Honestly speaking I've never been to the south east so I don't know if the killings you speak of in 2015 or the ezu river is actually true......but if this things are really happening and you guys have governors and your celebrities with large audiences and reasonable influence in lagos couldn't speak up then it's quite telling and I see why most see Nnamdi kanu as a leader.......still the point am also trying to make is that if they were killing while you guys were peaceful what do you think they'd do when a few of you pick up arms and start attacking the army.....it would simply be more excuse for them to double down and turn the region into a war zone and as we speak right now war is a very profitable venture in Nigeria especially for northern politicians. Am not against
self defense or war but why fight a war you guys are obviously not prepared for and end up losing with needless deaths, do you guys have considerable support of the Igbo ruling class, do you have nukes, do you have crude oil you can hold....you guys are being played and only time would tell how it's going to end.
don't worry about the east. military oppression is not new in the east. the only difference now is when army will come, they will meet armed group ready to die with them. they will meet a volunteer heart that have already done their funeral while alive.
the army killed innocent pple because they had biafran flag now they will meet a prepared group.only Boko Haram is giving them headache, now they will meet ebola virus

foolishness is doing the same thing and be expecting different result. learn from the mistake of ur groundfather but u said no. keep fooling urself with stupidity thinking that is wisdom. Little wonder they say half education is a dangerous thing bcoz the person will feel he knows it all.
the message is simple. allow Justice to reign or u will have no peace. the voice of freedom equity and justice has risen and there is nothing anyone can do about it. there is no room for slavery it's either we achieve freedom or die trying. we call for peace, they say No, we asked for equity, they say No No No, what do they want, they said status quo where we will be subversive to them. how can princes ( the children of light) go on leg while slaves go on horses? it's our right not just to live but to live with dignity.

As long as security agents continue to impoverish is through illegal exploitation points in the name of checkpoints, there will be no peace.bikin way say his mother no go sleep will not only be awake but receive punishment.

Wait, for those saying it's not in his power to include any airport he wants due to government unwritten policy against the East, I ask why is a professional if he can not convince the powers that be on what should be done. Even Rose another staff there would have advised him better. Anyway, let him continue what ever suits him.

u are ignorant on how governance work in Nigeria. even a minister doesn't have absolute power to make such decisions let alone an agency under him. why do u thing every region wants to occupy Asorock? even if ur angry with igbo Elites, don't make a fool of urself. think we'll before u comment on public domain

[quote author=bigtt76 post=90366162]Break-up is totally fine it's the after effect that is the issue. Within the Igbos, you have minorities and that is why it's always difficult getting a consensus among them compared to the yorubas and Hausas.

u speak what u know nothing about. there is no minority within Igbo ethnic group. they are Republicans by nature like like ur Yoruba/housa that enjoy being under a slave masters. in Igbo land no single individual is too strong to detect the destiny of the people. they always come together and take decision that affect them all. have u asked urself why no sub-ethnic within igbo land colonized each other.

well my opinion is different. the mandate we gave him was 4yrs. if he fail to impress the pple of the state within this period, we will vote him out as we did to ohakim. one thing is certain, imolites don't forgive politicians, they don't give then second chance and they know how to protect their votes, we did it to ohakim, we did it to Rochas when when want to impose his In-law on us and we will not hesitate to extend it to Ihedioha if he fails. but I believe he will not disappoint the pple. may God help imo state

Brother, Are you from Imo State? Are you supporting him because of Party or because you are from Mbaise ?

I am from the state, mbaitoli precisely. if u say Emeka is not doing anything, it either ur not from the state or an enemy of good governance. i don't like speaking for politicians because I don't trust any of them to maintain consistency for a long time but for now, Ihedioha is doing well. he understands governance, rule of law & due process. apart from on-going construction/ rehabilitation of critical roads in d state, he is trying to revive dead state own companies. u may not be away of the ongoing partnership with CBN & bank of Agriculture to revive Adapalm or what is being done to resolve the legal dispute on owerri shoe industry. pension is being paid regularly same with salary. my only interest in d state is her development, I am not a politician but all am saying is for u to make proper investigation b4 u write about any government be it state or Federal. ordinarily 6mnths is not enough to pronounce judgement on any first term governor so what we expect them now is to show the direction of their leadership

As wealthy as Igbos are you could see the underdevelopment in Igbo land.

Hausas brings a man to represent them and the whole Hasuas will support him. Yoruba brings a man to represent them and the Yorubas will support him. Can Igbos provide one person to represent them without internal fracas amongst them?

Is this how they will manage Biafra? Ijaws are already waiting for the declaration of Biafra so they can call for their own nation

i
ur quite unreasonable. I don't know why d word biafra gives u ppl nightmare. igbos don't follow stupidly like goat. the whole of yorubas can worship Tinubu, the north can worship buhari, Igbos don't care. they worship no man but God. there is no division in igbo land. an average igbo man is trained from birth to think independently that is why they are Republicans. how has political worshipping in other regions brought development?

You can twist and misinterpret my post, for all I care.

Also, your attempt to whip up sentiment in your favour is childish. What has my remark got to do with "political correctness" and "complex challenge"... you iediot?

I am shell shocked that the one who claim to "live in Ohio" where ethnocentrism, tribalism and racism is totally discouraged is here supporting the same. I am not in doubt that you are one of those embarrassing Nigeria and Africa over there.

FYI, I do not only speak Igbo fluently, I write same too. Needless to add that I am a community leader who occupy various leadership positions in my town union, village meeting, clan and kindred meetings, Obviously, I am not your type.

Since you want to take a bullet for another... May the combined force of Agwu and Amadioha visit you!!!

if the state "is he not Igbo?Igbo Amaka " made you to vomit that dumb statement that the guy is more of yoruba than igbo bcoz he stays in Lagos Nigeria, it shogroupws u have a complex problem. the statement on its own did not attack any ethnic group it rather extolled the programmer's ethnic group. it that what u call bigotry? if indeed ur a community leader then it must be a community of fools. As for ur amadioha and agwu , I live above those powerless things. Nitwit. less I forget, what is the name of ur community?

It might interest you to know that Basic is more YORUBA, HAUSA or BINI than Igbo just like other Igbo kids born and raised outside the shores of Igbo land who cannot even understand Igbo language not to talk of Igbo culture.

BTW, abum nwafor Igbo.

You are not nwafó Igbo but EFULEFU. u must be related to Joe Igbokwe. are u saying that my kids Born outside igbo land are less of Igbos than those born in the East. political correctness has made some of reason like dumb ass. Even my relatives here in Ohio are proud of their Igbo heritage and am sure speak and write the language better than u. do u know how much we spend organizing extra classes for the kids to write and speak their mother tongue? u have a complex challenge.

IS OKOROCHA THE FIRST OR LAST?

WILL IHEDIOHA NOT LOOT?

MIND U, AM NO SUPPORTER OF OKOROCHA. ABAGWORO CAN ATEST TO DAT HERE

u are part of the problem and ur logic is very weird! anyone that encourages looting of public fund in anyway is a societal cancer like the looter himself and should be treated as such. the university was built with state fund. initially it was meant to be a permanent site for imsu but when the owerri Zone resisted the relocation of imsu, okorocha commandeered it. the govt has taken d first step by recovering it. the next thing to do is either make it a satellite campus for imsu or look for private investors that will manage it under favourable terms and conditions. stop arguing with poor logic and reasonings that will make u look stupid. sometimes u need to a break, read other comments and learn. the first step in advance learning is UNLEARNING of spurious knowledge.May the Lord enlighten our understanding that we may reason as intelligent mind and not animals
