First mistake, you are paying the bills and still doing house chores when she's not contributing anything to the bills.

Second mistake, you showed her that you can do house chores and she capitalized on that to manipulate you to do more of it.

Third mistake, she is giving you the sign that she wants you to be paying the bills and still be doing house chores because you must help her (entitlement) and you have totally falled for it.

lastly, instead of you to cushion her and put her in her place kitchen remember;

Solution


Tell her that you cannot help her do her duties since you are fulfilling yours. if she continuously Insinuate that you help her out, tell her to help you with the bills too and hear her response.



NB: She has already given you the red flag with her statement.

Its funny but you need to live with a Nigerian girl to actually know who they really are. Of course this is for a girl you have a serious relationship with that might lead to marriage

Personally I don't like doing house chores as I see it as a lady's job. If I'm providing the money and paying almost all the bills, then these little things(house chores) shouldn't be a problem for the lady I'm dating.
I decided to create this thread because I'm always having issues with my girlfriend when it comes to house work. She is complaining that I don't help her in any way at home.
This is someone that I assist at home sometimes when I deem it necessary. I wash plates, sweep the house, sometimes cook when I know she needs help.
It becomes a problem when I refuse to assist her on a daily basis. I try to make her understand the fact that for me assisting her, doesn't make it my job. The funny thing is, she always makes this statement "if its like this, then I don't think it would work between us".

I just want to know if other guys are experiencing something similar and what's the best way to resolve it

there are loads of good movies this year, it's the covid 19 lock down that is holding everything. cinemas are still closed, so movies can't be premiered because if they release it, they will loose heavily.

For the past three months now I've been 'managing' to watch movies(Hollywood). I don't know if its just me or they have stopped making good movies.
If you are a fan of American movies, you would notice by now that nine out of ten movies you download are total waste of MB.
I just can't wait for this year to end so that I can start seeing good movies again. I tried watching Chinese movies but I couldn't stand their 'many tricks'.

Finally, if you know any good movie that was released this month, please share with me. Help a brother cause I really miss good action movies

Since majority of women are uncomfortable without makeup; can't attend public functions without wearing it, some even wear it while going to bed, it has to with identity perception.

Maybe u didn't get my point the first time. I said guys would rarely go after a girl with paints on her face for marriage bcus they know that is not her real face. They go mostly for d fun.

Married men encourage their wife's to do that cus they know she's already beautiful so a little bit of it would make her look even more better.

You speak of confidence bt the way I see it is that girls of nowadays suffer from inferiority complex. They are beautiful alright bt they are not comfortable or satisfied with it.

Society has made it so anyway. Girls are no longer ok with their true self cause they see their fellow girls as competitors.

I believe you need to, cause your assumption that ladies should go natural is immature and insensitive cause you made that statement without taking into consideration that not everyone is fine facially. While your "aunty natural" might appeal to people, someone with blemishes and ugly patches of skin won't. Some people will tell you that some ladies are finer with make up and should be appreciated with that.

Although some ladies are swans, others are ugly ducklings that need that "extra" boost of confidence. Same is applicable to men. Some men grow beards to enhance their "manliness" and I don't see anyone calling them out. Some gym to appear manly, some try to get pink lips to appear sexy etc.

Everyone should be allowed to do what they find confidence in.

From all what you've said one cannot help but notice that you re lover of make ups. Well let me tell you something, there is someone for everyone. I know some persons are born beautiful while others are not that fortunate. The fact that you re not all good looking doesn't mean you should go about deceiving people by covering it up. Like I said, there is always someone available who would love you the way you are.
Mind you, I'm not entirely against making up, a little bit of this and that would actually do. You don't have to look entirely different from your real self. I hope I made sense?

Is she straight as a pole?
Is her face filled with pimples?
Does she have blemishes or patches of dark spots on her face?

Oga, you will wipe off all makeup. Even cream you rub in the morning, you will wipe off at night. Same with deodorants. You go drinking beer and pee it out immediately. But you enjoy it while drinking, that is how they also enjoy makeup and its enhancement for the few hours they have it on. I don't get the point you're trying to make bringing using of cream and drinking of beer. These are entirely different things. At least they re not fake or you trying to get attention by being someone else

Some people are missing out the point of this whole thread, especially some guys here(I wonder why). Nobody is saying that wearing make up(moderate though) is a bad thing. Infact it actually enhances ur "natural beauty".
My problem is, why some ladies waste time and resources looking like someone they re not probably for some few hours of "attention" when they themselves know its all fake and deceitful.
I mean this is something you re going to wipe off in the next few hours so why waste money on it in the first place
