RomanceRe: If You Are Looking For A Wife, Come & Marry Me - Nigerian Lady (Photos) by Cardilac2323: 10:26am On Jan 19, 2022
MrBrownJay1:
question we need to ask IS: is it really that difficult for a "seemingly" good looking humble espectful intelligent hardworking woman to get a man to date her, let alone marry her, in Nigeria... that they now need to beg online like that?!?!?

no wonder Nigeria is doom, some broke legged donkey will then answer this ad and marry this fine DESPERATE babe... then turn around and treat her like garbeg (since she lowered herself like that), all because of "wanting to be called Mrs somebody at any cost".

BTW if she was indeed "intelligent" and all that then she wouldnt need to advertise online to get a man...tell us what you are hiding sista.
Lol, see questions, don't u know that getting a ready man to settle down with a woman in a Nigeria is really difficult. The economy has made that impossible, that's why our women are not left unmarried and resort to begging for any available man

PoliticsRe: Nigeria; A Country Of Doom! by Cardilac2323: 9:33am On Jan 19, 2022
kosovo:
Nigeria is a multi ethnic and multi diverse country with a population of over 140 million people and a literacy rate of less than 48%. The self acclaimed giant of Africa lead by an indecisive president.
Rated among the poorest and most corrupt nations despite the abundance of invaluable natural resources. A country where nepotism, tribalism, ethnocentrism and political jingoism are the order of the day.
We spent billions making and launching NIGCOMSAT1 yet it has yielded 0% to the nation building, meanwhile NIGCOMSAT2 is on is way for launch some where around 2009, funds that could arguable be described as wasted!
Build and maintain a NUCLEAR POWER STATION in Nigeria? Huh? I laugh in pidgin.
A country that has $60 billion foreign reserve yet people live under $1 dollar a day.  $240 million daily from excess crude which cannot be accounted for. N5 million furniture allowance for nation assembly members while the teachers who play a very important role in a nation cannot have an exclusive salary structure. NTA the self acclaimed largest TV network in Africa which can barely provide news on other Africa nations……,   Curtsey SABC, that’s what we always hear. Graduates waste a full year all in the name of NYSC, at the end the outcome is UNEMPLOYMENT.

Listen;
I was going to see a friend and something happened………

POLICE: hey stop there open that bag, I think na una dey do YAHOO! YAHOO!

SELF: I cannot open my bag unless you show me your warrant of arrest or search.
(other police men came and forcefully collected my bag opened it and saw my laptop and books, switched on my laptop and did some Radom searching. I think he saw nothing implicating, and all my confidential files were coded somewhere. Cheers. )

POLICE: na me u dey speak gramma for abi,  which mailer u dey use? Even if u nor dey do YAHOO! I know say u get boys. My boys na multicalos them dey go, police nor dey near there.

SELF: I am completely unaware of what you are talking about, you saw my book  right ? I am a cisco network associate.
( he took my wallet and my phone, scrolled down my phone book, opend my wallet saw two atm cards and one master card. He smiled and said oya make we go atm go collect money N80000 otherwise na station u dey go.

POLICE: were u see money take buy laptop and this kind phone? If u nor be G boy? Oya make we dey go station.

SELF: how I got my laptop and phone is absolutely none of your business, we re going to the station right? I am not moved, lets GO!,  conversation continued until we got almost to the station.

LOL , as we approached the station he pulled over and told me to go, saying I was too storbun, as I was leaving, he called me and said abeg make I find am small thing, I looked at his miserable life and gave him N1000. And off they went chanting.
I went back home without achieving anything and frustrated, rather wasting money on some bunch of miscreant and these were the people that were meant to protect lives and properties.

So was I WRONG to call Nigeria a country of doom!, A country where no SYSTEM WORKS.?
My country is not and can never be doomed. Rephrase your statement make your life for better

PoliticsRe: What Will Be The Situation Of Things After Tinubu Presidency by Cardilac2323: 7:39pm On Jan 18, 2022
For equity, fairness and balance, the president should be a Christian. But if APC decide to field Tinubu a Muslim and his vice from the north a Muslim, it means PDP will do the spoiler. This is how... PDP will wait for APC to have their primaries first, if Tinubu emerges PDP will head north for its candidate, but if any other candidate of Christian faith emerges PDP will revert to the south. For now pdp are only waiting to see what becomes of the apc primaries in the coming months

PoliticsRe: 2023: Sanwo-Olu Drums Support For Pro-Tinubu Movement by Cardilac2323: 8:38pm On Oct 07, 2021
Truth be told, the Yoruba kind of politics is similar in nature to that of the hausa/fulani. Once a choice is made, everyone rally round that particular choice and ensure he get the desired acceptance. That is how it should be in our kind of politics.
My Igbo ppl will rather choose to kill themselves than present a consensus candidate....but why?

PoliticsRe: No Peace In South East Despite Our Departure -Miyetti Allah by Cardilac2323: 5:09pm On Oct 05, 2021
I have finally joined the nairaland forum today after many years of reading funny comments trailed by abuses, bashing and what have you.
Anyway, I am from the north central of northern Nigeria. I have always wanted to join this forum for long, but each attempt I made at registering I get declined one way or the other which I can't explain. But finally am here.
I must confess that this is the most abusive forum I have ever seen, people rain abuses on one another as if we are not of same country. People abuse leadership, abuse themselves with recklessness. What has happened to our sense of morality, dignity and love, we threw all that away and engage in things that will further divide us as a people. The holy books which we drew wisdom from admonish us to pray for leaders and leadership when things are not going the way we expect it to go through their bad leadership, whether intentional or not, we should pray for them. Instead we get reactional with tantrums and negative insults on them.
We need to change because in one way or the other every one of us will be held to accounts by his or her deeds.
I also discovered that the Igbos and Yorubas on this forum exhibit a very dangerous hatred for themselves, you abuse your selves and abuse your leaders, this will not take u people and your region anyway, no matter how the north seems to be backward in some aspect of endeavours, that unity is what has kept it relevant, the people of the south must learn to emulate that. I can understand that the south are divide by ethnicity and cultural differences unlike in the North wer such is scarcely present, but you guys can come together and workout the best way to manage situations and on how to leave harmoniously.
Fighting yourself won't be the solution to the things happening around the region or passing of bucks. Mind you, I am not exoneration the north or saying that the note doesn't have its own challenges, but they have in a little way find some kind of solutions to it which I urge the south to do same.
I pray that things workout for every region and God bless Nigeria
