Pursuing someone you love and do not love you back or even show signs of hope, then it equals to ‘heartbreak.

Some people might take time to fall in love and judging them for not falling for you is wrong.

Many people fail to call it quits to people ‘mistreating’ them because of opening up of liking someone. But yo can really do away with such people if you do not want stress.

Here is a list of ways that can help you stop loving people who do not love you.

1.Accept the fact

When you love someone who doesn’t love you back, it hurts. It turns out that “heartbreak” is a very real physical sensation.

This can cause depression which has been rated as the top thing making youths commit suicide in Kenya.

2. Take time off and grieve

There’s nothing wrong with having to grieve, as long as you don’t get stuck there. In fact, it’s healthier to let yourself be sad than it is to try to suppress those emotions

3. Recognize that you can’t control them

Your immediate reaction to learning that the other person doesn’t love you in the way you love them may be to think, “I will make them love me!”

For ladies, this is always a turn off when a man forces you to accept their ways of doing things.

4. Give them space

Give them some space. Let them realise that you are not be gging them to be with you.

In this way, you will realise that you are stronger than you thought.

5. Realize you are better off

It doesn’t matter how great the person is, if s/he doesn’t love you, you could not be happy with that person. It’s very easy to idealize someone, especially if you have invested a lot of energy in falling in love with them.

6. Avoid blame games

Just as you have no control over falling in love with this person, s/he has no control over not falling in love with you.

If you go around blaming him or her for “friend-zoning” you or thinking s/he’s a terrible person for not loving you, you’re being unfair to the other person.

The Osun State Government has directed its ministries , departments and agencies to immediately implement the report of the panel that recommended sacking of the workers who secured employment with forged certificates .
The Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress in the state , Jacob Adekomi , confirmed that 422 workers would be affected .
He said the NLC ’s intervention helped to reduce the number of those listed for the exit door from 5 ,000 recommended to 422 .
A statement by the Head of Service , Dr Festus Oyebade , dated September 13 said the immediate past Rauf Aregbesola government engaged the services of a firm, Captain Consulting , to undertake to verify the certificates of all civil servants in the state in 2015 .
The statement read , “The panel submitted its report and it was adopted for implementation by the immediate past administration .
“However , when the new administration came on board in November 2018, the leadership of Organised Labour Movement in the state appealed passionately to the state government to have a rethink on the implementation of the report .
“After much pressure from labour, the government set up a five - man panel to further examine the report and make necessary recommendations in line with extant public service rules and regulations . ”
Adekomi said labour was involved in the verification from the beginning , adding that the NLC insisted that the report and recommendations be reviewed because it was convinced that the recommendations of the firm was not a true reflection of the audit .
“When the report was reviewed , only 422 civil servants, whose cases were beyond us due to the rules of the service , will be affected .
“But we interceded for the affected officers to ensure that they were not prosecuted or even made to refund the money they earned during their stay in service ,” he said .

Tears flowed , tributes poured in as the remains of Prof Gideon Okedayo of the Department of Mathematics , Ondo State University of Science and Technology , Okitipupa , were buried at his residence in Idepe , Okitipupa , Okitipupa Local Government Area of the state , on Saturday .
Okedayo , who was a Redeemed Christian Church of God pastor , was allegedly killed by bandits after kidnapping him in Edo State on September 5.
His decomposing body was discovered last week in a bush where his abductors kept him .
The funeral service was attended by family, friends, OSUSTECH workers and his church members .
In his sermon , the pastor in charge of Ondo Province 5 of RCCG , Johnson Umoren , describing the deceased as a committed man of God.
He said , “We should not mourn like those without hope . We are very sure he is resting with the Lord . You must summon courage to forge ahead and continue where he has stopped . This I know will gladden his heart .”
The cleric urged the government to improve security in the country .
Marrietta , wife of the slain lecturer , said her husband spoke the truth at all times and acted fearlessly.
She said , “Without ambiguity , you were a man of great finesse , industry and a lover of people .
“You were a devout Christian and a pastor indeed who lived an exemplary life which I am still emulating till this very moment. You were a great disciplinarian, a father and a mentor . You were a genius with no match , but Nigeria did not protect you.”
OSUSTECH Vice- Chancellor , Prof Sunday Ogunduyile , called for the government to urgently check insecurity in the country .
He said Okedayo ’s death came as a rude shock to the university community .
The VC said , “We will miss him as a great and unforgettable friend, worker , as the Dean of the emerging postgraduate school , a former head of department of mathematics , who worked assiduously along with others . His dedication to the growth of OSUSTECH and his community will remain indelible forever .”
