Its like glo subscription has stopped working! I strongly believe that it was done on purpose,i mean stopping us from watching dstv on mobile until they finish selling their drifta

folex:
guess as much after getting the sim to browse got the response subscription not allowed. However the free plan is still going.

are u saying that u can still get dstv subscription thru glo 10mb data plan?

Watching manchester united VS arsenal on super sport 10 live on dstv mobile

Tottham VS mancity live on supersport 10 dstv mobile

folex:
Thanks, will also try this option. But then as far as am concerned, glo sucks!!! Is the dstv mobile subscription still free on glo for the maxi plan?

y3s! Still fr33

The poster is a nairalander who registered a new account to play nairalanders, check this,his first post is about dstv software and not commenting on other people's thread

@seun and mods is this thread a sales thread? "NOKIA SU-33W TV RECEIVER UPDATE" its one of the best thread in mobile section and its all about MOBILE TV UPDATE.YES! su-33w receiver and the mobile tv headset is sold there does not mean its an ad thread,we talk more about mobile tv there so i wonder why the thread was moved from sticky to sales section, make i no lie the thing pain me o! Nobody sell phone there except the mobile tv receivers,and that thread is the only mobile tv thread wey don go far,put am back for its normal place,if anybody advertise phone for sale there,then delete it

SoLD!!! Thread closed!

Hey guyz, it seems ETISALAT has joined d moving train, does any1 use it?,

is urs working with etisalat sim?

folex:
ss10 & ss3 broadcast the same programm 95% of the time. Cj i just purchased a glo sim but unlike the other network in which my fone connect and browse automatically, am finding it hard to connect and browse on the glo line (it has been registered). Called the customer care and settings was pushed but still no joy, cant even see the 3g or edge sign. Whats the way out abeg.

spacyzuma:
Dude, all those pushed setting don't work anymore. You have to manually create the access point yourself.

APN = gloflat
username = flat
password = flat
authentication = normal
proxy = 'leave it blank'
I.P. = 'leave it blank'

Make this your default/only access point, and your connections should go smoothly.

I wonder why Glo doesn't make gloflat their official access point. Instead they're still pushing Glo 3G, Glo Direct, Glo Streaming, etc to devices. Disgusting!

after u hv finished putting the settings manually, go to ur mobile tv settings, access point for purchase: choose the gloflat u configured manually and press ok,when u are purchasing dstv rights,it automatically connects to gloflat

I beg to disagree. It isn't easy and ordinary/innocent posts MAY (the spambot as it bans people indiscriminately so what the heck?) be blocked but it'd greatly curb the posting of the Phone Ads in this section and restore sanity to the board.

Take a glance at all the Phone Ads posted and you'll notice something common to all of 'em. . .a PHONE NUMBER for interested buyers/sellers to get in touch with the OP..

My suggestion is thus: (1) A thread should be created (by the Admin himself cos this would carry more weight) to tell people to post their Phone Ads in the Phone/internet Market Sub-section and not here and warn them of the consequences of not complying (2) Program the spambot to knock off all (new) threads posted in this section in which PHONE NUMBER(S) are dropped to the Phone/Internet Market and also automatically ban the posters & (3) Empower the moderators with the power to ban (in this section ONLY) people who deliberately flout the rule and somehow escape the spambot and post their Phone Ads here.

In cases where the spambot bans posters, the ban message should read something like ''You have been banned for posting a Phone Ad in the Phone Section. If this is a mistake send a mail to antispambot@blablabla.com or report to the moderator'' _{so I suggest the moderators of this section are also given the power to unban as well so the Super Moderator and Admin don't get overworked.}

The mods will continue to move completely off-section topics to the boards they ought to be and carry out their other mundane moderating functions.

If the above measures are not implemented and a new mod is just appointed, he'll do initial ''gra gra'' at first but get tired l8r cos frankly he can't be ONLINE always and he'll eventualy get overwhelmed cos the rate at which these Phone Ads are posted is alarming.

Just my free 2 kobo

ur talk make sense,they use phone numbers,what if they start using emails? I mean ,asking people to get intouch thru emails

Who says that super sport10 isnt ok! Just watched arsenal match live on dstv mobile ss10
