Some are upset that people are posting better pictures of food. Why? Not everybody eats local dishes and hates to put their food nicely in plates. Why must the rest be subjected to that?

The funny thing is after taking my time to write this. . the lecturer cancelled the Assignment and gave us Test. I kept it anyway for a thread like this

The torn cheque represents the 'BLESSINGS THAT HAVE BEEN CUT SHORT'. a.k.a Blessings that have been hampered or stolen.

There is nothing anyone can do with a torn cheque.


Go into warfare prayers and pray that the hand of the enemy be cut short from tampering with your blessings. Your hour of visitation from the Lord has come. Recognise it. Pray about it.

please, i had a dream i dont understand at all.

i was in a gathering of people (of which some where my sec. sch. mates) and a competiton was thrown at us by who seemed like a science lecturer instructing us to go look for a signed cheque with a huge amount of money written on it, in what looked like an office. whoever finds it first is the winner.

We set off. . on getting there (i and some people), we were being shot at so we took cover but i recognized on of the shooters(his name is paul) and they stopped. told him what we were looking for and he promised to help, while i promised to share the money with him and his boys. At the end, he kinda found the cheque but it was torn into 2 i think. . because of the struggle on who gets it first. He had one part and someother person had the other. He said that was the one he could lay his hands on. he gave it to me and i woke up.

I think people should only take pictures of the food and not of themselves else some people might win votes owing to their looks rather than the food. At the end of the day, the voting will be based on how attractive and appetizing the food is and not whether it is delicious or not. To solve that issue, i'll suggest that i come in as a judge and get to visit every competitor in their homes and taste their food.

lets do a food pic competition every last friday of the month or last saturday. .

Steps;
1) Cook in your kitchen
2) Take a picture of the food
3) Take another picture of you with your food
4) post

the pic with the highest number of likes WINS
(P.s there will be no cheating at all. we would tell the mods to help us push it on front page. nairalanders will vote as they see it by clicking like. Also, we need 5 judges which would be selected here and of course sponsors the winner goes home with something nice.. we can have 1st 2nd and 3rd as well)

this issue is not an easy one because Lagos is one of the most visited place in Nigeria why? you can find absolutely almost everything you need in Lagos, and some of our village people, when they leave home, they come to lagos to hustle because it is highly commercial.

Lagos also have many industries and infrastructures which provides jobs to individuals . . this traffic issue is beyond Governor Ambode, he has tried. only one solution

Solution;
1) The governors of other states should do the needful by making their states more commercially active like lagos by building infrastructures, industries and the likes. (its just abuja and porthacourt thats competing with lagos) on the commercial aspect, and maybe Kano.

Ps. there are some states in Nigeria that are just quiet like our vice president, some people dont know if they still exist.
