Mr OP, your threats are noted. However, it stops nothing. In Igbo parlance, we say "a pre planed fight/riot/war does not cost a cripple his life". Igbos in the North have been duly warned. We at home have been singing it like a song that our brothers in the north should come home or go anywhere but to the north for many years now. Just very recently, the Arewa youth asked Igbos in the north to leave. Maybe, just maybe, this time they will heed. If they do fine, if they dont, their cup of tea!! WE ARE NOT GOING BACK ON BIAFRA!!!! No Sacrifice is too much for this course! !!!! |
patrick89:I can't make sense from what you posted. Meanwhile, insults and abuses are beneath me. Be cultured, man. |
vanpeele:Super interesting!! OP, thanks for sharing this wonderful piece of information. Pls check your mail, I sent you a message. |
OP, GOD Bless you!! |
patrick89:Andy Uba is a criminal now, right? When the petroleum marketers held Nigerians to ransom towards the tail end of GEJ's tenure and he (Andy Uba) opened his tank farms and flooded the Nigerian space with petroleum products, thereby forcing other marketers to release theirs and sell, and Nigerians breathing a sigh of relief, he wasn't a criminal then. Kontinew o. |
Op, until you commit 'your' suicide following Nnamdi Kanu's release, you are a COWARD!!! |
For those who are opening their gutters called mouth and gushing out sludge on this topic, NOTE: The parents of the children in the rally are BIAFRANS!! If they want to build up the Biafran Spirit in their children early in life, that should not bother anybody. Have a nice day. |
@OP Nigeria should KEEP THEIR PRESIDENCY!! Other ethnic groups that have been producing the Presidents have NOT progressed more than the Igbos. BIAFRANS WANT OUT. Period!! |

This singular act has the potential of setting this nation ablaze if not nipped at the bud. Just imaging comments coming from some supposed knowledgeable fellows in this forum. I hear some people saying "its their STATE Owned University, thus has the prerogative to make laws that suits them". This was how Sharia started in ths country!! It is the University prohibiting ALL other Religious, Ethnic and Cultural activities in the school. Next it will be brought into the Secondary schools and Primary schools. Then the Local Govts and market places. Next thing you know, the State Assembly bans ALL other religious, Ethnic and Cultural activities in the state. If not Islam or Islamic activities, then nothing! After all, its their state and they can choose to enact laws that suits them as echoed by some 'very' intelligent individuals here. And while this is happening, other northern and Muslim predominant states are adopting and replicating this ideology. When we say there is a plan to islamise the country, some people, out of ignorance or mischief, say 'How can that be possible?' Those saying is ok for the Katsina state owned university to ban all other Religious societies other than Islamic, hope they will say same thing if a similar thing is done in the southern part of the country? |
BudeYahooCom:Well said! |
greatiyk4u:I believe you're an adult. I also believe with your spoken English you are educated. Thus, can handle a position of responsibility if given such opportunity. Now let me ask you, are you criminal minded or fruadlent? I already know you will say NO. Fine, no problem with that. So if you feel you are good enough and even honest, then there are also other even more honest and responsible people around. If on the other hand your answer is YES, you're not upright, please don't assume every other person is like you. Now do you think with the way politics is run in this country honest individuals like you stand a good chance of winning elective positions if you venture, thereby providing a better way of governance? With the Biafra we are aspiring for, there will be no room to celebrate criminality both in government and outside. Know the best part, we don't have be be SAINTS or import SAINTS to achieve that. So, keep sleeping while we work. |
MyGeneration:Surely, not mine!! |
WeNigerDelta:Bros, what's your brand..? I wish people like you will make up the negotiation committee on Self determination from your place as discussions go on. |
steppin:I really don't believe the name the new nation will bear is the problem. They are just changing goal posts in the middle of the game. Before now, it was 'Igbo are land grabbers'. We don't want Biafra, we want 'Resource Control'. 'Igbo man cannot be trusted'. Now it is, Change the name from Biafra to something else. We will soon be hearing, 'who will be the first President of the new nation?' Someone has even asked 'what will be the National Language?' Seriously, this people are not serious!! We are in a nasty situation together and we are saying let's escape together to a place. Instead of them to say FINE, LET'S DO IT!! They are there saying they don't like the name of the place we want to Escape to.' 'What language will we speak when we get there?' Watch it, someone will come here and start saying our currency should not be Biafran Pounds; it should be changed. |
WeNigerDelta:You are stranded at a place and its beginning to get dark and dangerous. Then someone drives along with a car and say, hop in. You say, I don't like the name (make) of your car, if you could change it, I will join you. If I were the man in the car, I will say to you, sorry, I bothered to help. |
Op, Real politics has little to do with ideas, values, and imagination?? I see... Why won't nonentities be in government? Why won't idiots govern the sane? Why then do we complain in this country of lack of developments? Why do we grumble when inflation, unemployment rates, institutional and sectoral decays rage so high just because betrayers, full of intrigues and cynicism and all kind of con game find their way into government? Note I didn't say Elected into Government because, I believe, majority of the electorates want something good for this nation. Any wonder why things are not going the way it should in this country?? You pride yourselves wonderful politicians with such attributes as intrigues, plots, betrayals, and great deal of cynicism and every kind of con game. And you cry when we call you lots two-sided and back stabbers.. Well, if this is how you people see politics, we are happy not to play so dirty. |
Honestly, I wish he could. |
Kenistry:Yes, I'm Biafran all the way. However, I have this Philosophy: if I'm asking for a full plate, and I'm served half, I will take the half plate and continue to press till I get my full plate. |
Are you seeing what I'm seeing? ...The Government's new romance with the SouthEast. What is the reason for this new political romance with a people they called the 5%? The political re-aligning has started. The North, ably represented by the presidency, haven used and dumped the SouthWest, is beginning to make some overtures towards the 5% people. Of course, the body language of the S/West shows they won't be flying a North-S/West kite come the next electoral circle. Now the questions are these: :¤:- Who would the SouthWest fly with? :¤:- Will the SouthEast, aka 5%ers, swallow the dirty insult from PMB and roll with the North; and also run the risk of being given the Tissue Paper treatment? :¤:- Will the SouthSouth stick with their Igbo cousins? The SouthEast People are a Unique people and we are very proud of that. We are not mere 5% people. We are hugely more than that and NO ONE will treat us like Tissue Paper to be dumped after being used and soiled. Umu Igbo, muru'nu anya!! It is time the North stay on their own, the SouthEast stay on their own and the SouthWest stay on theirs as well. Let there be a stalemate on the first round of election. Then, whoever needs our support can come to us. We will then sit, present our demands, negotiate, and discuss terms!! Oh yes, we can also take the lead and convince others why they have to support us to run the Government. We are NO political-bride to no one!!! |
0ganiru:I'm very much with drss2 on this. Honestly, I'm sick of what keeps this contry crippled. I'm so sick of those who believe there's nothing wrong with the contry, let's remain status quo. Now, I'm even more sick of those who just mouth "retructure" without the drive to push for it, yet die of envy when they see those asking for self determinaton with the necessary push it requires. |
Pavore9:Thanks a great deal! I will do that. |
OP, You have raised valid areas of concern about the Biafra as it bothers you. Now, I'm going to attempt to answer your questions. Concern1: Biafra may not be better for Niger Deltans because Niger Deltans may end up living one form of subjugation for another... Igbo, no doubt, will be the major ethnic group if Biafra is actualised. Answer: Ndigbo is not interested in dominating anyone or group. We have this ideology of "Live and let Live". So, major ethnic or not, we will be more concerned in developing ourselves than politics. Have you wondered why we Igbo are poor players of politics in the Nigerian context. Ndigbo view politics from the fairness angle while others see politics as a game of compromise even if it means back stabbing. Concern 2: Where will the capital be located? Answer: Choosing the capital of Biafra should not be a big deal. A more central state can be adopted to be the Capital. Again, heads of provinces/states can vote on a round table where the Capital should be located. Concern 3: The issue of annexation comes to play. Answer: You posted a map in your article. One thing I want you to note is that some of these maps being circulated may not be the official map being worked with. Asaba, Ugheli, Agbor, etc were in the old Mid-western state and as such were not part of Biafra which comprised mainly the Old Eastern Region. Anybody can post anything on the media, but if its not from or sanctioned by the Pro-Igbo office, like IPOB, MASSOB, etc, you may jettison it. Concern 4: What languages will be made the official languages of the new nation? Answer: Should this be a problem? In a multi lingual state, official language becomes English. Concern 5: What and what have Igbo nation done for Niger Deltans to gain their trust? Answer: Honestly if by now you still don't believe you can trust Ndigbo to do as they say/promise; if you still don't believe Igbos are trust worthy people, then you can't be convinced to trust them. Concern 6: Who will lead the new nation? 7: Still on the issue of leaders, are the new leaders going to fall from the skies or they are simply going to change addresses from Abuja to Enugu? Answer: when people ask this question I laugh at their ignorance. Do you mean a fair and credible election can not be conducted by adults? Electoral systems that are anti rigging like 'queuing behind your candidate's representative' and be counted will be adopted. Or are you trying to say that apart from these crop of criminals in government we have today, there are no credible people left in your community that can hold elective or appointive positions? In the proposed Biafra, every province or state or whatever you call it will be responsible for his speed and level of development. It will be a federating nation with a weak center. I don't have to answer all your raised concerns. I believe with what I have said so far, you already have idea the direction Biafra is taking. Cheers!! |
ndoeyopbennet:You like his suggestion that Port Harcourt or Uyo should be the Capital of Biafra but you don't like it to be in Enugu because it will be too far for people in C/River or Akwaibom to access. How central are P/Harcourt or Uyo in the Biafra Map? Where now is your objectivity? |
Greetings fellow farmers! We are looking at starting a cattle ranch around Okigwe Hills in Imo state. Who knows how best to acquire land there? Thanks, as I await your response. |
sarrki:Just listen to yourself... Very important national issues will be on the discussion table and the likes of you will just be making a nonsense of it. ...are you in JSS 3? Must you talk?? Do you and your likes think this economic situation affecting millons of people is a joke?? |
AMEN!!! |
Funnicator:Spot on! Some people here are so unbearable!! |
Does the fraud expert and his crew know that? No, they don't. |
BiafraudExposed:Mr fraud exposer', was your friend who lost his leg(s) a member of IPOB? If he were and was duly registered, he would have been treated by IPOB. That is part of what those money contributed is for. None IPOB members don't contribute any money and no one is forced to make any contributions. Membership of IPOB is by self decision. Many of us ignore you here, but I see that has made you feel you're really doing a great job at exposing "frauds". Let me ask you, do you think IPOB is just a gathering of riff-raffs who got no vision? Know one thing: IPOB matches her words with action; IPOB knows how to take care of her own. |
