Dame thing happened to me many years ago in South Korea. Back then, you can pick everything ypu need your house on the street. They sometimes beg us to come and pick it for free, because is illegal to just throw something outside without a sticker or garbage nylon.
So that day, I just came out of the train station to board a bus to my house, I saw a tv in a street near the road where I was waiting for a bus.
I took the tv after thinking about it for a while. Because of the tv size, I decided to use a taxi instead of the bus I was waiting.
Their taxi reads in meter, you pay whatever amount that shows in the meter. After spending like times 20 of the bus fair on taxi, the tv did not work. Omg, I wan cr*ze that day. I even tried to repair it, no way.
