Career5 Ways To Stop Being Busy And Start Being Effective by ceo247frolic(op): 4:56pm On Mar 26, 2016
We all are too busy. There is no doubt about that. Thanks to internet and smart phones, everybody is available all the time.

However, did you ever notice that the people who constantly mention that they are very busy are in fact the least effective ones? Being very busy is not an indicator of being effective or successful. Some people like to tell everyone around themselves how busy they are so that nobody asks them to take on another task. Also, some people like to seem very busy because only then they can feel important. If you also feel very busy or tell around that you are too busy, you probably cannot manage your time properly.

Below are some helpful tips for being more effective and less busy.

1. Don’t say yes to every task.

If you have more on your plate than you can actually complete, don’t say yes to another task just to please your boss. This will decrease your effectiveness and success rate because you have to divide your energy between different projects instead of putting all into one and finishing it off successfully.

2. Create time for your friends and family.

Know the value of your loved ones, always create time to spend quality time with them. Not everything is about working. You should recharge yourself and refresh your mind from time to time and spending time with friends and family is perfect for that. Thus, do something other than working and call your loved ones.

3. Prioritize.

Prioritize your tasks and stop wasting time with unnecessary tasks. For example; don’t constantly check your emails or social media accounts. Don’t feel that you are immediately obligated to respond. Finish what you are working on first and then, start responding to emails or returning to calls. You cannot do everything at once.
4. Do not let others distract you.

Focus all of your attention on the task that you are working on and do not let your coworkers or anything else distract you until you finish that task or until your break time. If you give all your energy only into the task that you are working on, you will see that it will take you less time to complete.

5. Get enough sleep and schedule breaks.

If you didn’t get enough sleep and still feel tired from the previous day, then, you won’t be able to work as efficiently as you want. Therefore, try to sleep early and get at least seven to eight hours of sleep every night. Also, set yourself breaks during the day to refresh your mind and stay away from your desk. This will help you stay more driven and in the end, you will finish your tasks faster.

CelebritiesFamily Problems! by ceo247frolic(op): 8:55am On Mar 24, 2016
Two men met at a bus stop and struck up a conversation. One of them kept complaining of family problems. Finally, the other man said: You think you have family problems? Listen to my own situation!

A few years ago, I met a young widow with a grown up daughter and we got married.

Later my father married my step daughter. That made my stepdaughter my stepmotherand my father became my stepson. Also, my wife became the mother-in-law of her father-in-law.

Then the daughter of my wife, my stepmother, had a son. This boy was my half-brother because he was my father’s son, but he was also the son of my wife’s daughter which made him my wife’s grandson. That made me the grandfather ofmy half-brother.

This was nothing until my wife and I had a son. Now the half-sister of my son, my stepmother, is also the grandmother!

That makes my father the brother-in-law of my child, whose step sister is my father’s wife. I’m my stepmother’s brother-in-law, my wife is the Aunty of her own child, my son is my father’s nephew and I am my own Grandfather!

Christianity EtcPHOTOS: TB Joshua Gives Libya Deportees N4million by ceo247frolic(op): 8:17am On Mar 14, 2016
This report is by freelance Nigerian journalist, Ihechukwu Njoku. Read below...

Thirty-nine of the reported 172 Nigerians who were deported from Libya on Friday 11th March 2016 were received by Pastor T.B. Joshua of The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) during his church service on Sunday 13th March. According to a post on the church’s official Facebook page, the deportees were each given the sum of N100,000 by Joshua, who is well known for his charitable gestures.

Fidelis Onos, who spoke on behalf of the group, said that most of them had been imprisoned for up to one year in Libya after they were suddenly arrested. The majority were working as bricklayers in the North African country where they had sought ‘greener pastures’. “We are not here to blame Libya,” Fidelis is quoted as saying. “If Nigeria was okay, we would never have left in the first place. It’s the war in Libya that turned it to what it is today – in a place where there is no government, what can you expect?”

He explained that United Nations officials visited the Nigerians in the Libyan prison and were touched at their plight, promising to arrange their repatriation back to Nigeria. They were finally able to travel under the voluntary returnee programme organised by the International Organisation for Migration (IOM).

Arriving in Lagos with only the clothes they came with, the deportees were provided with a meagre N6,500, leading to resentful outbursts from many at the airport. “Frustrated, angry and despondent, a group of them decided to seek refuge at The SCOAN, having watched Emmanuel TV in Libya,” the church wrote on their Facebook page.

“Upon learning of their arrival in the church, Prophet T.B. Joshua immediately sent evangelists to provide food, alongside medical aid to some of the most malnourished in their midst,” it continued. After giving the young men N3.9million ($20,000), many were emotionally moved and shed tears.

“If not for a man like T.B. Joshua, most of us would have ended up going into armed robbery, kidnapping or even joining a group like Boko Haram,” said Godspower Chibuike as he appreciated Joshua for the gift. “If youths were encouraged like this, we wouldn’t even think of travelling to places like Libya,” another deportee stated, adding that he had never seen such an amount of money in his life.

The group were subsequently provided with toiletries alongside brand new clothing, as they had worn the same set of clothes since their arrival in Nigeria. “Remember, what you make happen for others, God will make happen for you,” T.B. Joshua stated in the conclusion of the Facebook post.
