We don't have any close walls around here but I think I can do it without walls. I'll try it tomorrow morning and post a pic.

CassieV you will need to start by building arm and shoulder strength by doing pushups with your knee on the floor and please pushups won't give you muscles it will only firm your arms, girls develop structurally like guys cause they don't have testosterone. Then work on your core muscles by doing planks.

Then use the wall when you throw your legs on the wall take Ur legs off the wall one after the other slightly and see. if u can balance.

Err I don't know how to explain. I usually do it on a soft surface(bed) because it quite painful.
I slide down the bed on my stomach and immediately throw my legs over my shoulder and hold it there.

It's a difficult skill for me and I'm working on making it less painful.

About the second picture, I usually do it close to the wall because I don't have good balance yet, so I don't fall and break my neck ..

Wow! The last two pictures require a lot of arm strength and great balance, I've been trying to master a handstand but I don't have good balance. How did you achieve this??

Don't worry the most important thing is that you find time in the mist of your busy schedule to train. That alone is enough determination. You hear people say they love handstands, splits, tumbling, floor routines or your fluidity but when it comes to working the talk with training it becomes a different balk game.

I will find out time to post my pic off a pancake press till then.

I followed the Rio Olympics Artistic Gymnastics competition and some of the Rhythmic gymnastics too. If you followed it, you can agree with me that Simone Biles is simply amazing, the Olympic champion

For someone who loves sports, I'm always disappointed when I visit this section. Come one people!! This section isn't only about bets and football clubs, there are other sports too. And you wonder why Nigeria came home with only a bronze medal after the Olympic games.

We need to talk about other sporting activities, encourage and promote them, It will go a long way.

Some people wonder why she won because they believe she's not a very good singer but like Simon said, her scratchy voice is what makes her unique and perfect. Also, for a girl at her age to be able to write such brilliant lyrics and present a beautiful song with her Ukulele; that's pure talent.
When I watched her audition rendition "I don't know my name", I knew she'd go far but then after watching her third performance "Light the sky", I knew she'd win.
I'm glad she did, she deserves it because she's got talent.
Congratulations to her, I'm already waiting for her album. Lol.. .

I just browsed about it now.. it's actually Laura Bretan the opera singer, who went for the Romania got talent not Grace VanderWaal.

Grace VanderWaal? I think this is her first competition, she hasn't won anything before this. In one of her interviews she said she didn't think she's a good singer so her success really surprised her.

I knew Grace would win.. She's got Talent, I'm so happy for her.

I visited there in 2013 with some friends. It's was truly an enlightening experience.
Hearing the stories of what happened back then, I felt sorry for the slaves. They endured alot, some couldn't survive it.

OP, can you say something about William Seriki Abbas? I remember they told us he was sold into slavery when he was 6 years old and he was fortunate enough to get a master that schooled him. He was later set free and he came back to become a slave master.
I don't know if i got the information right, can you throw more light on this please?
