Christianity EtcRe: Why Do Most Churches Make It Mandatory For Women To Cover Their Hair In Church? by Caracta(f): 8:57am On Jan 18, 2015
Well...my church doesn't condemn it. But I won't leave my hair uncovered inside a church. It's all about your personal faith. I don't care if I'm the only person with a covered hair. I always cover my hair even when my folks don't.

And please don't forget to take pictures with DJ.

Alternate monikers everywhere.

Hian.

And while we are throwing shots please lets be direct.

Meanwhile, TEHN...what's the way forward while we wait for NY? We can't afford a trip to India and chemotherapy was already suggested by them, right? We have to do something. What do the doctors working offline think, especially the Nairaland doctor? Is he still on medications?

Please provide us with updates as soon as you have them. God bless your effort. God bless you real good.
HealthRe: RIP DJDOLA- We Will Miss You by Caracta(f): 6:49pm On Jan 17, 2015
A neighbour whose face we don't know not even by the fake profile picture came here to pronounce whatever and cause chaos.

We asked for mail...nothing. Your photo strikes no resemblance to DJ (your neighbour). Post what you have here...nothing.

It's easy to believe anything sha. Let's wait for Monday. Let's see the outcome of the supposed visit. The host will receive you well.

Still waiting for the mail or to tell us what you know here. You don't just pronounce the days somebody has left to live. Something must have prompted you. Pls share with us so we can learn.

like I promised monday is the day and have not really hear them say what I want to say.so am trying to fuell my engine for monday to tell u guys d koko.am going to c him next week.so all badhers and haters get ready.
Hello ma'am. Thanks for your concern. At least now we have an update. I know you are concerned about your neighbour but you seem to have information we don't.

I live in Lagos and I'm quite familiar with the case. Would you be kind enough to reply my mail so we can start looking towards your direction as well? Perhaps that would help DJ as well. We all want him to get better. That's why we are here.

As far as I know, none of the doctors have given him how much time he has left and others that have seen him are hopeful INCLUDING ME.

Please help us here. What do you think we haven't seen but you can see? A tree doesn't make a forest. We have a serious situation on our hands and I'm seriously pained by the results.

Kindly reply my mail. Or you can go ahead and open it all here so everybody can be in the know, as long as it won't affect DJ.

But who won't take umbrage at someone second guessing my motives, hinting at foul play, throwing false accusations and vague implications?
This is the first contest I've ever organised/participated in, I've even bent over backwards so as to accommodate popular demand... then some fellow walks in and makes a sweeping generalization - nl contest rules are always refined.
Honestly Caracta, that got my goat.
Shuuush! It's ok now. I mean it!

Haba, calm down na, no say am like that. If I did not win this challenge, then u can say 'hey buddy, u lost this challenge. Better luck next time.'
Lol, telling someone that 'there are no winners or losers is even making it more painful for the person that lost. What of the winner ko? Did he not win abi wetin?
My dear, it happens, there are losers and winners in this competition
Your opinion...i respect that. We all see life differently. To me, there is no winner or loser.

Whatever present the winner gets is mostly measured in material items...things that could fade, die or become irrelevant. I'd rather place value on what is irreplaceable...the lesson I learnt from the experience.

Again, it's your opinion and what you believe in. No qualms.

Hehehehe, omo, there are winners and losers in a competition ooo. Don't believe that thing they use to tell us.
That means you are a loser if you don't win this competition?

That's a sorry case...
LiteratureRe: About Whitey's Flash Fiction Challenge *comment Thread* by Caracta(f): 5:44pm On Jan 16, 2015
Easy now whitemosquito.

Reviews should come later on...i think.

Let the judges decide.

Each entry can be reviewed (if possible). I believe the aim of the competition is to learn and develop the writing skill.

There is no winner. There is no loser. There should be an outline of rules flouted and the reason(s) the contestant didn't (or did) get the prize. I believe the judges can handle that pretty well (with constructive criticisms).

It's ok sweetheart. You've done well. Sheathe your sword and breathe easy.

Good job everyone.

FamilyRe: Revive The Habit Of Self-sufficiency- For Every Nigerian Woman/girl by Caracta(f): 7:10am On Jan 15, 2015
You guys should give Nigerian women some credit na.

I still don't get the issue of majority being dependent on men. Some men even get intimidated when they see women soaring high. I go out every morning to see women struggle for a bus to their workplace as early as 5am...just like men. Coupled with the fact that they are mothers or daughters to someone.

That NL boys cry about something doesn't make it real.

There are many hardworking women in this country. Once in a while, give us some credit and let the condemnation in the sight of the world stop.

Of course, it has to be beyond your reasoning. It's totally beyond you. I'm relaxed. You should stop seeking for attention when you can tweet at Buhari's daughter.
