Depending on the town she lives in a distributorship with a F.M.C.G company may be your best bet. As stated above all she needs is a salesgirl and since the products are tangible and can be counted on a regular basis one can say that the possibility of pilfering will be reduced to a bare minimum.

This is a good model for an old Mama. I know because I just set up one for my mum last December and it works beautifully well and very zero stress. The only problem is that the ROI is quite pedestrian but so what. She is happy and makes about 10% of the invested funds every month.

I really couldn't ask for more.

what's the qualification?

In your shoes I would just send in a properly worded cover letter and a comprehensive resume. The qualifications wouldn't matter as the recruiting company should be convinced with my experience where my qualifications are not up to specification.

Get excited and write a darned good introductory letter stating in clear terms why you are the preferred candidate for the position in question.

And then leave the rest.

There is contract Sales position for Kaduna.

The preferred candidate will be hired for a fixed term of three months and it is renewable after the first cycle based on performance.

There is an option for confirmation after 6 months after an objective appraisal has revealed peak level performance.

Candidates with some knowledge of the FMCG segment of the economy stand an advantage.

I also notice that the centre of gravity is quite low.

Hello House, I have a 2004 Nissan Pathfinder 3.5 that I have been using optimally for the last four years.

It has worked very well over the years and I was quite satisfied with the car until late last year when it developed some kind of noise underneath the hood. Several attempts have been made to rectify this problem but to avail. First thing was to conduct a scan undertaken by a supposedly very reasonable mechanic who used to work for a very reputable world class garage here in Lagos. He inferred that the problem was the ECU and then he took it away and just kept the car and after repeated stories and 100k he returned the car worse than when he took it away. He then advised me to drive it that it would correct itself after a few miles.

I got another mechanic recommended by a Nairalander here on this platform and he also came and took his own slice of the National cake and left without providing a solution. It appears that that most of them seem to point accusing fingers at the ECU/Brain box and sometimes the transmission.

Is there anyone in the house who has experienced this kind of problem and is willing to recommend someone proficient and experienced enough to solve this problem permanently?

I am at my wits end and considering if actually there might not just be some sense in the allegation that my village people are trying to do me in?

I need only genuine recommendations.

Well if you cannot drive but your experience and passion for sales can translate into sales that can pay for a driver, I don't see why you can not be considered. I speak my mind here and it is no way the decision of the client.

As regards the qualification I can only say that in the majority of cases performance transcends training, qualification and experience in administering rewards. This case should not be different. I strongly advise that you apply.

Please in your cover letter do include your deficiencies (lack of driving skills and inadequate academic qualifications) but sell like and advantage rather than mention it apologetically.

For instance your living around the office can be presented as a major advantage as it can even ensure commitment and punctuality..
