So now being Igbo in Lagos is suddenly a badge of honor?

This is the same Lagos where they are constantly reminded they are outsiders. It's funny how people forget the reality of tribal tensions just because of a little development.

Let’s not pretend like the narrative has changed overnight.

Lets go back to our land and build it. Bush dey everywhere

Yoruba's should embrace their heritage by communicating in their language. Go to the north you will never hear English or pidgin English.

Foreign Affairs / Re: FG Spends $600m On Fuel Importation Monthly – Edun by castro316: 12:26pm On Aug 07
Baba don't let me yab you o. how can you compare a country like UK which doesn't have crude and sells fuel for N3000 a liter to us which has the crude to be buying this same fuel at the same N3000? if our refineries are working why should we send our crude half way across the globe refine it and transport it back? No be juju be dat? port Harcourt refinery can be steady and deliver 300,000 barrels daily and Nigeria will sell fuel for N200 . this in turn will reduce dollar rate to N400 or N500. This UK should be begging us for our oil since we can produce this oil in our country
D1uncle:

Nigerians are the problem in this country, not the leaders. Petrol is sold for an average of 3000 Naira per liter in the UK and other Western countries. The issue is that we have crude oil but are importing from them. You should ask yourselves why. It’s because the average Nigerian likes to chase shadows. You want things to be cheaper in Nigeria compared to our neighboring countries, while countries with sophisticated technology like the US and UK find it impossible to control their borders. We should be rioting for an increase in the minimum wage, not for the cost of things. China doesn’t care about the price of the dollar; they work hard to earn a living. As long as you keep complaining about prices, this country is not going to get better. Let me tell you a secret: virtually everything is cheaper in Nigeria, including its people.
Foreign Affairs / Re: FG Spends $600m On Fuel Importation Monthly – Edun by castro316: 12:18pm On Aug 07
you spend $600m and make $1.2bn monthly. while you guys bring back OUR petrol which you produce in MALTA, INDONESIA AND OTHER COUNTRIES WHICH YOU ARE MAJOR SHAREHOLDER IN THEIS OIL COMPANIES, you sell it to neighboring countries who are able to buy it at more than N2000 a liter (about $1 and above), make your money and come back and complain to us that OUR petrol is scarce. you removes subsidy, the only way we were benefiting from this fuucked up country and you keep telling us lies upon lie. Bring back our subsidy joor. You further devalue OUR currency so that you get more nominal value from your import of OUR oil, you come and tell us rubbish. you now suddenly believe that your own country is too poor to buy the fuel that you mine from their own land. Now you have full custody of the crude, now you don't need the people who own the crude anymore.

If you heard correctly, those shots were many and happened from close range

No matter how many work it's God who bosses he blesses. Ronaldo will struggle from now till tomorrow Messi will remain his Oga.

That's why you should not judge him. That's his elimination process. He thinks his friends avoided him. Now he is free to have any relationships and push others out

phorget:

Life has a natural elimination processes sir, the older we grow the lesser friends we have and that often times is a natural phenomenon. Not everyone will draw near even when you think you've achieved success, some would even be successful than you are for sure. Remember that their criticism help got you to where you are so the few that might come closer still need your hands of fellowship. Everything is not about money, some might need your mentorship in a particular area of their life.

Lol... He sounded more stupid than his so call friends. Was he actually expecting a validation from his friends before progressing in his business? As for me I love it more when people dont actually believe in my dreams cos it spurs me on to achieving greatness so I can make them eat their criticism.

So what do you do with them when they draw near after you achieve success?
Education / Re: Nigerian Man Blocks All His Secondary School Friends by castro316: 2:51pm On Jun 21
Hmm. The way people criticize and insult others then they achieve success is alarming. No wonder we go to church every night vigil to cast out enemies. Look at how y'all and castigating someone's decision whom you don't know and he gave you reasons why he did so. It goes way to think of the pain you get from the rejection from people you know and love while achieving success. Some may have said he will never make it. I support him because many Nigerians are nay Sayers but when you succeed, you turn family while they are looking for a way to kill you. Why must it be you that will succeed?

But it doesn't change the fact that he isn't a responsible fellow, just like Farida. I think this is her 3rd husband or so. She was warned but she kept attacking everyone.

How do you marry your bestie's ex?
Your bestie sef has been in and out of various marriages. Dated popular FUJI musicians.

All these Lagos socialites have a poor taste in men. That is why fine London old boys association dey use their eyes see shege. This includes the actresses. Once they have money, it is to fix gold tooth and be going from one party to another with expensive aso ebi. Recycling the same men like Pasuma and MC Oluomo. Fighting over these men on Instagram and at parties.

Imagine the late Alaafin's queen is dating Portable. A queen?? God abeg!

If at this age you don't know how to get and keep a man, it is gone. A Nigerian man that knows his onions doesn't need your travel history. Except na gigolo you dey with.

The Farida lady is courteous to customers though. Been to her shop on Akerele for pedicure. Very affordable and stellar service.

When people date and marry their kind you don't need to wonder at the end results.

First of all,why men getting married to women is because of sex....... Get that into your head,..

I don't no of others choices, which might be based on things subjective to there choice. Such as beauty, appearance, mood, understanding......

But with women,.. I don't think,. I know... That ladies dating and matting with a man is all about a provider....in her subbcounsious mind...

Perish this idea if you want to marry well. How will you say men marry because of sex? You need a woman who has a good culture, giving your children sense because she will be around those children most of the time. You need a woman who is thoughtful and deliberate about making you happy, also peace of mind.

Another question is why should we save. What do you want to use the saved money for? If you save for you to spend all the money later, this is a problem for us people.
