Many of these guys, especially the young ones can be very wicked and heartless. I remember the day I took my car there, there was this man they were fixing his car also beside me. The mech guy went to buy a part, he came back saying the price was 28k. The man paid him. Later , another mech there went to buy the same part for 14k. I could remember some senior mechs there almost beat that young mech for that wicked act. The funny thing is, the guy stood his ground and said "na business." My advice to anyone going to fix their car at Ladipo, do not go there if you don't know anyone there or recommended to someone there. Nowadays, I prefer not to go there at all. |
I Know You Are Busy But If You Can Spare Just Two Minutes To Read This Post To The End, I Guarantee You Will Come To Thank Me Forever. Last 2 years, in June, I was strolling down a busy street in Lagos with one of my close friends. Suddenly, he muttered, “Ben, if I had my way, I’d disown my parents.” Surprised, I asked him why he would say something like that. He sighed and said, “Ever since I graduated from university four years ago, I haven’t been able to find a good job to support myself, let alone think about getting married. If my parents weren’t so lazy and poor, they could have set up a business for me to manage instead of leaving me to suffer like this.” On the one hand, I could see where he was coming from, but on the other, I couldn’t fully agree. Yes, everyone hopes to have a solid foundation to build on, but should you choose to stay stuck because you weren’t born into wealth? So, I gathered the courage and told him, “Andrew, you’re struggling today not because your parents are poor, but because you chose to.” It may sound harsh, but it was the truth. I had offered many times to teach him how to make money legitimately online, but he was so tied to his 8-to-6 job that he didn’t have time to explore other opportunities. You know how it is in Lagos - sometimes you have to wake up at 4 am and don’t get home until 10 pm. The cycle just keeps repeating itself. Let’s get straight to the point. You see, if you are broke, IT IS YOUR FAULT. Not the fault of your parents, uncles, friends, or Nigeria. It is not even God’s fault. It is totally your fault. Before you stone my big head or insult my generation, allow me to tell you why I say so. Lol. Many people have come across some life-changing opportunities but refused to take action until that opportunity slid behind them. Do you know why? They feel everything online is a scam or merely a word of mouth, so they don’t want to take risks. They forgot that life itself is a risk, and if you fail to take calculated risks, you are going to remain poor forever. Let me take you back to when I was barely making ends meet, working a 9-to-5 job that didn’t even cover my basic needs. I would wake up at 4 am and get back home at 10 pm. In fact, I’d find myself borrowing almost as much as I earned before the month was even over, and the circle continues. I was always angry - frustrated with my job and basically everything else. I don't even know whether it was because I was broke that I was angry or it was because I was angry that I was broke. Lol. Honestly, I couldn’t understand why things were so tough, even though I was working hard every day. It seemed as if I was trapped in a never-ending cycle of stress and disappointment, with my bank account always singing "Dorime." Lol. Then, out of nowhere, things started to change. The truth is I stumbled upon an opportunity that transformed my life completely. It wasn’t just a job; it was a path to freedom. I discovered the world of freelancing and copywriting, and it opened doors I never knew existed. Now, I’m offering you the same opportunity to change your life. Before I proceed, let me give you a brief information about myself. My name is Benedict Okpe, and I’ve been working remotely for different international clients as a digital marketer, content marketer, publisher, and editor for almost a decade. I write for businesses on multiple freelancing platforms, like Upwork and Fiverr, and other platforms like LinkedIn, etc. And guess what? Businesses always need content writing - it’s one niche that never dies out, because content is an integral part of marketing initiatives that no company can do without. Even though AI tools are popping up everywhere, 90% of clients still prefer having a human writer. On average, a 1000-word article goes for $15, and the good thing is, you can write it in less than 1 hour using a simple strategy I’ve taught a few lucky students of mine. Now, making $15 for a 1,000-word article might not sound like much, but with the current exchange rate, that’s over N20,000 in Nigerian currency! Imagine if you can get at least 2 clients to offer you a writing opportunity of 5 or ten articles per month. Do the mathematics yourself. If someone like me with average intelligence and without any special training can earn at least $300 a month while on boxers right from my room, using just my smartphone, then you can too! It is no news that things are getting harder - many people now find it tough to put food on the table, and it’s heartbreaking to see how many households now beg before they can eat. The government is even confused about what to do. The whole situation has pushed many young men into illegal activities like “YAHOO” just to make ends meet. Young women too, are not left out, many of them are finding themselves in difficult situations they never thought they’d face - some are into hookups and other immoral vices just to survive. Many of them don’t prefer to live that way. The situation of the country prompts them to do so. Even those with steady 9 to 5 jobs are feeling the pressure. It feels like, your salary disappears before you’ve even had a chance to use it. Seeing how tough things have become, I have decided to train 1000 serious people on how to make legitimate money online in the remaining months of this year. My goal is to see you achieve financial independence through legal means. I can say it is my own way of teaching you how to catch fish rather than giving you a few fish that will make you hungry after a few hours. So, if you’re ready to learn from someone who has been there, done that, and knows the secrets to making money online legally and morally, my class is for you. There are many people out there selling books on freelancing and copywriting for N50,000 or more. But I can tell you for free that 95% of these individuals don’t have real experience with what they claim to know. They just read books and watch videos online, then compile what they have learned in books and begin to sell. But I’m offering you something much more than just a book. aieromon:Do you suggest I drain it and put WS? |
jimts:Thank you too. I am also hoping this fixed the issue permanently. |
Nazgul:Yes, my car is working perfectly now. Like I narrated, the first person recommended changing the gear, etc. If you reside in Lagos, I can connect you with the guy |
aieromon:I used T4. My mechanic said it is the best. I bought it 25k |
Blackdeewhy:Thank you very much. |
Here is my earlier tread regarding the fault my Camry 012 developed, https://www.nairaland.com/7691025/camry-012-jerk-when-changing Some car gurus, like xperiencelove, Jimts, etc. gave me their professional suggestions on the possible cause of the issue and solution. So, I took my car out for diagnosis and repair. The first "gear specialist" told me the gear has developed faults and needed to be replaced. He totalled everything, including his workmanship to be 450k. I left there unconvinced, went to the second person, and he diagnosed the car and told me the gear sensor is faulty and some other things. He told me he will rectify the issue at the sum of 150k. I was still unconvinced, so I went to another rewirer, he diagnose the car and told me the machine was pointing out the gear sensor, and that I should take the car to my mechanic to replace the sensor(he failed to mention which particular gear sensor). So I took the car to my mechanic, and after allowing the car to cool, he cleaned all the sensors, still the issue persist. So, I called another gear specialist at Ladipo. He told me it is the valve body, and I need to change it. So we booked an appointment. Prior to that, I met someone in the church who referred a gear specialist/rewirer to me at Ladipo. So, I booked an appointment with that guy too. And, following my spirit leads, I asked the other specialist who suggested the valve body has developed faults to wait until the following day. I did that to meet with the other guy first to hear his own suggestions or findings. When I finally meet this new guy(one young guy), he drove the car around and told me he will fix it but it will cost me 60k. So, we bargained and finally settled at 30k. He initially told me he will need to allow the car to cool for a minimum of 6 hours b4 he will open the gearbox, and that the car will be ready the next day. So I said okay. Later, he told me to enter the car and let's drive it again. We drove it a few distances then he parked and fixed his machine in the car. He carried out a TRANSMISSION ADAPTATION RESET and that solve the whole issue. This same thing was suggested to me by Jimts AutoJando here, but since I don't have the device to do it, I had to allow those guys to have their way. I wanted to still bargain the initially agreed price(30k) but he declined that we already had an agreement. I was like something you did that did not take you 5 mins, he said "na my work." lol. Guys, this issue affected my car fuel consumption seriously. Besides, the car doesn't move smoothly or speed as it use to. But since the rewirer guy reset the transmission adaption, the car is back to normal. I took out time to narrate my experiences so other car owners can learn from them. Those mechanics and rewire guys are ready to milk you dry if you don't shine your eyes. Again, don't totally trust your mechanic, irrespective of your relationship with them. Try to verify things from 2 or 3 others before agreeing to most of their suggestions. Thank you, xperiencelove, Jimts AutoJando, etc., for your suggestions and advice. Mod please move this to the front page to reach a wider audience. Thanks.

jimts:Okay. I will revert with the result. Thanks |

xperiencelove:A rewiring technician has diagnosed the car and the result happens to be the gear sensor. Two people that diagnosed it said the same thing. Should I go with this finding? |
