na everything be waste of money? Go to harare, capital of zimbabwe and see how their capital is being designed in 3D even when the country is freaking broke! Go to Durban, jo'burg, Cape town in south africa, this cities are the pride of this african nation, yet when the FCTA try to make use of funds given to them rather than loot as usual we shout blue murder and waste of public funds, yet we envy other nations capital! Some will come here now and shout "and ASUU is still on strike" as if it is the Fct administration that is supposed to pay ASUU. Nigerians are really hard to please.

PoliticsRe: National Conference:Goodluck Jonathan's Plot To Secede From Nigeria by Capnd143(m): 7:58pm On Oct 10, 2013
Donmams: As the race for 2015 heats up, GEJ is finding himself increasingly alienated from the North and South West:two key voting blocs for any aspirant.
It is becoming clearer to GEJ that he may not be able to clinch the PDP ticket in 2015 and is poised to secede and form a new country out of the South South.

Interestingly, GEJ has no plans to include the South East in his secession plans because of the South East's superior population figures.

GEJ is well aware that if he loses his bid for reelection, not only does he stand to lose power, but his freedom as well. His political advisers have informed him that it is more than likely the APC will field General Muhammadu Buhari as its Presidential candidate. GEJ is very much aware that General Buhari will waste no time prosecuting him for all of his offences while in Office should GEJ be unable to rig the elections in favour of the PDP in 2015.

GEJ's advisers are of the opinion that should the worst happen and the APC, cum General Buhari win the forthcoming elections in 2014, then he'll have no choice but to secede and continue as life president for the Niger Delta, thus evading possible prosecution.

It is towards this end that GEJ surprised the whole world by announcing on Independence Day, the setting up of the committee on National Conference.

With GEJ facing critical battles on many fronts, it is all or nothing for perhaps the future President of the Niger Delta.

The proposed National Conference is meant to promote the idea of autonomous regions having 100% resource control. It is expected that the north will oppose the idea of autonomous regions because of its weak financial state. The confusion and anarchy that will ensue is expected to provide GEJ with the cover he needs to break the Niger Delta away from the rest of the country. Simultaneously, the SE is also expected to declare a Sovereign state of Biafra.

GEJ'S closest advisers believe the north and South West has been weakened militarily and therefore cannot mount a military campaign to return both the Niger Delta and Biafran Republics back into Nigeria.

In order to gain international sympathy for their secession plans, the GEJ gov't intends to use the conference to provide legitimacy to their plans.

One thing is clear, as long as Nigerians reject Goodluck Jonathan at the polls, he is determined to ensure the end of Nigeria as we know it today.
are u actually stupid by default? Or you have foolishness as a talent?

BusinessRe: Harvard Business Article Praising Dangote's Oil Refinery by Capnd143(m): 10:21am On Sep 13, 2013
i strongly believe there should be a business module forged from dangote's business ideosyncrasies, his business strategy is unique, bank-breaking and risky, yet popular and profitable - where Western investors shy away from due mainly to security and lack of market information is where Dangote swims in, places like IRAQ, TANZANIA, SUDAN, the middle east, and north africa where there is a volatile political environment and high perception of insecurity which might not necessarily be true is where Dangote pumps his wealth into, and most importantly in sectors where westerners fear to trade, it is no news that trying to build and oil refinery is perhaps the business with thd most dreaded political opposition due to industrial lobbyist, but coincidentally thats the Sector Mr.DANGOTE CHOSES TO SWIM IN. Well i call "The Dangote business Module".
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Partners Russia To build A Nuclear Power Station! by Capnd143(m): 7:36pm On Sep 08, 2013
Some nairalanders are just plain and undiluted fo..ols. . .! Everyday we talk of medical tourism, how cam nigeria as a country achieve it full medical/health potential if has no nuclear plant that produces nuclear isotopes for medical treatment of cancer, etc we talk of having a strong defense industry, how can we achieve this without going nuclear, how can we manage nuclear powered submarines, jets etc without going nuclear, we talk of having 24/7 power is it a crime to think out of the bow and go nuclear 4 power? SMH for some nigerians
PoliticsRe: Army Five-Star Hotel Under-construction In Enugu by Capnd143(m): 1:01pm On Sep 08, 2013
bloggernaija: Army building an hotel?
Jesus Christ.
What a confused country.
i hav never said this to anyone in nairaland bt its official, you are a big fo..ol! Whats wrong with the army building a five start and handing it over to private corp to close its huge funding gap/deficit? You guys leverage every opportunity to spew rubbish born out of abject ignorance and totally misguided ideosyncrasies! Go to united arab emirates, saudi arabia, the army owns and manages oil wells, business and this is their alternative source of funding, go to korea the army build roads for cash, own construction companies to increase defense budget, go to china and you would see the same, nigeria army is trying to leverage such ideas to bridge the funding gaps especially in this period of intense defense spending and war against terror and all a freaking blogger can say is "confused country?" .... well you may not be far from the truth because its people like you that causes confusion in our dear litle republic.

Here is what she wrote:

AN OPEN LETTER TO NIGERIANS:

If I were President--By Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo #ISLAM will be BANNED in Nigeria! All CHURCHES will be BURNED down #CHRISTIANITY will be illegal! Religion is an absolute disease that has killed our country! Nigerians are too busy hating on one another they are destroying themselves--WITH RELIGION!

PoliticsRe: Nigeria To Deploy Soldiers For Peace-Keeping In Liberia- Army by Capnd143(m): 12:11pm On Sep 07, 2013
They way some nairalanders spew unreasonable trash is hilarious! The current nigerian army strength stands at 120,000+ troops, backed up by men of the Directorate of state security(SSS), Navy SBS and AirFORCE infantry men, deploying just a battalion doesnt take anything from the war in the NorthEast considering there are over 30 battalions of troops in the Statae of Emergency Zones.
