Rampaging smugglers launched an attack on officers of the Ogun State Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS).

The officers, on routine anti-smuggling patrol, had intercepted some smuggled bags of rice and were escorting the seized items when, at about 8:00am, today, Friday, March 8, 2019, they ran into an ambush of reprisal at Papalanto by people suspected to be smugglers.

The attackers, according to a press statement by the Command’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), Abdullahi Aliyu Maiwada, pelted the officers with stones, bottles, cutlasses, sticks and other dangerous items.

The distressed officers reportedly sought for reinforcement that saw operatives of the Nigerian Army, Police and Customs men from both the Federal Operations Unit (FOU), Ikeja, and Ogun Command coming to their rescue. Before then, two of the officers had sustained severe injuries.

A Liberian woman based in the United States has revealed what she did to her cheating Nigerian husband.

According to the woman who has been married to the Nigerian man for over 8 years, she said she has caught him cheating on her few times but what broke the camel's back was when he decided to travel back to Nigeria for vacation and to spend quality time with his family.

The woman revealed that she knew that the man was chatting with another woman in Nigeria about what they will do and where they will meet upon his arrival.

The Liberian wife revealed that she feigned ignorance and allowed her husband to travel while promising herself to make him pay when he returns.

So when the man finally traveled to Nigeria, she decided to put up their big house for rent ($1,275 per month) and moved out with her children as she got another apartment while her husband stayed in Nigeria for two months.

When the man came back to the US, he found out what his wife had done.

He called her on phone and she told him she knew he was with another woman in Nigeria. She also said she won't divorce him but will be separated from him for one year.

One person has been killed after political supporters clashed earlier today 6th march, 2019 at Kakuri, Kaduna south local government area of Kaduna state.

According to reports, supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) clashed during a campaign rally.

The clash which led to certain supporters using knives and other weapons to fight themselves - saw at least one person dead. This caused an unrest in Kakuri before the arrival of soldiers to the area.

It was gathered that supporters during the campaign/rally came with knives and other local weapons to Kakuri- Kaduna South, destroyed people’s shops, vehicles and looted what their hands can cart away freely.

A victim identified as Daniel Adamu was killed in the process.

Ladies in Port-Harcourt, Rivers state, are set to light up the capital city tomorrow.

A Nigerian lady is making the rounds online and the reason for that is obvious.

Picture of the young female teacher emerged online and since then, has gone viral over her tight curve which was revealed in the clothe she wore to school.

The lady who is believed to be a corps member - was pictured teaching some junior secondary students in the outfit which highlighted her massive backside.

Online users have reacted to the picture - with some saying that the lady’s dressing to school is okay while others have argued that her outfit is inappropriate considering the effect it might have on the male students. .

A pastor has narrated what allegedly happened in a Nigerian family after seven brothers were deported from various countries and even had their properties seized.

According to Evang Emmanuel Chinonye Nnabueze, the brothers were doing well abroad before their uncle (father's brother) visited a native doctor in the eastern part of Nigeria - to work against them out of jealousy. The names of the brothers were allegedly written on a tree in an evil forest and all the clothes and wrappers given to their uncle - were all also hung on the tree.

Seven brothers deported from different countries within the period of two years and not only that they were deported but have their belongs confiscated by the authorities, nobody could ascertain what is happening not even their parents. He visited a native doctor who took him to an evil forest that took us almost 6/7km trekking from the express, in that forest was a tree, the names of those children were written all over the tree, all the clothes and wrappers given to him by those children were all hang on the tree. That was the genesis of those children's misfortunes. To be honest I could not hold my Holy anger. I did not know when I dashed him one holy hot slap, command him to bring those clothes and wrappers down and removed their names one after the other with renunciation. Which he did.

A group of young ladies decided to make the most of their flooded space after a heavy rainfall in Ekiti state.

The ladies took advantage of the flood instead of going to pay so much money at a swimming pool 'which was already at their disposal'.

Trending pictures posted online - show the moment the ladies swam and played in the "pool" during the rainfall.

One of the ladies who couldn't contain her excitement, appreciated the rain and claimed that they had waited long for this moment to catch fun.

The Nigerian Army in Port Harcourt, Rivers state, has paraded a former Commissioner for Urban Development; Reason Onyia, a House of Assembly Member, Wanaka Okpokiri, four police officers attached to Government House, an Army Major and many other suspected thugs over alleged attempt to move ballot papers, or compromise security at the CBN where INEC materials were lodged for the just concluded elections.

The army spokesman, Sagir Musa said the suspects confessed to be working for Nyesom Wike, governor of Rivers state.

He said they had posed as staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and tampered with electoral materials.

He also said the army has on record phone conversations between the suspects and the governor.

The man whose identity was hidden, claimed the lady whom he bought a phone for – bit him on the neck because he purportedly sucked her br**sts forcefully.

A Nigerian enterprenuer and screen writer has shared screenshots of the chat he had with a slay queen who tried to shame his hustle online. 

According to Mfoniso Isong, the unnamed lady chatted him up on WhatsApp and tried to advice him to stop selling recharge cards and data online because he is disgracing himself and his family. 

The lady also told him to look for a dignified job despite being told by the young man that the hustle pays his bill.

Things took a different turn when Mfoniso offered to give her 2GB of data for free after her unwarranted advice.

The treasurer of National Union of Road Transport Workers Lagos state chapter, Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya popularly known as MC Oluomo has returned back to Nigeria, after travelling to the United States of America, few weeks back. 

The popular figure in Oshodi area of Lagos, traveled to the US after being discharged from Eko hospital following an attack on him at an All Progressives Congress (APC) rally in Ikeja on January 8.

He traveled to the US where he is a citizen for more medical examination and also to rest.

He was accompanied on the trip by his relation (who is pictured with him at the airport on return to the country).

His fans and well wishers have taken to social media to welcome him back.

A group of northerners were chased away from Ekpoma in Edo state by indigenes of the area few weeks ago.

According to Ajayi Obazu, the Hausa men were spotted in front of Ambrose Alli Hall, opposite the local government secretariat in Ekpoma after biking their motorcycles and were loading bags of groundnut into a truck.

The Hausa men revealed that they were travelling to Warri in Delta state, to offload the bags of groundnut. 

The residents who alleged that the men might have ulterior motive ahead of the election, chased them out of their community and followed them till they left. 

Meanwhile, some Nigerian internet users have condemned the action of the residents, labeling it as tribalistic and uncalled for.

Facebook user Paragon Iruonagbe Sylvester wrote; am from around Ekpoma, if there is a case of insecurity, it should be promptly reported to the security agents, we should not label all hausa people evil, lots of them are good people and have rights as Nigerians to live wherever they wish, but if any if them is involved in any crime whatsoever, that person should be made to face the law.

A lady was severely dealt with and humiliated for allegedly having an affair with a married man. 

It was gathered that the man's wife and her friends - tracked down the side chick and decided to teach her a brutal lesson. The un-identified lady was stripped totally naked and tortured by the scorned wife.

Facebook user Sandra Illoka shared the trending report but didn't reveal where it happened as she lambasted the wife for treating a fellow woman as an animal. 

She said the same treatment the young lady got - should be meted out on her husband who can't control himself because it takes two to tango.

It was gathered that the deceased who is yet to be identified as at the time of filing this report, was reportedly engaged in an argument with his attackers before allegedly telling one of them to f**k off.

He was then shot about five times at close range which led to his instant death, according to reports.

Last year, over eight Nigerians were killed in a gang related war in various parts of South Africa. Three Nigerians were killed in the space of four days.

Nigerians were reported to be killing fellow countrymen in South Africa over business and gang/cult related issues..
