If CAF rule of removing points accrued from bottom teams stand... South Africa Will be replaced top of table by Nigeria.
South Africa 4 points deducted (for beating Zimbabwe) 18 - 4 = 14 points.
Nigeria 2 points deducted (2 draws against Zimbabwe) 17 - 2 = 15 points.
Let's see what happens about the CAF memo...🚶🏿♂️

SOSPITAS: Sapele is very similar. In the 90s we had eternit, flour mill, ATP, BATA, mayflower, power generating company, a mini seaport, cinema at Olympia, athletic club with a standard golf course and several others. But today, none of that exist. The only company there is seplat(and there are indications that the intend to move operational base away). Insecurity had increase because of no job, na everyday dem dey kidnap person. All the beautiful estate built in those days done cast, infact, sapele na dead zone now. Exactly my thoughts..wanted to write same |

greatiyk4u: Are you scared of losing your job? Don't be, The MOU Soludo signed with EEDC to give part of Anambra state steady light, and the resultant purchase and deployment of 500,000 prepaid meters for Anambra customers are part of the mechanism in place to avert the bank takeover
However, with the current power vested on state Governments to generate, transmit and distribute electricity, the monopoly has been broken, and know that it will be difficult for EEDC with insincere management and board teams to compete and remain afloat in the business with all these there fear of investing in operational materials to improve quality of supply and minimize technical losses..........this is the one major reason for corruption among the field workers and this advice had been communicated severely to the right quarters to no avail........
If this challenge of yours was coming from a top management staff, I would have gotten angry and act accordingly but heck, you are not in the mainstream equation
Shalom as you keep growing and progressing in your career WHAT YOU SAID ABOUT EEDC DEY WAN HAPPEN TO AEDC. UBA to sell Abuja Disco over $122m debt 7th April 2023 United Bank for Africa By Oluwakemi Abimbola The United Bank for Africa has revealed plans to sell the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company to recover a $122m debt the Disco is owing it. The lender had in December 2021 taken over the disco following the government’s approval. The plan to sell was revealed at the bank’s audited 2022 results conference call (strategic review and outlook). In December 2021, UBA took over AEDC over the inability of its major stakeholder, Kann Consortium, to service the $122m debt owed to the bank. Kann Consortium secured a loan from UBA to acquire AEDC in 2013, making it to hold a 60 per cent stake in the Disco. According to Bloomberg, the Executive Director, Risk Management and Finance, Ugochukwu Nwaghodoh, said that discussion about the sale of the Disco was at an advanced level. Nwaghodoh was quoted as saying, “We are at advanced stage of discussion towards disposal and we believe that in the course of this year that will be totally consummated and we will be done with the full realisation of that asset.” The takeover of the disco was a major loan default in the power sector privatisation drive of the Nigerian government. Providing explanations on what led to the changes in the ownership structure and management at the AEDC, the Minister of Power, Abubakar Aliyu, as of December 2021, said the takeover of the Disco by the bank had to happen. He said, “The AEDC has, of recent, been facing significant operational challenges arising from a dispute between the core investors (KANN Consortium) as owners of 60 per cent equity in the AEDC and UBA as lenders for the acquisition for the majority shareholding in the public utility. “The situation has currently deteriorated due to a lack of access to intervention finances leading to a point whereby legitimate entitlements of the staff are being owed thus leading to service disruptions on December 6, 2021 within its franchise area. Aliyu added, “The UBA, as a lender, and in exercising its rights over the shares of KANN Consortium in the AEDC, has taken over the shares of the obligor in the AEDC. This takeover of the majority stake in the AEDC by UBA has consequently led to the reported changes in the management of the AEDC.” He said the changes in shareholding in the AEDC and the appointment of interim management for the Disco by the shareholders had been endorsed by the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission and the Bureau of Public Enterprises (as co-shareholders in the AEDC). The AEDC is the licensed utility that serves end-use electricity customers in Kogi, Nasarawa, Niger States and the Federal Capital Territory. |

emmybobo1: Oga will just keep quiet. The power reaching gencos is what they distribute. Typing out of gross ignorance. Why not just learn than defending foolishness You just displayed your high level ignorance of the subject matter..That was why I said..if you don't gerrit. don't reply what you don't know.WHICH POWER IS REACHING GENCO?.. DID DEY TELL YOU THAT GENCO DISTRIBUTE. You are so bereft of simple knowledge this energy is not stored somewhere. It's is load dependent. YOUR FOOLISHNESS IS CLEAR TO ALL ASUNDRY and I will ignore you as others did because you are talking nonsensical crinkum crakum and higi haga. |

uniquetechng: Even when Femi made it clear that transmission is the major problem you still think distribution is ? FG is in charge of transmission and wasn't privatized by anybody, get your facts right . Transmission is not singularly the problem..Understand the facts right. IS IT NOT WHAT DISTRIBUTION WANTS THAT TRANSMISSION WILL GIVE THEM..Distribution is not picking enough load or not declaring to pick load that will put pressure on the Transmission hence, Transmission is not loading the generation on the grid. YOU ALL LOOK BUT SEE DIFFERENTLY.THE KEY IS PERCEPTION. DISTRIBUTION is the problem if only you understand Nigeria electricity chain, others in the value chain are doing significant upgrades and investments except the distribution which is under capitalised..common metering of customer's, sanitisation and ugrade of network so as to reduce ATC&C losses is still a problem. ALSO THE TARRIF for the disco they say is just nor favourably. IN conclusion.Generation and Transmission are making gaint quantum leaps and generation dey back they crawl like snail and na them go use wetin generator produce and Transmission transmit to them give us the customers. Why can't generation pick more than 5000MW consistently and see if Transmission can't give them first. Transmission is not the major problem.Hope you gerrit. If you don't gerrit..forget about it. |

What a unique way to propose to one's heart and lover ❤ ♥ . She was told by her friend that she fainted and she rushed to the hotel that her friend was and didn't code that when one faints, he or she is is supposed to be rushed to the hospital. On getting there she was led to a different room that was not prepared with the WILL YOU MARRY ME PAPARAZI.She was surprised first of all..
To cut the long story short, she was led to the arranged room to meet one of the special and lovely question to be asked pasted on the wall and dramatised with a gentleman on one of his knees on the ground ❤ and with a ring ❤ in the air..the rest was history as one of her fingers collected something Monadikous and Thisavroused. EngrKik: I have been contacting people who work with the TCN and are in the know of things, about any update concerning this recruitment. Nothing concrete yet. What they only confirmed to me are: 1. Successful candidate can be contacted anytime soon. 2. There was a general poor performance in the interview. 3. They really need more staffs (so it’s very very likely they’ll recruit more than earlier announced). 4. People with power sector experience and those with professional certifications have upper hands. Good to hear this.As someone earlier said the countdown continues even after October ends today as it will surely end in praise. To add to EngrKik post FCC has already given them Certificate of Compliance and na for us to come do documentation in days coming as APL will soon drop ooo.Glory to God in all and for all. |
