Useless Nigerian Battasar. A 76 yr old man who's close to his grave who should be close to his creator at this stage is trying to leave an ugly legacy behind. He's embarrassing his children.

The complainant (name withheld) however, stated that she had merely taken a selfie with the defendant and had no affair with him.

sorry about your condition and I wish y'all easy life ahead . You sound experienced with this defect . Pls I have a few questions to ask .
1. What is the name of the disease
2. What are the causes of such defect
3. What are the symptoms you experienced before it fully started .

I am asking this questions so I/ we can learn and be aware of such things and also watch out for ourselves and protect our eyes

I can do more research when I get the name . Thanks blad
The background: I realized I wasn't fine sometimes in 2003 when I noticed everyone walking in the sun had their faces straight, but I couldn't do that without squeezing my face to be able help my eyes to absorb the rays coming from the sun.

This continued and I was just managing it until 2010, one afternoon, I was coming from Friday prayer, walking in the sun, I felt some kind of charging pain in my eyes, it felt like swords were being pointed at my head - that feeling you have when sharp objects come towards your body - in this case, it was around my head and eyes I felt this reaction. I managed to get under a shade, I went home and I spoke to my brother. Though he's always noticed I don't like light and hated to be close to the TV. He's hypochondriac. He quickly arranged for me to visit the eye center in Kaduna. That was the beginning of my journey.

Though before this time, I visited the sickbay in my school, and I was advised to embrace glasses or dark shades to protect my eyes, I didn't heed the advice because I hated the idea of being permanently put under glasses.

When it reached that level, I had to adopt usage of glasses and I can tell you I'm going to use that for the rest of my life, except a miracle happens.

In fact, there was no unit in that eye center that I wasn't taken to, you know them, las las, den go give you long appointment to see if it improves. I went to Thelish too and other places.

The advice I got is; protect your eyes from what they hate. I have my recommended glasses, I have the one for driving at night, I have my rayban dark shades, many face-caps and "jungle hat"... If I'm in the sun, I'm seriously protected. I learnt my body doesn't like sun too. Maybe that's what the eyes are interpreting in their own ways.

The name of the condition is Extreme photosensitivity or photophobia.

The cause is not easily known - some develop after surgery to the eyes.

I haven't seen a cure and I haven't seen unified agreement on its causes. If you find in the course of your research, let me know.

Foreign Affairs › Re: France Furious Over Diplomats Detained In Jerusalem During State Visit by Caseless: 12:16pm On Nov 08, 2024
FreeStuffsNG:
A commotion ensued, during which two security guards from the French consulate – both fully recognized diplomats who carry diplomatic visas – were detained.

The French news agency AFP reported that the foreign minister, calling the incident "unacceptable," expressed anger over the conduct of the Israeli security personnel. “The integrity of the four domains that France is responsible for here in Jerusalem must be respected,” he said.
France owns 4 domains within Jerusalem, it funds and administers those domains yet their own Foreign Minister cannot even enter the premises without the Israeli government humiliating and striping the French government envoy of their sovereign and diplomatic rights as diplomats and owners of the domains. Smh

France should keep "outraging". PM Netanyahu is using the same teeth they helped him sharpen to tear their french flesh. I suspect that US diplomats too will soon collect especially now that Biden and Kamala has no election campaign limitations any more.

This incident was carried out by the Israeli government to deliberately humiliate France after France insists on ban of weapons export to Israel , ceasefire and banned Israel from participating in a military fair hosted by France.
if you don't tell Israel to go and bomb women and children, then you're their number one enemy.

Regarding Lebanon, the source said discussions focused on the "security guarantees Israel expects as part of a diplomatic cease-fire solution, based on efforts led by the U.S. and France."

The source expressed concern over Israeli policy in the West Bank, which, according to them, "undermines the Palestinian Authority, particularly in the economic and financial sectors," as well as the ongoing settlement expansion and what was described as "impunity for violent settlers."
The reason they now hate France. There's nothing they can do to France. Russia and China are against their actions in Gaza. UK is not supporter their campaign fully again. Im fact, Stamer said they can't protect Israel when full blown war breaks out. Out of the Big 5, Israel has only the US supporting their full genocide.

Because Iran condemned their actions in Lebanon, they attacked their oil company in Lebanon.

Israel is biting more than it can chew.

You and your wife are like farm to each other. BJ is a modern thing, if she demands it and you can do it to her satisfaction and to keep your sexlife in marriage, find a compromise. Just avoid anal and avoid her when she's having her period.

I know I can never use my mouth on any woman, but you have people who do it.

Basiljoe:
Use condoms
Use latex condoms every time you have sex, including anal and MouthAction. Don't use condoms made from animal products.

Get tested for HIV and STDs
Get tested for HIV and STDs at least once a year, and encourage your partners to do the same.

Take pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP)
PrEP is a prescription medication that can reduce the risk of HIV infection. You'll need to get an HIV test before starting PrEP, and you'll need to get repeat HIV tests every 3 months while taking it.

Avoid sharing needles
Never share needles to take drugs.

Choose less risky sexual behaviors
Limit your number of sexual partners, and avoid anal sex.

Use water-based lubricants
Lube can help minimize friction and reduce the risk of condoms breaking or sliding off.

Take HIV medicine
If you have HIV, take your antiretroviral therapy (ART) every day as prescribed. ART reduces the risk of HIV transmission by 96%.

Get screened for HIV during pregnancy
If you're pregnant, you'll be offered a blood test to check for HIV. If left untreated, HIV can be passed to your baby during pregnancy, birth, or breastfeeding.

I have 4 recommended glasses so far, but none seems to help. i was diagnosed with astigmatism, but the recent hospital I went to says nothing seems to be wrong with my eyes, I can't stand bright lights, or look at my phone screen or my laptop.

I am always in the dark. i did my research and found out it was photophobia or sensitivity to light. Anything light, makes me feel like my brain is about to explode. i have a career to pursue as it is limiting me.

i have bought several anti blue glasses or photochromic glasses.

Any suggestions would be useful
Welcome to the group.

I'd advise you to protect your eyes always against sunlight and the light from the screen of your laptop or phone so you don't end up losing your eyesight before time.

The honest advice a doctor gave me was: protect your eyes and don't expose them to what they don't want to see(sunlight and any kind of light).

Sadly, it has no cure. Once it begins, you live with it for the rest of your life.

Don't force yourself to live a normal life like everyone. Get a dark shade and a "face-cap" to protect your eyes in the sun, get glasses that are photochromic and can help you to look at screen while indoors.

Reduce your screen time or how long you expose your eyes to harmful light.

You can still visit the National eye center in Kaduna or ECWA eye clinic in Kano, so they can help your eyes to stabilize for them to work with glasses. I don't know which glasses you've been given so far.

The best thing that can happen to someone with such condition is to see darkness - I find peace in darkness.

Bro, brace up! You can manage the situation, but I will tell you for free that it has no cure. You have to visit professional to mitigate deterioration.

I'm the king of darkmode. In fact, I avoid any site that doesn't switch to darkmode or browsers like chrome that don't go dark completely. I hate Tiktok comment section. Oga, reduce the brightness of your phone screen. In fact, whenever I want to look at my laptop those days, in the night, i'd put on my shade. Funny right? 😂

The last one was when I went to fetch water while I was putting on a towel. They attacked again, and I jumped the fence. The towel pulled off my waist and I was naked. I had to quickly run into the room of a neighbor whose house is closer to the fence to cover myself. I felt so embarrassed.
@Idye , you kept going to a house where you were constantly being harassed by dogs, you went without the houseowner being on ground to rein the dogs in. You even went with a towel? A place you know what might come after you?

Somehow, I feel you deserve that treatment for not thinking. Why would you keep going back to where you are chased by dogs?

Foreign Affairs › Re: This Is Why Kamala Harris Lost To Donald Trump by Caseless: 2:25am On Nov 07, 2024
emkz:
Let me contribute here.

What are the issues?

1. A white candidate was "forced" to drop off the race and a mixed-race woman was brought up to challenge a white man for the seat.

2. The candidate spent time attacking the white dude who is known for what he was and did not spend as much time promoting herself and her programmes.

3. The candidate of the Democratic Party lacks the charisma to convince people. Hence, Barack Obama was brought in to appeal to the Black voters. This obviously did not work.

4. The main issue was the economy. Kamala spent too much time talking about abortion and meaningless things. Whenever she attacked Trump, people wondered what else she had to convince them.

5. Trump had been tried and the economy was not as bad; and Kamala was trying to gaslight the American people instead of finding ways to connect with them.

6. Kamala’s decision not to grant interviews where needed presented her as a snobbish character.

7. Trump lost many supporters, and gained even more like Elon Musk, who used his platform to counter mainstream media.

8. Celebrities endorsement like Beyonce, J Lo, Eminem, Usher and Oprah WInfrey are worthless.

9. Biden/Harris did not properly manage the Russian-Ukraine crisis and the Israel matter.

10. I don’t buy the idea that the US is not prepared for a female president. From Clinton to Harris, their message is clear: do not ask us to vote for you because you are a woman or because you look like us. WHat have you done and what will you do for us?
This is a better presentation than what the OP claims. The OP is emotional.

He can't say Harris lost because she stood up to Israel. American government is for Israel - the media is tilted towards Israel because they're owned by the jews, but that doesn't mean an average American gives a hoot.
