190theclown: As an African kid back in the 90's

during the festive period's I and my crew used to get flat planks/wood

drill a small piece of hole on the wood with a 7" nail

fill it with matches cover with a nail and use a wood on the nail to create explosive sounds that were quite loud
grin grin grin

we did this for years until a wood exploded and struck a kid on the head about 3years later then we stopped

africans always had a way of inventing things no matter how crude or dangerous it is especially nigerians

same way they had chewed kola and bathed with salt water a few weeks ago

I keep saying this. Should the world get destroyed today the last humans to die off would be nigerians grin grin

we invent anything
our nock-out invention. And we go on rampage with this handmade gadged(egbe or gun), after we must have munched rice and stew.
Imagine those cartoon-like plastic glasses and wrist-watches. grin grin
i wish i cud turn back the hand of time; those days were so sweet becos they were without boko haram and other security related issues like we're having right now.
Nigeria shal b good and sweet again!

mikeansy: I am not criticising APC for calling PDP Boko Haram, political parties can call themselves all they want.

They should not however drag the Nigerian army and the office of chief of army staff into politics and accusing them of terrorism. Thats crossing the line!!!

PDP is not equal to the Army!!!!!
No one has dragged the whole NA into terrorism, but an individual(ihejirika) is the one our lips right now.
Let's call a cutlass, a cutlass.

PoliticsRe: APC Believes In Boko Haram More Than The Nigerian Army by Caseless2:
mikeansy: Nigerians must be careful on how we speak on National security issues. This is not a market place conversation where you talk anyhow!

The APC chieftain declaring the truth has finally come out to claims the COAS is a terrorist sponsor just because a terrorist said so is irresponsible. It's one thing to quote dr Davis but it is quite another to add your own conclusions to the end of the quote and also make those subjective conclusions public!

It's like DR Davis saying an Army Chief sacked in January was said to be Boko haram sponsor by Boko Haram commanders and el Rufai going to the media with Ihejirika is a Boko haram sponsor. These 2 things are not the same. El Rufai is doing more than quoting dr Davis here! He has simply drawn 2 conclusions and Made these conclusions public and these have legal implication!

He has concluded the sacked army chief is Ihejirika and he has also concluded that Ihejirika is guilty!

Nigerians must learn how to discuss National security issues or discuss politics!

The utterances of some of our politicians are embarrassing!

Ihejirika will have no credible case against dr Davis in court as dr Davis did not mention his name nor accuse him of anything. Dr Davis simply quoted Boko haram commanders.
El Rufai on the other hand quoted dr Davis and also made 2 conclusions that can be challenged in court.

This explains why Sherrif threatens dr Davis with court action while Ihejirika attacks el Rufai!
you want to chide d apc for drawing conclusion that the truth has come out . Where were you when pdp drew their conclusion by saying apc sponsor boko haram or tagged them boko haram members/islamist? Sentiment no de allow una see fact

raumdeuter: Whether Oyegun whether Metuh, When would this clueless president arrest the 2 people mentioned by the negotiator

Iheajirika and Sheriff are suspected Boko Haram sponsors and need to be arrested by any sensible govt at least for questioning
the headless metuh was the same person that tagged islamic idealogy on the apc and also called them the sponsor of boko haram, and only to turn round and denied to have ever made that statement.
Oyegun did not blame pdp, but was jst celebrating that apc has been vindicated. He(oyegun) said the onus is on the president to hand his associates to the ICC for prosecution.
The way metuh sounded in his statement tells u how rattled the pdp is over the case against them and their associates.

PoliticsRe: Jonathan’s Hostage Negotiator Puts Him In A Tight Corner. by Caseless2: 8:23am On Sep 04, 2014
PointB: This whole idea of Boko Haram commanders, naming their sponsors, through Davis, is simply a smokescreen. It's main objective is to create further suspicions, and with it, division in the fight against terror.

If Boko Haram 'commanders' (these nameless ones Davis want us to believe in), wished to reveal the identity of the sponsors, what prevented them from naming the bank official who launders and transfer the blood money? And while at it, how about the 'bag man' in Egypt who is directly responsible for dishing out the fund? Surely those two - the 'sender', and 'distributor', would have been closer to their circle than indeed those who source for the funds, and should resonate often in the daily discussion of these faceless 'commanders' (whom Davis appears to be protecting).

It very clear to discerning minds that what Dr. Davis bought from these murderers is, indeed, a very obvious lie - a smokescreen! It is not worth the distraction it's creating in the war effort!
i'm sure u wld hav gone to church for a thanksgiving ceremony if buhari/ tinubu were the ones indicted in this revelation. You,
Frugal Coy!!!
PoliticsRe: Jonathan’s Hostage Negotiator Puts Him In A Tight Corner. by Caseless2: 8:14am On Sep 04, 2014
Jonathan and pdp created a vacuum we've been waiting to be filled and Dr David just did that for us.
Was it not jonathan that told us that members of boko haram are in his cabinet/gov't , we begged and waited for him to name those boko haram members in his gov't, he refused. Again, his party, the pdp also accused the opposition of harbouring boko haram members/sponsors...thereby, tagging apc as an islamic party. The apc has always asked pdp/gej to point or name those sponsors in their camp , but pdp/gej failed to do that until they got vindicated by Dr david.
We have no choice than to accept what the Australian said and thank him for that.
Dr Dadvid is right!

munky: All these back and forth bickering will not bring the dead back neither will it solve the current impasse. I don't think the central government ordered the killings. people have a right to protest. these extra judicial killings have been going on for a while in Nigeria and should stop irrespective of tribe or religion..

Anago, so the 3 million Nigerians that died during the civil war is now a topic for jokes?.The British and Russians aided the Genocide of your people and you are happy to make fun of it. would you joke about Jews that died in the Holocaust. have you ever sat down to consider why the west always support Israel over the Arabs?

people should remember that the Sharia and Cartoon riots in Kaduna started as a peaceful protests and developed into full scale killing spree. I think the soldiers should have tried to arrest the arrowheads unless they were attacked first. Nothing justifies the shedding of innocent blood. I am a Nigerian and I will never wish any Nigerian dead irrespective of tribe and religion.
now somebody with sense has spoken, unlike that deadhead called askhow.

Akshow: confirmed news. I heard this zakzaky followers that wear black took to the streets ready to cause chaos in demonstrations for their Muslims brothers killed in Gaza. very hilarious but true.

so soldiers were deployed around the city to keep them calm.

My question is should we term their erratic behavior as stupidity, ignorance or just plainly silly? Have they protested for their muslim brothers killed in kaduna boko haram blast two days ago? No! But they have the strength to protest over a war thousands of miles away in another country. They are indeed very foooolish. Abeg make them give them visa go Gaza go riot.
u ar jst sick, misinformed, a liar and attention-seeking type.
How can they protest the killing in Gaza , when the people of Gaza are in jubilant mood over the long ceasefire?
Fucck you to think that this fight is unconnected to the action of the military some weeks ago where 33 shiite members were killed including 3 children of their leader.

Eldavido1: SAS may have used BH to win his reelection. But to say he is sponsoring BH activities just doesn't add up. BH have severally identify him as their number one enemy and always request for his arrest as a precondition for peace. With time more truth will unfold.
this might be the reason they want to implicate him cos i can't believe boko cud jst come out reveal their sponsor jst like that. Again , they(boko haram) indicting him might also not be unconnected to the fact that he used them and dumped them. He even made law banning their activities; and he created a ministry of islamic/religious affair and made a boko haram member a commissioner. SAS hand no pure!

PoliticsRe: Military Sources Reveal Some Alleged Boko Haram Activities Of Ex- COAS Ihejirika by Caseless2: 4:36pm On Sep 03, 2014
Lordlexyy: According to the report, Ihejirike emergence and the introduction of the 7th armoured brigade completely demobilised the proactiveness of the CJTF who all the while had prevented the re-grouping of the insurgents. Also, some of the army commanders who were conversant with the terrain were redeployed on the ground of sabatage. The crux of this information doesn't exactly focus on the alleged complicity of the former army chief but on his poor professional handling of the crisis. Further more, the evident death and destructions of civilian lives and properties respectively by the NA under the watchful eyes of Ihejirike was also captioned independently. Could it have cost the former COAS staff anything to collect bribe, kill civilians, supply bh with arms, enrich himself and allow them to reign for all he cares, after all, it was a northern affair?
He changed a winning team, and that has cost us all lives of innocent ppl. Ihejirika cud hav won the war and remained our hero, but he chose the easiest way to enrich himself.
