Know this, while you're here opening threads about wheather SS supports Biafra or not, high powered delibrations are going on between agitators of SE and SS states.

Whether non-Igbo SS people join the Biafran quest or not, it does not stop us from going. Afterall, there are so many full fledged nations with populaton under 25 million. The Igbo race is up to 30million in populaton. (Least we can accept to remain as Nigerians is as a federating state. The one people call 'True Federalism')

Well, is a gradual process. Even though I believe the government can do better. Nigerian Army use Innoson buses, FRSC use their cars, I have also seen Innoson jeeps as part of a government convoy. If the Federal government should initiate a directive that Innoson vehicles (Nigerian made vehicles) should make up to 40% of any government fleet and all government agencies , it will go a long way.

Arrant Rubbish!!

Igbos are everywhere so what? If they are doing business in those places, are they renting more than a shop each which they duly pay for? How many of them has a business premises that spans up to 1 acre compared to the grazing fields the government is proposing for cattle? So it is ok for you and your type to allow fulani cattle men to take their cattle through people's farms, while the farmers keep quiet just so that there will be 'peace' and Igbos can live 'safely' in the north? In your view and the types like you, It is very ok for the government to dispossess people of their land (some unlucky ones may have just that piece of land passed to him by his generations gone ) and give to nomadic fulanis to use just so that there will be peace for the Igbos every where? It is very right for the government to use tax payers money to fund a grazing commission for the nomadic fulani to do his business but the nomadic Igbo business man can continue to have that 2x2 size shops as the Yorubas call them, yet pay heavily for it, taxed heavily for it and also pray the shop is no set on fire by those who feel Igbo man came to his place to take all the money away? Just so that the Igbo man who is everywhere will be safe ?

You must be a strange species of human to be thinking like this.

Let me shock you and your likes. The new school of thought now among some of us is that, any of our Igbo men and their Family that are still in the Hot North till now are there at their own detriment. We are done appealing to them to come back home or even to safer neighboring states. Imagine people going all the way to Kano, Kaduna, Zanfara, Bauchi to be selling plastics, provisions, medicine, etc some even carpenters and bricklayers. Are there no other safe states that they can do business? Who wants to die can die!!

Take heart, Sir. Be strong for yourself and for your kids, you're all they got now.

This is the 'one Nigeria' some people say we must be in. What was her crime now? Did she disrespect the host community? Was her offence the fact that she sold plastics? Or that she asked some person(s) who were about to soil her shop premisis with water and probably cause obstruction to potental customers in the process of performing ablution, to shift to another side? No problem. Day of reckoning is coming. Even the devil will bear us withness.

To my Igbo brothers up North, I ask you, is it not time to come home? What are you selling there that can not be sold home or in the neighboring non Igbo states that are not blood thirsty like the muslem North?

PoliticsThe Nigerian Government And The Niger Delta Militants. by ceaz4r(op): 1:19pm On May 28, 2016
On a negotiation table, not all demands are met and not all demands are rejected. It is a banter. It is dog fight between people who want to reach a common ground for a peaceful and more cordial relationship or interaction.

“To the IOCs, indigenous oil companies and Nigerian Military, watch out, something big is about to happen and it will shock the whole world.”

This quote is credited to the Niger Delta Avengers.
It is only a f00l who will go in and sleep and say 'nothing de happen'.
This is the best time to call for a genuine negotiation.

A major demand of the Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) is that of Self determination and to have a sovereign state. This may be a huge bone for the federal government to swallow. However, the federal government can negotiate for a smaller bone. They also asked for the implementation of the resolutions reached on the last confab. Is that too much to ask? If truly the federal government want 'One Ngeria', negotiation is best now. For after now, the shit will hit the fan.

You lots are saying the continuous blowing of pipelines by the militants is only polluting their land. Wow...! How so caring of you!! Suddenly you now know that oil spillage degrades the land and environment. How many of you have written or advocated in one way or the other for the federal government to clean up the land in the Niger Delta damaged through exploration activities which is a major source of revenue to this nation? How many of you have sang it in the ears of the government the dangers of prolonged degradation of the environment in the Niger Delta? There were several warnings before the explosions started going off. How many of you put the federal government on heat to do the needful? In fact, you lots were calling them chest beaters, empty threats, etc. Now the militants have started blowing up things, the language the federal government understands, you now realize their environment is at risk by such activities.
So reminding the militants that blowing pipelines will cause damage to their land is irrelevant because a man who is already on the ground cannot fall any further.

If your echo for One Nigeria is genuine, encourage the federal government to negotiate for true Federalism. In fact, your push should be for a Federalism & not for military action in the Niger Delta. Trust me, should this escalate further, everyone will have a fair share of the casualty.
PoliticsNdigbo Let's Bargain With What We Have. by ceaz4r(op): 12:05pm On May 21, 2016
Igbo e kene'm!!

For decades now, we have been striving for self governance. While we work towards achieving this noble goal, let us use what we have to get what we want.
We hold the commerce of this nation and to a lager extent, the economy too. Over 90% of the importation into this country is done by the Igbos. We keep the ports in Lagos functional and busy. We also hold sway in engineering and fabrication.

Let's run a government in a government. We have what it takes.
Hence I suggest the we bring our businesses home. Let's build an economic empire. A formidable nation within a nation; an African China/Russia/USA even as we work towards independence. Since the national government has refused to make our sea ports quite functional compelling us to use Lagos Sea Ports, let's tell them we are smart too. Let ALL our containers landing in Lagos port be hauled down South East-South south intact whatever goods there may be! Berges are known to be able to run on shallow waters. I believe they can come right up to Onitcha port. If they can't, then we haul them on road. Dangote has his trailers that haul his cements. We can also have our own Eastern Haulage Coy. hauling our container goods. Let those regions who feel we are suffocating them with our presence and Businesses now come down east to buy the goods.
WHAT WE STAND TO BENEFIT
This will cause a rapid transformation in the Eastern region. Several new businesses will spring up. Several billions will be generated daily. Revenues from shop rents, business taxes, will be used in the eastern region to further develop her. Nobody will burn our shops at midnight or demolish our markets again, cos the shops and markets will be built by our people nd used buy our people. There will be influx of business. New cities will emerge. Factories and processing plants will be built. What to process? There are several hectares of cashew trees wasting whose fruits can be processed into juice, jam etc. Same for Pineapples. Our land is fertile Rubber, Oil Palm trees, Plantain/Banana etc. Several jobs will created. This will cause so much money to be circulating in the East. (Note that by Eastern Nigeria, I mean the present day South East & South South.)
Good news is we don't need our figure head Governors, Senators & political leaders to achieve this feat. All we need is a conscience reawakening. A huge sensitisation the like we got from Nnamdi Kanu. All we need to do is to bring our major businesses home and leave the branches or skeletal services outside our region. Again, this way, no one will threaten us with 'abandoned property' thing again.

Some people here are so shallow. See their response like students in the secondary school. Protocol demands you inform the number 1 citizen of a Country, State, Local Gvt. Etc of your visit. This is for security reasons, protocol, & logistics. This is because for the duration of time you are in that domain, The first Citizen is responsible for your security. Should something happen to you, He/She will be held accountable. This is not about which Party is in power.

1,000,000 cocoa trees in the making?!! Wow!!!
100,000 + jobs being created!!!

I wish our politicians can think like this!!!

Imagine if this were replicated in cash trees/crops like Cashew, Bitter cola, Pineapple, Oil Palm trees, Rubber, etc with each creating a similar number of jobs ...

Imagine building factories to process and add value to these produce...

How many unemployed will this take out of the streets directly? How about the multiplier effects its gonna cause? How many new cities will emerge as a result? Thereby triggering more houses to be built, more schools, hospitals, roads, hotels/eateries, banks, insurance firms, markets/shops etc?... All of these employing more workers!!

How I so wish our Ministers & Commissoners could think like this!

Long Live the Ooni!!!

Mr Amb if you're a diplomat and this is how much you know as to what led to the civil war, then it puts a question mark to your status. By your name, it suggest you're Igbo, so its even more annoying that you know little of what made you're people fight.

From what you just wrote, you mean Ojukwu unilaterally declared independence of a nation? With out discussions & consultations with high ranking military officers like himself & civilians alike?
Oga, please go back and complete your history class. Your information is maligned and biased.

If you truly want to know what happened and what led to the war, I believe there are still some people who were at the center of the happenings then privy to privileged information that are still alive. Seek them out and ask them. Ask them not their opinions 'cos our opinions differ, but ask them to state the facts as it were. The consultations and mandate that led to that Ahiara declaration.

PoliticsFulani Heardsmen Attacks, National Grazing Zones, & Islamization Of Nigeria. by ceaz4r(op): 8:22am On Apr 28, 2016
The recurring spates of attacks from these heardsmen and the level of destruction they leave in their wake has become a thing of great worry. Nigeria is gradually sliding into a precarious situation.

It is becoming obvious someone or group has an agenda. When we say someone is hell bent on islamizing Nigeria, some people out of ignorance say, no one person or group can islamize Nigeria.

Ask yourselves these pertinent questions:
1) Why are there so many recurring cases of Fulani heardsmen attacks in recent times?
2) Why is the President very silent about it & hence these attacks go on unabated?
3) Why is there the discussion of creating National Grazing Zones in the country coming this same time there are repeated cases of gruesome attacks in several states?
4) Now, fourthly, are there no grasses in the north? If they can farm vegetables & other crops in the north, can't they grow grasses for their cattle? Why can't those thousands of kilometers of empty & uninhabited lands in the north be converted to graving lands? Streams & rivers run through these lands, so they can have all season green land if they apply irrigation agriculture to it.

If the National Grazing Policy comes to effect and grazing zones are created in all states in the south, where the National Grazing Commission has the powers to take up land, and to a size of land that it deems fit, what do we have in our hands? You and I know that this will be in several kilometers per state/s.
Remember it is marked for grazing, not for businesses or housing estate or building of cluster industries, etc, no. It is for GRAZING! So this becomes automatically an Hausa/Fulani community. (Or please tell me, are there Igbos,Yorubas, Ijaws, Tivs, Urhobos, etc also into cattle rearing & nomadic activities?) So this becomes their homes. They build their houses, their mosques, their markets, have their Emirs & Sarikis. Procreate & expand. We're talking of gazzeted zones running in kilometer squares each. Now I ask again, should this happen, what do we have in our hands?

If the Fulanis coming from afar can strike with this level of destructions, how about when they now have a place within us? Where they now have a takeoff base/command base/strike base. If a few of these Fulanis can visit a community and instill this much fear & destruction on a whole community what do you imagine they can do when they now have a base right within us. If they can come from several miles away and pillage a whole village and occupy such community, what happens when they are now taking off from within?

Fulanis are Jihadists. They bring in Islam with violence as they go. Very same of how they brought in Islam in northern Nigeria. Uthman Dan Fodio comes to mind. Now descendants of this man have been known to preach they will never rest till the Qur'an is dipped into the sea in the Southern part of Nigeria. Even President Mohammadu Buhari, some years ago was caught on record to say "I will continue to show openly and inside me the total commitment to the Sharia movement that is sweeping all over Nigeria. God willing, we will not stop the agitation for the total implementation of the Sharia in the country.”
So, people of the south, count your teeth with your tongue.

Full quote:

Retired General Buhari on Sharia Law:
"Sharia should be introduced in full across Nigeria…I will continue to show openly and inside me the total commitment to the Sharia movement that is sweeping all over Nigeria…God willing, we will not stop the agitation for the total implementation of the Sharia in the country…It is a legal responsibility which God has given us, within the context of one Nigeria, to continue to uphold the practice of Sharia wholeheartedly and to educate non-Muslims that they have nothing to fear…What remains for Muslims in Nigeria is for them to redouble their efforts, educate Muslims on the need to promote the full implementation of Sharia law."
-– Former Military Head of State, Gen. (Rtd) Muhammadu Buhari, speaking in Kaduna at a seminar organized by the Supreme Council of Sharia in Nigeria, August 2001.

http://republicreporters.com/let-buhari-recant-his-2001-islamic-expansionist-doctrine-then-well-believe-his-nobody-can-islamize-nigeria-in-2014/

http://www.vanguardngr.com/2014/12/insurgency-buharis-call-full-sharia/

http://allafrica.com/stories/200108270276.html

Now look at the scenario here:

Fulanis continue to invade and pillage communities down south picking their targets at their discretion, unabated.

While at this, create so much fear and confusion.

Create a lot more fear and pandemonium so much that when we throw the idea that creating a National Grazing Zone is the panacea, they, the south will openly welcome it.

Then the Grazing zones are created. Which in effect they have just succeeded in creating Launching/command zones using constitutional powers.

Then in the fullness of time, commence a simultaneous attack throughout the south of Nigeria with so much destruction and overrun the whole of the south in days!

A word is enough for the wise. Let those who have ears hear & listen.

If you can not condemn Tinunbu, especally in the same magnitude you cast aspersions at Saraki for the same/simliar crime Tinunbu is said to have committed, then you are morally bankrupt and thus, have no moral justificaton to condemn Saraki!

... and please don't come patronising us with that 'The court didn't find Tinumbu guilty' cos the court is also yet to find Saraki guilty.

Some of us don't care if Saraki is jailed. What we are saying is, if Dick and Harry are guilty of same offence/crime, jail them both! Don't jail Dick and set Harry free hinging it on some 'technical' errors. Now you have discovered the error in judgement, reopen the case and correct the error!!
