When he was threatened and dragged 2 court for libel, the presidency waded in and begged that the case be settled outside court. Abati tendered the apology on a national daily, and this was accepted by d forgiving general. noblezone: Buhari has promised the flow of blood in 2015. According to him, "dogs and baboons will be soaked in blood".'biri jini, kare jini' does not literally mean what abati and other southerners have taken it to be. You see d adage in pidgin that says 'if u say pesin water no go boil, ur own no go warm' does not apply directly in context; this u knw . The usual antics abati and others employed in painting Buhari black with that comment was shabby, and i wonder why some intelligent nigerians like u fell for that. U said 'soak'...there is nothing in that statement matches the word 'soak' in what he said, but comparing both animals in terms blood and what is expected of one shld b expected of the other. This he meant. noblezone: Buhari stood against the state of emergency as declared by Mr. President!this position he took does not put him in any position as their symthizer/sponsor, it is thesame position taken by amnesty int'l and other well-meaning nigerians cos the gov't/military cannot b trusted 2 keep its promise as regard minimising civillian casualty. The military hav been in those states even b4 SoE was declared, wat happend 2 innocent citizens at that time? So intensifying d offensive wth the poor record they have on ground wth rspkt to civllians; of course, it was wise 2 apply caution when taking side wth the govt on an issue of this grade. I support d SoE , infact, best decision ever taken by gej. In as much as i dnt like some of his policies, i agree wth gej on SoE and i stil prefer him to namadi and several others. In as much as i hate pdp and love d crisis rocking d party, i stil dont want their display of shamelessness in the name of representing us. Afterall the G-7 govnors/baraje faction wrote to the NASS , they were invited in respect of their letter by leaders of both the lower and upper chamber. Of course, they are nigerians and they must b accorded this right to air their grievances. What happened to the freedom of speech and association? Why were they shouted down by the pro-gej/tukur in the house? Does it run in the blood of gej supporters to attack or display anathema whenever one holds opposing view to theirs? D last time an identical event happened in river state house of assembly , the nass took over there. Now that same thing has happened here, who shld take over the house of rep? An adage in my language says "unyi kuji kó , uji agulo ó" which means, "house built by crooks shall surely b brought down b d crooks" . This house(pdp) has indeed fallen! Btw, who's the woman throwing punches at a member in that video? I saw oyinlola sitted very close to wher the woman was fighting from. Are they together?
