinking. USA has come a long way from grasslands to where they are today. I might not like their gay stance but in the USA they try to give everyone a chance and a voice. There is no local government in the world that does not have someone/descendant in the USA.
Nigeria is at least 90% black, but still cannot live together or work well together. We want USA to come and help us do this and do that. Even God does not help people that don't help themselves talkless of mankind. We have to exhaust every option first which we have not done eg no intelligence gathering on a serious scale yet against terrorism; We have to rise above our differences at all levels so that external forces cannot cripple our resolve; We have to frown at crime, which is the only thing we do very very well.

People can say USA didn't win in Afghanistan but who is in power there?, they have perfected drone technology while there, they are perfecting intelligence gathering while there, and they are keeping their enemies on the run since their enemies play hide and seek. Nigeria, abeg make we dey know our mates. America is not perfect, but America is a very great country that have their own agenda and if they see a country with intelligence and courage like them, they align with that country. No time.

Africa A Voyage of Discovery - Different But Equal - Basil Davidson
Basil Davidson's seminal documentary series 'Africa A Voyage of Discovery' challenges the long held beliefs that Africa had 'no ingenious manufactures among them, no arts, no sciences'. The series presents a pan-African conception of history from the origins of Egypt and Nubia to the liberation movements that Basil Davidson was familiar with, in newly independent nations Zimbabwe and Mozambique.

When Greek Historian Herodotus visited Ancient Egypt he described the civilization he saw there as 'different but equal'. Episode one shows that some of the world's greatest early civilizations have their origins in black Africa, including those along the Nile Valley. The episode includes interviews with Senegalese mathematician, philosopher and Egyptology Cheikh Anta Diop and explores the growth of African civilizations in West and Northeast Africa.

Basil Davidson was an acclaimed writer on the subject of African history having written more than 30 books on the subject before he died in 2010. His works are required reading in many African, British and US universities & is often used as the framework for many Black history courses worldwide.

Basil Davidson's Africa A Voyage of Discovery series premiered at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on 20th October 1983, with a wonderful reception hosted by the Nigerian Permanent Mission to the UN.

The Africa A Voyage of Discovery series was shot and edited over a 2 year period beginning in 1981. During this period the accompanying book The Story of Africa was also written by Basil Davidson.

Watch this documentary and learn how the white man destroyed Africa. The presenter of the documentary is an English man and he speaks very candidly about how his ancestors ra.ped Africa and regarded (and still regard Africans) as an inferior race:

[b]Africa A Voyage of Discovery - The Magnificent African Cake - Scramble for Africa
The title is derived from King Leopold II of Belgium who declared his determination during the scramble for African territory to secure for himself a large a slice as possible of this so called 'magnificent African cake' The main European powers of the day met at the 1884 Berlin Conference to carve up the continent of Africa between themselves. Starting out on a West African shore where new European commercial interests had come to replace the old slaving ties, the films shows a variety of locations to examine the character and effects of European colonial interference in African affairs.

Basil Davidson's seminal documentary series 'Africa' challenges the long held beliefs like the opinion of David Hume that Africa had 'no ingenious manufactures among them, no arts, no sciences'. The series presents a Pan-African conception of history from the origins of Egypt and Nubia to the liberation movements that Basil Davidson was familiar with in newly independent nations in Zimbabwe and Mozambique.

Ever heard of the Berlin Conference of 1884 or the scramble for Africa I'm sure you haven't. That's where majority of the western European nations met up to carve up and divide the African continent amongst themselves. Every European nation that was at that conference subsequently became rich as a result of the wealth and cheap labour that they stole or exploited from their colonies:

[b]The "Scramble for Africa" is the invasion, occupation, colonization and annexation of African territory by European powers during the period of New Imperialism, between 1881 and 1914. It is also called the Partition of Africa and the Conquest of Africa. In 1870, only 10 percent of Africa was under European control; by 1914 it was 90 percent of the continent, with only Abyssinia (Ethiopia) and Liberia still being independent.

The Berlin Conference of 1884, which regulated European colonization and trade in Africa, is usually referred to as the starting point of the Conquest of Africa.[1] Consequent to the political and economic rivalries among the European empires in the last quarter of the 19th century, the partitioning of Africa was how the Europeans avoided warring amongst themselves over Africa.[2] The latter years of the 19th century saw the transition from "informal imperialism" (hegemony), by military influence and economic dominance, to the direct rule of a people which brought about colonial imperialism.

In terms of skin color,I think that all skin tones are beautiful in their own way and there's something for everyone ,but I think that a lighter skin tone and lighter objects generally posses more appeal(That's just the unchangeable nature of things). It's similar to how people say "light at the end of the tunnel." not " darkness at the end of the light".

We live in a Eurocentric world order, therefore this is reflected in our vocabulary. Under a Eurocentric world order language plays a crucial role, this is why everything negative is described as black eg black ball, black market, black sheep, black widow - this is not coincidental, the owners of the language have deliberately associated everything negative with blackness and this is why you label us "black people". If you look at our complexions we are not black we are brown, you are not white, you are pink but in order to create an image of being pure you describe yourself as white. You are very far away from whiteness in character, appearance and morality. Look at how morally bankrupt your societies are , men having sex with men, women having sex with animals, men having sex with babies, you are depraved and subhuman you are from a lower civilisation, unlike your ancestors we never lived in caves with rodents and insects we have always been at a higher level of socialisation than you and your ancestors.

I am a perfectionist and rarely tolerate mediocrity. my opinions are based on facts, fairness and honesty,so you see,I see all sides of the story; I am both aware and understand the damages caused by Imperialism(capitalism) and the shortcomings of black people.
Africa and Nigeria in particular is a very disorganized place ,and you can't use slavery and colonization as an excuse. Imperial interest has nothing to do with stopping the Nigerian government from building a civilized society. Japan is still under American wings, the Japanese Yen is 100 to a dollar, but Japan is a developed society. Did America stop Akwa Ibom from building roads?

What makes you a perfectionist?

You are a beneficiary of white privilege, without your white skin you would have to face the daily abuse, insults and prejudice that is part and parcel of a black person's existence in a white racist world.

You are given a pass through life simply because of the colour of your skin, the system is rigged so that people like you can just breeze through life while those who are the "wrong race" are forced to work ten times harder for half of what you have, how can someone like you be a perfectionist when the playing field has been rigged in your favour?

You rarely tolerate mediocrity? Don't make me laugh, how can someone who has never had to try hard at anything know the difference between excellence and mediocrity? You are a beneficiary of white supremacy, therefore you are the epitome of mediocrity.

If you understand imperialism why are you spouting shi.t all over this forum, why are you not acknowledging the evil perpetrated by your race?

You've recognised the shortcomings of black people but not your own shortcomings or the gargantuan shortcomings of your entire race - smdh!

Why blame slave trade, when its our ancestors and great great grand fathers, mothers, sisters and brothers that suffered slave trade and not we blacks of this present day. infact are we been chained or hunted down again and then sent on long voyages to work sugar cane plantation??..Look at japan even after d nuclear attack they are still developed, look at malaysian that came to us for palm kennel. e]

The wealth generated from the slave trade is the reason why the United States and many western European countries are world powers, the slave trade transformed barren European cities like London , Liverpool, Bristol and Southampton into the giant commercial cities that they have become today. Banks like Lloyds of London and Barclays made millions of pounds from it and jobs were created for indigenous British people from the money generated from it. As if that wasn't bad enough even after it was abolished its financiers were paid millions of pounds in compensation for the loss of their "property" while the freed slaves received nothing.

Africa's losses as a result of the slave trade are unquantifiable, we lost valuable manpower and our culture and value systems were destroyed forever. This is the reason why Europe and the US are so far ahead of us. As if that was not bad enough they returned to finish us off with colonialism which is still ongoing all over the continent, they pretended to give us independence but remain in the background pulling the strings.

The blacks/africans of this present times didn't suffer slavery and have the ability to work together to make africa and blacks proud BUT no they rather be tribalistic, they rather would continue to loot and starve there own pple..Look at black african countries and u begin to wonder if blacks where cursed.

The seeds of division were sown amongst us by the Europeans who used and still use divide and conquer tactics to keep us at each other's throats, they want us to continue to fight each other so that we never unite to fight our real enemy - THEM!
All black run countries of the world have been earmarked for destruction by the white race. Any black country that tries to extricate itself from white domination is destroyed. Haiti is the only black nation in the world that fought and defeated their white slave masters. Do y ou know wha the white race did to them? They destroyed their economy, by making them pay their former slave masters millions of dollars in compensation. Yes you heard me right, the freed Haitian former slaves had to pay their former slave masters for having the guts to free themselves from slavery, the money they were asked to pay was so much that Haiti couldn't focus on developing its economy as all of the wealth it was generating had to be used to service this payment- that should tell you how evil the white race is and how much they do not want any black nation in this world to succeed. There are many other examples of black nations who have tried and failed to free themselves from the tyranny and evil of the white race but I don't have the time to go into that, try and educate yourself about the world you live in,the bottom line is that the white man is working actively to make sure the black man remains in the gutter.

Black man so hate themselves come to Nigeria and see fellow blacks advising white men on how to underpay there fellow brothers and sisters and yet slave drive them to be productive.

The white enslaved us in the past BUT now its black man trying to oppress and enslave his fellow black.

You better start looking at the bigger picture.

The black man in Nigeria is a victim of a tyrannical system which is being aided and abetted by the white man, Who finances the military coups that place your corrupt leaders in power, who murders Africa's progressive leaders, who drops bombs on African countries that refuse to tow the line of the West?

The blue prints of success have been layed out why can't we blacks especially Nigeria just copy the positive and develop our country rather we develop on the negatives eg contract staffing, lack of social amenities, lastma official that died was taken to luth and wasn't treated cos of strike, we worship political thieves regardless of how much they loot as long as they are ur tribes me its okay.

As long as the white race has the power to stop you from progressing they will do so, do you think any Nigerian leader can go against the economic policies of the IMF and the World bank and live to tell the story. You better wake up and understand who you are up against. All these other nations that have developed economically were allowed to do so by the US and Europe.

Let's face it white is better than black for now at least they do things having interest of there pple. Things work in the white mans land compared to africa and nigeria especially.

Things work in the white man's land because everything they have was stolen from you. They use your cheap labour and cheap raw materials to elevate their own societies and ensure that you remain at the bottom. When you try to escape the misery they have created in your country they close their borders or deport you but when they come to your own country you welcome them with open arms.

Nigeria has a key role to play in giving africa and the black race a major face lift cause nigeria has the largest black population..The key to black pride rest in NIGERIA and until we grow beyond tribal bondage, selfishness ad backward mentality the world will continue to see the rest of blacks as failed and primitive.

I agree but this will not happen until the current ruling class of Nigeria are overthrown and replaced with a revolutionary group who put the interests of ordinary people before their own personal interests. the people running Nigeria at the moment are errand boys and lackeys of Europe and the US.

Firstly, any thought of wishing or hoping for black to be the superior race is just an illusion. there'll never be a time when black will be considered superior or more appealing. It is similar to a futile attempt as hoping for darkness to be superior to light or for night to be much better than day. Looking at the two photos below, which one do you prefer? surely there are millions who each prefer night or day,and there's so much fun to be had on a bright day with cloudless blue skies, but so does a clear starry night. So as you guessed, night & day both have their efficiency
Ying-Yang dictates that everything has a complimentary opposite and can not exist independently,so when you examine the world ;there is night & day,Black & white, hot & cold , bright and dark ,Happiness & sadness ,Victory & defeat ,freedom & Bondage, success & failure ,peace & war , Birth & death , good & evil ,wealth & poverty ,Wisdom & foolishness,Intelligence and stupidity , strong & weak , civilized & primitive, leader & follower . So as you can see, black & white will always co exist exist to compliment each other. None of these can exist independently, and the physical realm is not meant to be bed of roses.the opposites are necessary in order for the purpose of this realm to be fulfilled, for example ; you have to be in bondage in order to appreciate freedom .even though each both possess their efficiency, one will always appear more superior .

to be continued....

If your psychotic people were not afraid of the black race why do you continue to work overtime to keep us down?

If we are such push overs your govts shouldn't have to finance coup d'etats, drop bombs on our countries and invent HIV aids to try to wipe us out, you would simply leave us to our own devices, but you don't do that, why is that?

Mandela was jailed by your people for 27 years because he was seen as a threat to your racist world order, Lumumba was shot and his corpse burnt with acid to get rid of the evidence, why would you go to such extremes if we are no threat to you.

Without Africa there is no Europe - the entire wealth of Europe was built on our wealth, remember how impoverished and disease infested Europe was until it began to enrich itself from the natural wealth of Africa?

You are a race of parasites, you can not exist without leeching off others, so why pretend as if your wealth came from legitimate hard work and ingenuity? Without the wealth generated from the slave trade the United States would be as poor as many parts of eastern Europe, the buildings, roads and landscape that you marvel at in the United States were all built with African slave labour so what the hell are you talking about?

The only reason that brainwashed scum like you think that white is superior to black is because we live in a racist Eurocentric world order where the European standard of beauty is placed at the top while everything about the black race is denigrated and abused. If we were to live in an Afrocentric world order you and your race would be placed where you belong - at the bottom.

Race is an artificial construct created by your demonic race in order to justify the atrocities that you have committed over centuries, God did not intend for humanity to live the way we currently do, therefore just as the Roman empire was brough to an end when it had run its so course so shall the tenure of white supremacy be brought to an end. In fact there are clear signs that that is already happening, the Chinese have already surpassed the United States in terms of economic dominance, the BRICS nations are becoming economically stronger each day, Africa's day and time will come and I hope you will be alive to see it.

Cap28,

I sincerely commend you for your efforts in trying to educate ignorant Nigerians. You really have the time and patience. I don't. What you need to understand about a lot of Nigerians is that many of them are a bunch of self hating Negros. The average Nigerian residing home or abroad will not give a second thought about throwing you under the bus just to please a non-black person. Yes, the self-hate is REAL. I made a conscious decision not to argue with Nigerians anymore. Hopefully, they will one day realize that no matter how they defend the white race, most white people will never genuinely love them.

Thanks bro.
It's really tragic, the sad thing is that our self hate seems to be getting worse. I've noticed that the Nigerian media has been hijacked by very damaging western influences for example the tv programmes in Nigeria seem to be replicas of what you see in Europe and the US, its as if we no longer have our own culture and values.
I believe that this is what has contributed to most of the self hate that you see in our people today.

Another thing you also have to realize is that many Nigerians are white apologists. You will never see most Nigerians make excuses for Nigerian tribalists like they make excuses for white racists. I dare say that Nigerians are a CANCER to the black race. If we were still on the plantation somewhere, Nigerians will most likely be the first to inform the white slave master about any enslaved black person trying to flee the plantation. I once read on this same site of an america-based Nigerian who invited only white americans to her child's birthday party. They all assured the Nigerian that they were coming but on the day of the event, none of them showed up, lol. Nigerians are good at learning the hard way and the hard way they shall learn. They shall learn that no matter how hard they crave the love of the enemy, the enemy will NEVER love them back.

So true, its nauseating to see how Nigerians behave around whites, the only black people that I see acting with dignity around whites are afrocentric African Americans and Carribean people, but the most subservient blacks are Africans and in particular Nigerians.

I find it absolutely pitiful that these fools bend over backwards to defend their enslavers while these same enslavers reward them by banning them from entering their countries, deporting them, keeping them in abject poverty, aiding and abetting their corrupt leaders and overthrowing any of their leaders who try to implement progressive economic policies that will alleviate their sorry condition - if that is not the height of Stockholm Syndrome I don't know what is.

You need to see they way expatriates treat many Nigerians like shyte on our own soil, lol. This is because non-black people have long figured out that the average Nigerian worships white skin and that they the expatriates will always get away with treating Nigerians like crap in their own country. Most Nigerians are a lost cause Cap28. Allow them to keep worshiping and defending 'massa' while they continue to wallow in abject poverty. You know poverty is a bastard and can cause people to do many things that they would otherwise not do.

The funny thing is that many of these ignoramuses actually look down on African Americans. The same African Americans who fought and continue to fight the brutal system of white supremacy. These s.tupid cowards forget that the only reason many of them are even able to visit, study and live in the US is because the same African Americans that they look upon with contempt actually challenged their corrupt and racist govt. In doing so their govt had to introduce things like affirmative action in order to try and undo years of racial injustice. As a result of this progress many Nigerians are now able to attend decent schools and uplift themselves but are they grateful to the AA's for this - hell no!

Many of these dummys have no idea just how terrible life was for black people in Jim Crow America, this is why I laugh at these fools when they come on here boasting about what they have achieved. It amazes it me at just how shameless they are, how can you brag about what you have achieved when you were not the one who fought for these policies in the first place.

This is why you have to feel nothing but pity for the poster and other id.iots on this forum who say that racism in the US is exaggerated. Tell that to the thousands of African American men languishing in jails all over America while their white counterparts who commit similar offences get off with a slap on the wrist.

These dim witted sambos have no idea just how much the AA's had to go through in order to be even allowed to live as human beings in a society that their ancestors built and died for.

If only these cowardly sambos would have the guts to do in their own countries what the AAs have done in the US.

Lastly, just so you know, that davehull24 guy is a caucasian. I saw you asking for his nationality/race in one of your post and he bluntly dodged the question. They are many like him trolling black forums and looking to ferment trouble just like they do on some black American forums as well.

Gotta go. Take care.

Thanks bro, I knew he couldn't be black, if you read through his posts you will find out that he is a disgusting racist, he has nothing uplifting or positive to say about black people or Nigeria. I have no idea what he is doing on this forum.

Keep living in self-denial. The Chinese were already making use of gunpowder technology in warfare as early as the 13th century.

The biggest enemy of the black man is the black man. Mental weakness is what has left us open time and time again to ra.pe from the white man.

We have not been the only victims of the white mans machinations so why are we the only ones that have failed to pick ourselves up and move on?

Did you watch the video below about the Native American people? Did they pick themselves up after their population was massacred by the Europeans? You are very blinkered and exteremely critical of your own race, why? Many other peoples have fared worse than us, the native americans were almost completely wiped out by the Europeans but we are still very much around and yet you say that we are weak.

Bro you are going round in circles, full of hate and being hypocritical. Apportion the blame where it lies, mostly on we and our fathers.

Are you trying to tell me that if blacks had the machinery (means for circumnavigation and weaponry) the west had then they wouldn't have attempted to conquer less advantaged regions?

Its basic human nature, only thing is that we on the receiving side of this presently. What we need to do now as blacks is understand the system and beat it, not crying all day of what the white man has or hasn't done.

You are programmed to worship whites and hate yourself so I wont blame you. You have no idea how the real world works and you probably know very little of your own history.
Its not basic human nature for people to murder, ra.pe and steal other peoples land and resources its only Europeans who are known for that. The Chinese invented gunpowder but they didn't exploit it and use it as a weapon to invade and conquer other nations again it was the Europeans and that is the only reason why they have amassed so much wealth, everything they have today they stole from others.

How are you going to beat the system when you don't even know who your enemies are , in order to win in this world you have to have a strategy and having a strategy means knowing and understanding why you are in your current predicament, tell me how you are going to win when you keep thinking that the Europeans are your best friends. An ancient Chinese philosopher by the name of Tsun Zu said:

"If you know the enemy and know yourself you need not fear the results of a hundred battles".

You don't know your history and you don't know who your enemies are therefore you have already failed before you've even started.

Who are the native americans and how can you distinguish them from the present day americans?. I have been hearing that phrase for long. But I thought america was discovered by Columbus

They are the indigenous people who inhabited north America, Alaska and Hawaii before the arrival of the Europeans.

This is how they look today:

So the atrocities the Fulani committed in Northern Nigeria, killing and all sorts are excusable because they are Africans too? Damn.... the level of your thinking......

Of course not, but i am yet to hear you condemn the atrocities committed by European slave traders against the millions of your ancestors who died in the transatlantic crossing. Millions died of disease and suffocation, many threw themselves overboard and many more were thrown overboard by the ship's crew in order for them to claim insurance payouts -were you aware of this? undecided

The Fulani also stole land in Nigeria too. Over the years, you've proven to be one who antagonise the white without apportioning due blame on black people
It's human nature to exploit his fellow man, when he has the power to, that's the truth. The white did it in the past, and the Nigerian elite is doing same today. That is one truth you must know.
Freedom is never given just like that. It is collected by force. So, what are black people doing to emancipate themselves?

Are the Fulani not Africans? How can you compare a European who left his own continent and went all the way to North America, committed genocide on the natives there, went to West Africa and shipped millions of your ancestors across the atlantic ocean, worked the ones who survived the traumatic and subhuman conditions on slave ships to death in terrible subhuman conditions on plantations to a group of Fulani who were fighting internecine wars on their own continent?

You negros will never cease to amaze me with your undying love and devotion to a race of people who hate you.

Mr Davehull24, i couldn't give a rat's arse about some mountain in LA, you know why, because the entire land of North America was stolen from the native americans by the blood thirsty, savage descendants of cave dwellers, why should i care about land that has no cultural significance to me or my life.

What you are doing is not valuing history but rather hanging to it as an excuse/justification/alibi for present day lethargy.
The quote is "A man who does not LEARN from his history.
You see learning goes beyond valuing. It is about knowing how far people moved/progressed in the past to encourage movement into the future. Big difference.
For example, if one understands that our African ancestors moved from using stones to iron for cutting things, then one can be inspired to improve on what one has today, not so

No the quote is " A man who does not KNOW his history is doomed to repeat it"

But for the sake of argument lets say its LEARN - You don't even want to learn about our past, you see it as a waste of time, which is why you will never learn from your mistakes. If you were interested in the past you would know that Europeans are the root cause of the problems we are having today, but you don't even want to acknowledge let alone accept that basic fact, all you do is make excuses for the destruction that was meted out on us by them.

But the Chinese aligned with the West to develop to where they are today, not so
Do we know the sacrifices they made to come so far?
Are we ready to make similar sacrifice to forge ahead?

The Chinese are not aligned to the west in the same way that we are aligned to the west. The Chinese control their own destiny and are not economically controlled by US run financial institutions.

China would also enslave you if they had the power(it's human nature. Even the Americo Liberian slave returnees enslaved their fellow blacks).why depend on anyone at all? Why can't black Africans love one another and build organized societies?anyway Mr Cap28(maybe cap 32 by now),I think you are too serious.this thread is about travel and nature, not politics.

China is more interested in trade and business while Europe and America are imperialists who would rather enslave Africans economically by way of the IMF and the world bank.
The American Liberian returnees were agents of the white racist structure in the US and worked to further the interests of the American Firestone rubber company - look it up.

No man is an island, unless you are militarily and economically able to stand on your own two feet you have to forge alliances with other nations if you want to survive - that is a fact. You sound like an idealist, in the real world love does not guarantee your survival. Do european nations love each other? Nations simply co-operate with each other and relationships are based on economic interests not "love". Correct me if im wrong but didn't the op bring up the issue of racism being exaggerated in the US, if that's not a serious issue i don't know what is.

No.
The parent is a black person also who is concerned about the FAILURE of his group/child that keeps blabbing about some old, lost glory that he did not research himself and does not even have the technology to even keep/maintain the monuments and artifacts angry
Quite useless, not so

So valuing your history is "blabbing about your lost glory" smdh! Ever heard the quote: a man who does not know his history is doomed to repeat it?

Are you aware that on many western tv stations they dedicate entire channels to documentaries about their history - why do you think they do this?- are these countries using these documentaries to "blabb about their lost glory"

Ive learnt so much about british history from just watching their history channel and i find these documentaries highly educational, i also realise the function of these documentaries - they instill nationalistic pride in the minds of the british people and promote unity and cohesiveness, something that is drastically lacking in Nigeria.

You make me laugh seriously with your perpetual victim mentality that leads nowhere grin grin

But just to indulge you, how do you think we can develop as Africans/black people given the scenario you painted with the limitations enumerated and the "conspiracy" of the US and Europe to prevent our economic success- something they did not/ could not do for the Chinese, Indians, Koreans, Japanese etc cheesy cheesy

Were you also laughing when Libya and Ivory Coast were bombed by NATO or are you so removed from reality that you think that its impossible for the same thing to happen to Nigeria.

The only way we have a chance to develop is if we forge closer ties to China anything short of that will mean that we must remain on the IMF world bank plantation which has already condemned 80% of our population to a life of endless misery and suffering.

How do you think a parent will feel if his child in secondary school is carrying LAST in the class and each time he reminds his parent how he used to pass very well in primary one shocked

Is that not parallel to what you are saying?

I am not self loathing otherwise I will not be keen about realistically discussing how to improve our lot with the necessary individual and group sacrifice to be out of our seemingly ermanent scumbag status, not so

Who is the parent in this scenario? I hope its not the white man who has orchestrated all of our current problems
The world we live in is not as black and white as you see it.

Just having the desire to progress is not enough, you have to have the military might to protect yourself from your enemies, its not enough for us as a nation so say ok lets industrialise or lets diversify our economy, we have to be able to prevent our country from being overrun by our enemies and right now we are not in a position to protect ourselves. So even if we decided to kick out the multinationals from Nigeria and overhaul our entire socio economic structure we would be earmarked for destruction by the US and Europe as their economic success is dependant on our economic failure.
