budaatum: I can't quite understand why you choose to learn Igbo from people who insult you.
Are they paying you to learn perhaps, or are they the only Igbo teachers in the world so you can't go find teachers elsewhere?
You seriously need to be more responsible for your own learning, is what I think, instead of trying to take your learning from those who seem to be doing everything so you don't learn Igbo. It seems like I need to pay lesson teacher to learn the language. I don't like being insulted. |
Nairaland General › Why Is It That While Learning Igbo, You Will Be Faced With Insults? by castro316(op): 9:32pm On Jan 01 |
Why is it that in trying to learn Igbo language, instead of being taught, you be faced with insults?
I have tried and tried to learn my mother tongue which is Igbo language and instead of my fellow brothers and sisters to teach me small small, that's how they will throw insults at you saying "you are not ashamed you can't speak your language...tufia!", as if it was ingrained in my DNA to speak the Igbo language. Brothers and sisters we are the architects of our own cultural demise and the more we do this, the more our language goes extinct. Look at other tribes. Yoruba people will teach you at the spot. Sometimes if you are in their mist one person will explain (se alaye) the discussion to you. They make it interesting and enticing to learn. Unfortunately I never picked the language being that I was thinking the same will be for me when I got to the east but in the end when I got there I faced backlash. A tribes strength is known by the language flexibility and the number of people speaking the language. Look at Hausa for instance. Everything has an Hausa translation which is good. Which means the language is open ended and is given room to create new words but my own tongue often add English words to their sentences. "Onye buru my container". "As a matter of fact mua but the highest self made millionaire n'eba". And it goes on. Please tell me why it is so? |

EXPRESSSMAN: First I did not attack you. I only counter what you said. Second, I did not make any suggestion because it was a random question. I need to know somethings about his abilities, and time available to him before I can make effective suggestions. There are lots of businesses out there. Then on fx, well am not a novice. I know of certain candle stick analysis, volitality index and others. But any biz with a possibility of gain or lost is pure uncertainty. The common name is gambling and that is where fx belong. It does not mean that one cannot make money out of it and it is not something you will recommend to a civil servant looking for more income. Haha you are right. I come a family of civil servants and I had to fight and become a black sheep to tear myself out of the dogma. As for fx that's why we have stop loss The market makers know that most traders find it difficult to use stop loss. Treat fx as a business and you will know peace |

EXPRESSSMAN: That's not true. That you don't know the road to a place does not mean that the place does not exist. The forex and crypto you suggested are disguised gambling. Bet9ja is even better than them. so you also don't know road too? you would have corrected me by mentioning a business that one can start up with 1.5million naira. you would have done this forum a great service by doing that instead you resorted to attacking me. i trade and make money from it. just tell me that you don't know how to trade so that I can teach you. its how you trade currency that will determine whether you are gambling or you are actually trading. you are not wrong if you say its gambling, that's if you are trading wrongly. They tell you to put $10 so you can make $1000 in 6 months. no be juju be that? the least amount of money you should put to make a good sum is $200 - $300 and you should be making about $50 - $100 a month if market moves .The best traders make 50% of capital a month and you want to do better than them? if you want to make at least $1000 a month you should have at least $5000 to $10,000 so that you can sleep well at night. Trading is 90 percent analysis (fundamental and technical), risk management and 10 percent execution. so if you know any good business todo with 1.5 million naira oya tell us |

I've been using the bank for about five years and I don't have anything to complain about. 350k you say? which bank is that so that you don't confuse the thunder |

Christianity Etc › Re: I Used Another Man's Seed (sperm) Because I Was Infertile by castro316: 11:14am On Jun 13, 2025 |
igatit: This is a true life story. The names of the true characters have been changed.
I USED ANOTHER MAN'S SEED (SPERM) BECAUSE I WAS INFERTILE
I got married to my sweetheart Andrea Asor Awen in Dec 2011 traditional wedding in Anyingba, Kogi state. I married the daughter of the famous "Alhaji Kampala". And then did the white wedding in February 18 2012 in Makurdi, Benue state.
After the wedding, we were so excited and looked forward to a blissful marriage. All our Amen's were in place, especially to prayers for children. After about 6 months into the marriage my wife didn't take in eventhough i was consistently performing my conjugal duties on a daily basis (no exaggeration) except when we had the monthly visitor which was very much not welcomed as at the time. Infact it always brought tears.
Then the Hospital excapades began, I will prefer not to mention the names of the doctors and hospitals because I didn't ask their permission to mention them in this post and it might protray them in a light that might be in my opinion unacceptable to them. But i sure appreciate them for every thing they are doing and medicine is a blessing, God uses Medicine also to help us.
I first of all visited a lab and did a sperm count and when the test came out, hmmm. The report said they was no sperm to even count. The news came so hard, oga you no get any sperm count.
This meant i was INFERTILE not IMPOTENT (know the difference). Boy, did I cry..I cried oooooooooooooooooooooooo😭😭😭😭😭. After all, Jesus too cried and it wasn't tears of joy. My wife of life was there for me. Thank God for this kind of wife, she was there petting me as i was sulking.
We now went to the hospital, and did more tests and results were the same. I started treatment alongside prayers, drugs became my steady companion and my curiosity always took me to the hospital for sperm count. I was always disappointed. I even went to this herbal guys one chief Ba.... Need i to mention, desperation can make you do anything. the man gave me those herbs that were bitter and I couldn't stand it and that was the straw that broke the camels back.
During this ordeal, the enemy suggested to me that God was punishing me for all the sins i ever committed...mtcheeeeew😏. I didn't know what i know now, i prayed and fasted, my wife did dry fasting two times at MFM and a little glimmer of hope. The sperm counted but not up to one thousand ( Normal semen contains 40 million to 300 million sperm per milliliter. A low sperm count is considered to be anything between 10 and 20 million sperm per milliliter. Twenty million sperm per milliliter may be adequate for pregnancy if the sperm are healthy. )but it was really poor. One day i told God to just kill me nah.
At some point after another 2 years, My doctor suggested IUI (Intrauterine insemination) Intrauterine insemination (IUI) — a type of artificial insemination — is a procedure for treating infertility. The Urim & The Thummim. Sperm that have been washed and concentrated are placed directly in your uterus around the time your ovary releases one or more eggs to be fertilized. which i paid for heavily and it didn't work. And he also suggested IVF which i declined and ofcourse I didn't have money for. At this point we tried several other doctors, one referral to another, and let me add, my wife too was running all kinds of tests and scans o. And continuous intake of drugs.
Finally i got tired, we had heard tens of stories of causes of infertility and most were tied to witchcraft, fathers house, mothers house, wedding gifts etc.
I decided if my seed (sperm) will not work, i am going to use another Man's seed (sperm). Infact i was told by one of those doctors resident in Abuja that i can use another mans seed(sperm), i can be given one with the kind of xtics for a child i like. It occurred to me that i knew a man's that is just perfect.I knew a man's own that matched all the characteristics i desired. He is fine, good blood group, good health, rich and strong. His name is Jesus.
THE WORD SEED AS USED IN THE BIBLE IS THE ROOT WORD FOR SPERMA, WHICH IS THE WORD SPERM COMES FROM.
I studied all the cases of child delays in the bible, Mary the mother of Jesus, Hannah, Abraham, Samson's mum, Isaac and even Elizabeth etc i paid more attention to Abraham's because it had more evidence. All their conception came from the Sperma of Gods word.
After about 4 years and some months, in June of 2015, to cut long story short. I was reading the bible and by the Spirit stopped on Mathew 18:19 and it felt like my room lit up with a bright light, the entrance of thy word giveth light. The scripture says St. Matthew 18:19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
Brothers and sisters, the moment this revelation hit me, I called my wife from the shop just Infront of our house into the parlour that day, she sat down and said how far. I read the scripture to her and i said this is the key to our conception. The Urim & The Thummim. I said to her excitedly, this verse will give us our Children.
I said how many of us are here? She replied just Two of us. I said we meet the first requirement (IF TWO SHALL).
Second requirement, Shall agree on earth... I said babe where are we? She said on earth. Thirdly, i said let us agree that this month we will concieve and nine months later you will deliver our first born son. We held hands and i declared Lord you cannot lie thank you because we asked for a child and we have agreed according to your word that it is done ALREADY (Past tense). And from that day, i never did any sperm count again or even take any drug, Heaven bears me witness. Because i used the seed of God's word and we believed it is more than potent. The count is appropriate. We just maintained Thanksgiving for what we have already. Dear reader, 9 months later exactly, our first born son came. (agreement in June, she missed her period in July, Noah Asor Aver Awen came march 18th 2016 do the maths). 5 months later my wife concieved again I didn't know the agreement continued because i was just playing my regular computer game😜 with no pregnancy in mind. My daughter Shine Mchivirter Awen came.
And on January 10th 2022 my 3rd born son Ethan Terseer Kashimana Asor Aver Awen Ahough Taku was born. How do i deactivate this seed?🤔
Ladies and gentlemen, there is nothing the seed (sperma) of Gods word cannot impregnate. Any dried situation, barren condition, dead and forgotten problem, demonic sickness, stopping satan in his tracks, pls apply the seed (sperma) of Gods word and believe.
On the 18th of February 2022 exactly, my wife and i just clocked 10years of marital bliss. I say this boldly without mincing words MARRIAGE SWEET ABEG.
Hebrews 4:12 (AMP) For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.
Happy 10years wedding anniversary to us"
Rest and Rejoice!

Word of note - beautiful sexy women come with a lot of baggage. Choose your poison. Unless you want to keep searching but then can you find a loyal woman as your current girlfriend? |
Romance › Re: Can I Still Marry Her? Please Help. by castro316: 2:51am On Apr 06, 2025 |
AGManuel: Hello House, please help I need advice.
I have a girlfriend who's been with me for 2 years, she's a very good girl, respects me to the core, she is beautiful and has no faults, she loves me so much and has also suffered with me even when there was no money and we've been through it all, she's every man's dream and a complete wife material in terms of character and also a great chef.
Problem is I am not sexually attracted to her, I can be in same room with her for a week and not touch her, even when she's totally naked running around the house.
I'm only attracted to light skin girls with big ass but she's chocolate and average ass, I don't want a sexually boring marriage.
She's good in bed and knows how to make love, but I just don't feel sexually attracted to her, is it because we've been having sex for 2 years? am I tired of her? I don't even know, she has never insulted me, she supports me and we hardly have disputes.
Married men in the house should I go ahead and marry her? Can lack of sexual attraction to your spouse be a big problem?
I don't want to break up with a good woman just because of sex.
She loves me so much and I know breaking up with her will hurt her so much, I know how much she cries anytime we have issues, most times over minor issues. I love her too. But this sexual attraction thing is a problem.
She no de hungry me to fvck at all. How person wan take marry woman wey no de hungry am to fvck.
Is it see finish? Will I get sexually attracted to her if we give each other space? Or is it because she's not my spec physically? But I love her so much and I'm just confused.
I don't even know if it's love, because she has no one, I'm her everything, her family is poor and I always feel pity for her whenever I want to break up.
Of recent we had issues and she went to discuss it with her ex and that made me so angry. I don't tolerate women that still keep in touch with their ex and I considered breaking up but she cried so much and was apologising, she even fell sick and was begging.
I have a soft spot for her because I know she doesn't have anything or anyone, I'm the person that supports her financially and everything, so whenever I want to break up, I think about those things and I feel so much pity for her like if I chase her away where will she go? and this is a girl that has been there for me few times when I was low.
I'm just confused. So you want to marry/ choose a partner because of sex? It seems you are not ready for marriage. What about all the responsibilities that follow marriage? Do not marry someone you are sexually attracted to. Marry someone who you can live with and give you peace of mind. I don't want you coming here later in the years telling us about how your 'sexually attractive' wife is causing drama in your home and you want to divorce her. Now you don see better woman you ain't contented. |
