It's sad to have you think this way. One thing I know, the Chinese live to optimize cost yet maintaining standard, even enhancing standard. That stuff is made economical doesn't mean it's fake or wouldn't last, it just means someone has figured a better and easier way to make things work for everyone to enjoy. Nothing is new under the heavens. The Camon seems to have broken the Lumia record.

but some china brands i dont trust them with their camera pixels
interpolation is what they do to cut corners
and still claim high specs
they wont tell you its interpolated

check about the pic of S5.1 pro the design, they are pure beauty which made by two 2.5D glasses(front and back cover).
showed the highest design lever of smartphone. it's slim and very beautiful. please don't just only compare using the parameter. and also care something about the appearance and design.

Looks very much like the iPhone. Nothing particularly noteworthy about the design though. My opinion, I think the Camon has a more striking design, and it's very light.

I saw the Camon still selling at 3CHUB yesterday though. But for it to be sold out at Slot is something serious mehhn!

So yesterday, after gathering all of my 10kobo that i had been saving since I decided that I was going to get this phone.
I carried my 2 left legs to slot in Ikeja and to my greatest surprise. The camon c8 was sold out. As in finished, as in finished (the finishing shocked me so much that I had to repeat it)
My brain could not comprehend it and i started to have a one sided conversation with myself.

After all the James Bond I did getting to slot. Protecting my camon c8 money from even the wind.
The phone was not available, as in e no dey stand.
So the 25,900 is actually quite affordable for the phone to be sold out before closing hours on a Tuesday.
I had the following requirements when I decided that it was time to change my phone.
Picture quality; I love a good picture, not selfies, pictures of people going about their business, of sunsets, of flowers, of stationery vehicles, of random things that generally inspire a thought or a feeling. So in my phone quest the picture quality was the number 1 thing
Affordability was also a top priority for me, seeing as I am a broke Person with a serious case of wander lust and I have to plan every naira I make, I could not afford to make up a budget of more than 30k for a phone.No matter how much of a hurry I was in to cop a good phone. I could not afford to save more than my monthly pay could let. You know what I'm saying.
So there was tecno dangling this prime piece of technology before my very eyes at 25,900 leaving me with change for sharwama and a movie on Wednesday and you expect me not to take it?!!

I miscalculated one thing though, that I would be the only one with any of these requirements from a phone, hence the nonchalance with which I left my house not thinking other people might want the same things as me.
And I got to slot and met an empty camon c8 stand.

well I will rate the battery 50 percent but of the experience I hav had wit GIONEE M3 with has a 5000 mah battery that is super long lasting but this camon c8 too is trying at least the ultra power saving feature can help u conserve it very well

You can't compare Gionee 5000mAh with 2000+mAh na. ahan! Your 50% rating isn't biased rara. LOL. As for that Camon on, me I would experience it. I must experience it. I must have my own, and give my own review. y'all be rubbing it on a brother's face.

Am not saying that tecno is bad..but it can not be compared with a phone like levono...talkless of xiaomi...the king of Chinese smart phones which is even ranked higher than HTC

Tecno is also Chinese. I wouldn't be surprised if the Camon's camera also beats the HTC and the iPhone. The Chinese are actually awesome engineers. Impressing a nigga. Xiamoi is pulling stunt outside Africa mehn!

I think the tan effect of the first picture was what made the clouds a little more obvious though

The camon however seemed to do a crystal clear shot, making the clouds blend with the sky.
