PoliticsIRONY: Abacha And Keshi Share Same Death Date! by ceo247frolic(op): 9:02am On Jun 08, 2016
What a world!!!

No matter how bad you are, no matter what you achieve and no matter who you are, All of us are subjects to the supernatural force of Death!!!

Today in 1998 one of Africa's most brutal dictators General Sani Abacha died. Abacha known as notoriously corrupt. He was the unelected President Of Nigeria from1993-1998. Official cause of his death was reported to be "hearth-attack" but rumour has it that his Indian ladies of pleasure served him "spiced apples"- reports which were never rejected!!

As we celebrated that day, 18 Years on we have lost a National hero!!!

One of African football's best-known figures, Stephen Keshi, has died at the age of 54, the Nigeria Football Federation has said.

A former captain of the Nigeria national team, Keshi was one of only two men to win the Africa Cup of Nations both as a player and a coach.

He also managed Togo and Mali, and his playing career included a spell for Belgian club side Anderlecht.

PoliticsGoodluck Jonathan Delivers A Speech At Bloomberg (Photos) by ceo247frolic(op): 11:26am On Jun 06, 2016
Goodluck jonathan recounts his pride in ensuring democratic handover of power in 7 African countries...

In His Words:

'My proudest moment was peaceful handover of power!!!

Since leaving office one year and one week ago, I have had the luxury of time to be able to reflect. I said before the last election that my political ambition was not worth the blood of one Nigerian. It is my sincerest wish that democracy continues to be consolidated in the continent of Africa. it has always been my consistent desire to help consolidate peace & cultivate democracy in Nigeria and across Africa. We will work for good governance by promoting credible and transparent elections, as well as peaceful power transfers.

The focus of my energies is to uphold democratic principles, promote peaceful transitions and support entrepreneurship: By providing an e-wallet to farmers which grew the percentage of registered farmers receiving subsidy from 11% to 94. This initiative improved food security, creating jobs and reducing inflation to its lowest levels in 5 years.

He also touched on his efforts on educating the populace and bringing government closer to the common man...

'I am proud of the fact that my Admin established a Fed Uni in the 12 States that did not previously have them. Money must go towards providing education for all, because we know that once citizens are educated, they have futures. Despite it not being the responsibility of the FG WE built hundreds of sec/pry schools across Nigeria.

And On Unity In Nigeria....

Equality promotes meritocracy, growth and security. Tribalism & regionalism should never be acceptable in Nigeria. We must go the next step and accept all Nigerians residing in any part of the country as equal citizens. Indigenes and residents must pay the same amount for school fees and social services all over the county. A Nigeria where you are judged on your merits and not your origins, A Nigeria where you can get the education you want and the future you choose. A Nigeria whose government serves the people and is not above the law. A place where we all work together, rather than allow ourselves to be divided by tribalism or prejudice, Nothing better sums up this vision for Nigeria than our national anthem, which sounds as good in prose as in song..

Politics"Killers Of Mrs. Agbaheme Must Be Brought To Justice" - Speaker Dogara by ceo247frolic(op): 8:48pm On Jun 05, 2016
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt Hon Yakubu Dogara, has condemned the brutal murder of Mrs. Bridget Agbaheme in Kano State, saying all Nigerians must rise against this grievous act of lawlessness and impunity. He asserted that the perpetrators of the heinous crime must be fished out to face the full wrath of the law.

A statement issued by the spokesman to the Speaker, Turaki Hassan, quoted him as saying that there must be justice for the victim who was allegedly killed by a mob in a market in Kano State over allegations of blasphemy.

“We live in a society governed by clearly stated rules and laws. When such crimes of high magnitude, or any at all, are allowed to go unpunished for any reason, we risk descending into a state of lawlessness and anarchy where anyone can assume the role of judge, jury and executioner.

The rule of law must prevail. I urge all security agencies to ensure that they carry out a thorough investigation into the events that led to her untimely death and ensure that the perpetrators of this crime are brought to face the full wrath of the law”, he stated.

Calling for tolerance among Nigerians, irrespective of religious or ethnic differences, the Speaker noted that the peace and sanctity of Nigeria is not negotiable and as such, everything must be done to protect them insisting that the fundamental rights of citizens enshrined in the constitution must be respected by one all.

Dogara condoled with the family of the deceased and prayed that God comfort them noting that it was not only their grief but that of all Nigerians of goodwill and, indeed, lovers of humanity.

Christianity EtcAnita Declares That She Is No Longer Part Of Christ Embassy by ceo247frolic(op): 8:35am On May 27, 2016
Chris Oyakhilome's Ex-Wife, Anita Declares That She Is No Longer Part Of Christ Embassy

I am reiterating this to ensure that no one is misled by the false rumours or unfounded statements that show up and are spread from time to time on the Internet, Pastor Anita said in a statement.

Sources at Pastor Anita's camp hinted that the on-going rumour was a desperate PR stunt initiated by Pastor Chris' sympathizers aimed at driving traffic to its crusade tagged Total Experience which kicks off at TBS, Lagos tomorrow, May 27.

Also aimed at generating positive 'talkability' for another event which holds in the first week of June 2016 in the UK. It would be recalled after bitter quarrel, power tussle and her accusing him of infidelity, Pastor Anita filed for divorce in London sometime last year.

Anita’s Statement on her website reads:

Important Information It has been brought to my attention that there are persistent rumors and misinformation about my marital status being circulated and I would like to address the certain reconciliation rumours with this statement. Further to the formal notification of the dissolution of marriage made by my Solicitors earlier this year, please note that this has not changed; and I am no longer a part of Christ Embassy aka Believer’s Loveworld or any such organisation in any capacity. I am reiterating this to ensure that no one is misled by the false rumors or unfounded statements that show up and are spread from time to time on the Internet. Any additional statement concerning me will be issued by my Solicitors, who are my legal representatives so please do not be deceived. Thank you and God bless.
Pastor Chris refused to follow his wife to court and distancing himself from all the divorce process. Sympatizers of Pastor Chris took to Facebook and other social media platforms with some uploading an intimate photo of the former couple with different captions including; “Thank You Jesus. Glory!”, "Pastor Chris and Anita Are Back Together".
