Not Attending Church Every Sunday. Is It Such A Big Sin? by cfree14(m): 8:22am On Nov 15
So today(Sunday) I decided to stay at home because of yesterday's wedding I attended. Not that I don't go to church but I came back home yesterday feeling very tired, even till this morning.

A neighbour saw me this morning and was like "Bros, you no go church today?" I tried to make him understand why but he kept on telling me how it's wrong not to go to church and stuff.

So the question on my mind today is, why do people tag others who "miss" Sunday service as sinners?

MrPresident1:
Donald Trump is king of America in the order of Anointed god-kings like Cyrus of Persia, both named by name in the Bible. Only an anointed god-king could have built the temple of God in Jerusalem.

Solomon did it. Cyrus did it. The Donald did it too! Jesus will do it!

This conspiracy against The Donald will unravel; the Donald will have a great victory, he will trump his enemies, he will triumph over all of them. The voice of victory will be loud and total and complete, without any equivocation. It will be clear to everyone that the Donald has triumphed over all his enemies.

President Joe Biden's tenure is not found in the Bible. Sleepy Joe will not be president.

1 Corinthians 15:52
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

1 Thessalonians 4:16
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

When President Trump triumphs and blows his trump and it becomes clear as daylight there is now no longer any opposition whatsoever to his kingship, rulership and and dominion, and that of America over the world too, then we will hear from heaven.

We will hear the trump of God.

2 Samuel 22:14-16
The LORD thundered from heaven, and the most High uttered his voice.
15 And he sent out arrows, and scattered them; lightning, and discomfited them.
16 And the channels of the sea appeared, the foundations of the world were discovered, at the rebuking of the LORD, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils.

Psalms 18:13
The LORD also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hail stones and coals of fire.

Everything before the end of this generation [of the sun].

Matthew 24:34
Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

I think it's a Nigerian mentality. I seriously doubt if it's like that in other parts of the world

Next FEBRUARY will make it my 13years Anniversary of staying away from Church and its related activities.
Join me as I mark such an adorable feat.

I prefer teaching my KIDS, standard Morals than enrolling them into "speaking in tongues" classes which they completely know nothing about.
CHURCH isn't the only place wia morals can be taught.
In Fact the teaching of MORALS usually stems from the home and the way we do things.
AFRICAN TRADITIONAL HOMES were birthed on morals even before the WHITES came.
KIDS respected their parents and assisted.
WIVES honoured their husbands.
Husbands were really heads and not now.

Not attending church is not a sin...

Attending with the wrong intension is the greatest sin...

Wrong intension as in: Flaunting that designers bags and shoes and clothes..

Flaunting your latest purchased vehicle..

Flaunting your aboki arse and boobies..

This is the same point where we do make the same mistake. We are not serving God here, what we are serving is our pastors not God.

Even most of us doesn’t read our bibles again. All we want is directions from our pastors but not from God.

Bible says anything you do that your heart condemned you is a sin.

So why thinking your absence in church is a sin. When most of does that in attendance are just there to show off their new cloth and all.

Find a true bible believing church to attend, if you can't find one, worship God in your house.
God looks at your heart.

Hmmmmm, our pastor carry church key travel grin grin. But on a serious note you are the church not the congregation, covid tot us all a big lesson that God is everywhere and u can worship him wherever, whenever.Sometimes you enjoy fellowship with God most when you are alone cz u don't bother about what to wear, how to behave and very free cz anything u do is from ur heart which is done willingly.Have not been in church since covid started and have been enjoying fellowship in my room more than ever, but be it as it may u are allowed is still not bad to be in church just know what takes u there and focus.Have been an instrumentalist for donkey years and I know distractions from personal experience.

I don’t think it is. But lately, I’ve realised it’s needed for spiritual growth. In this heavenly race, we need some kind of support. Hard to do it alone.

I want to really go back to church. I really do

its not a sin, but a way to avoid being carted away by the devil.
And if you must attend church regularly, please make sure its a very good church otherwise you might come out worse.
