FamilyRe: To Report A Cheating Wife To Her Husband Or Not, What's Your Take? by Chamack: 9:19am On Jul 06, 2014
uboma: I recently found out that the wife of my close pal is cheating on him. I do not want to meddle in their affairs but i have this sense of guilt not having told him what i discovered about his wife. If we weren't close, i wouldn't be bothered at all. I am also worried about the negative consequences it will have on their marriage if he gets wind of it.
If i keep mute, what chances are there that she will stop cheating on her husband?

And who knows, he may eventually find out himself in the long run...

What do you suggest please? I will appreciate responses from matured members here.
You can send your friend anonymous text using a code which I have here, not gonna release it. but did you catch her? If you did you would have to confront her to ask her the reason why she is doing so?

makazona: what a dumb analysis cum conclusion.with all due respect chamak,he is media shy and stil working.others are media frndly bt nt working.its unfortunate we celebrate laziness.i bet u knw nothing abt his oratory ability.
You are having a misconception about my stand.
PoliticsRe: Why is igbo's most performing governor 'sulivan' not popular by Chamack:
centje: Representation isn't about the loudest or the noisiest. It's about tactical moves that will impact the people you are representing and Nigeria in general. Doesn't it amaze you how chime was able to survive all the political turmoil in Enugu. It's about calculated moves devoid of 'blood and noise'.
I have never doubted his performance from day one. He is a blessing to Enuguites. I am only against his senatorial ambition due to his nature and media shy.

What I mean is poor representation, unable to pass bill and quality contribution other than motion for adjournment

passion007: Never underestimate the passive-aggressive.
I know you're inclined towards Ekweremadu...I also like him, but don't make Chime's easy nature a point against him.
Odogwu am saying it the way it is.
PoliticsRe: Why is igbo's most performing governor 'sulivan' not popular by Chamack:
passion007: What a peculiar conclusion!
I understand you may not like the man, but media-shyness has no bearing on one's output in the Senate.
Sullivan is one governor loved by everyone, and he has given reasons why he chose to keep the media out of his government.
He has tried, I like him as a performing governor but not for representation in the senate cos its requires one to be outspoken and not media shy. can he square up senators like Abdul Ningi, Smart Adeyemi,Ita Enang these are high ranking Senators whom their impact is felt in the house. Chime is media shy that it, he is Gil Nnaji in the making.( O Yes member)
PoliticsRe: Why is igbo's most performing governor 'sulivan' not popular by Chamack: 5:52pm On Jul 05, 2014
slimthugchimee: Am just askin we can hardly hear him on TV or even here in nairaland, you can hardly hear him calling APC that or PDP this. Its like he is in politics but not in politics.
Because he is media shy and this is person angling to represent Enugu West in the senate. A media shy person can't do well in the senate.

PoliticsRe: 2015 Election: Gov Chime-backed Candidate Loses In Enugu USA by Chamack: 3:07pm On Jul 04, 2014
signz: In a free and fair election, Ekweremmadu may win because I heard that Udi people don't like their son. They accise Sullivan of being elitist (Fayemi's sin too) and stubborn. That's why I included in my post that Ekweremadu can go to another party. Ekweremadu is a well known grassroot politician.
Ekweremadu is not representing Enugu West, he is representing Ndi Igbo in the senate. Changing him now for a useless reason will be a great loss to Ndi Igbo as a whole.
PoliticsRe: 2015 Election: Gov Chime-backed Candidate Loses In Enugu USA by Chamack: 3:02pm On Jul 04, 2014
otil1: @Signz, I must say that I admire you for standing by what you believe. It's good.

However, here are the facts. Ekweremmadu has risen in the Senate to signify something beyond Enugu. He is clearly the most successful Igbo senator so far. Even those who became senate presidents didn't bring as much as what he has and is doing.

In Igboland, we desperately need an arrow head and that's what Ike is today. He has brighter chance than most other people you have been hearing about.

Empowerment is not only when someone goes to Senate. In this matter, a hopeful star must be stopped short. Ekweremmadu's influence has empowered very many Enugu people and that influence is in upward trend.

My submission, is: let's harvest as much as we can of Ike's God-given growth in Nigeria political terrain because in the final analysis, a new senator may not climb to Ekweremmadu's influence point as of today, so collectively, are we gaining?

Yes, our democracy is young and has not reached that of the West but it is growing all the same and when we see someone with great potential, we should use it.

Meanwhile that's what's on in the North. Pls check.

Igbos need Ekweremmadu there.

That said, I am not even sure he wants to continue, cos he has not declared. But if I have access to advising him, I will join in begging him to go back there.

My respect pls.

And I'm no oga, just a 1st year Nairalander
You are wisdom personified. Thank you so much, reading from you is not a mistake.

PoliticsRe: 2015 Election: Gov Chime-backed Candidate Loses In Enugu USA by Chamack:
otil1: @Signz pls educate us on this step down democracy.

After praising the good works of Sen Ekweremmadu and even stating that he hath written his name in gold, what's therefore the rationale for him to step down?

We ask for responsive representation, a rare commodity and when we've found it we begin to advocate turn-by-turn.

Tell us how much u know about ranking in the legislature. You may wish to note that any new senator replacing him will be a green horn on the floor and may not be as influential, may not get good committee until much later, after second or 3rd tenure.

Meanwhile Ike has not declared. Only Gov Sullivan, his deputy, his chief of staff and almost all office holders, MD ikeje Asogwa (gov), Comm jude akubilo(rep), SPA abel nwobodo(rep), Comm emeka ujam (rep), chair Vita Abba(?)

You may wish to know also that Enugu USA new leadership has come out clearly that Sen Ekweremmadu was not part of their effort.

Enugu govt needs to put it's house in order and give Ekweremmadu a little breathing space. The demonstration of morbid fear for Ekweremmadu in every little thing does not portray our Gov in good light and it bothers me because I know the Gov is not as lame and politically dumb as his bunch of clueless handlers make him seem
Thank you my brother for asking him that question and good analysis. If they refuse to give Ekweremadu ticket and he leaves PDP to get ticket from another party, he will surely win Sullivan because he has touched lives In Udi, Ezeagu, Awgu, Oji River and Aninri, the edge he has over Sullivan is that the greater Awgu people that comprises of 3LGA will always give their vote in bloc to Ikeoha.
PoliticsRe: 2015 Election: Gov Chime-backed Candidate Loses In Enugu USA by Chamack: 9:15am On Jul 04, 2014
We the greater Awgu people will not support his senate ambition. Greater Awgu People Solidarity will always support our son Barr Ike Ekweremadu, Ike Oha Ndi Igbo.

bootstrap: Who cares if u insult pple online or offline... I am no hypocrite, I do, if and when I feel like.

It is an opinion. And like I said to u befor, thinking even a baby or a non igbo can not have an opinion (or even advice) shows ur level of foolry and proves my point. Take it or leave it. But so long as it nairaland everybody is free to air their opinion.
Take your useless opinion to your ethnic group not Igbos. When you outperform Igbos in all sectors of the economy, then come back for your opinion and your advise.

PoliticsRe: Senator Annie Okonkwo Dumps APC For Not Having Good Intentions For South-East by Chamack: 11:26am On Jul 01, 2014
bootstrap: 1. I dnt care much about abuses, its part of the fun here. So long as you dnt just stop at say i am being stupid or silly or foolish but back it up with points. I am ready to entertain it, and i dish same out. If i crave more decent converse, i knw where to find that #no.offence.taken - non.expected

2. Yes, like i said frm my first post, i am not Igbo and might truly not understand their challenges in the east, but that doesn't in anyway negate the fact that i can and shld make my observations, have an opinion and freely air same.

3. Truth be told, i dnt expect them to take my advice, I dnt even expect shit frm no one (rubbish or otherwise). My friend, life is short, what is said on this forum might never be read by more than 200k pple, so it generally doesn't mean much. I didn't go to the east to give them advice, but on nairaland, i say it like i feel it..... wrong or right, i love the augments and insults that follow, i love the knowledge gained. Thats all i do here!!
In my first response to you, I said that I don't abuse people online and offline, you are the first person that I have abused for saying ill against my people. So since you know that your advise is not needed why giving it? Can you focus on your people now and leave Igbos alone? The day you will give us advise is the day your people has outdone the Igbos educationally, economically and otherwise.
PoliticsRe: Senator Annie Okonkwo Dumps APC For Not Having Good Intentions For South-East by Chamack: 10:29am On Jul 01, 2014
bootstrap: Now, this is someone i respect.... *duff my hat sir....... valid points you have raised.

But in all the instances you mentioned Ndi Igbo chose a single side and they always got burnt. So this is what i am proposing....

1) Ndi Igbo shld be first and for most, Igbos and a strongly united one, Party affiliations come second place. They fight in public but shld go back to the east and strategize

2). Ndi Igbo shld have strong representation in all the political parties.. ALL..... so they can benefit either way the wind blows.

3) The strong igbo caucus in each party will help when the other regions in the party wants to f**k them over.

Now... you made the same mistake you guys have been making for a long time in ur 6th point tho..
" APC will not win the next presidential elections, so these permutations are meaningless."

NO PERMUTATIONS ARE MEANINGLESS MY FRIEND!! ALL PERMUTATIONS ARE VALID UNTIL PROVEN OTHERWISE TO
A CERTAINTY.

I repeat, Ndi Igbo shld have strongholds in both PDP and APC, even if not currently interested in the presidency, at least be the strong force that you guys deserve to be in this nation.
You seem to be through with your abusive words? You are not Igbo and you don't seem to know the challenges that we are facing more than the Igbos? Leave the Igbos we have benefited more supporting Goodluck than what we have benefited since Nigeria-Biafra war ended. All this your epistle is rubbish because best advise comes from within not outside.

Ikenga nri: guy don't take these mud house dwellers serious. I have discovered some things about them.

1)all of them are from lagos.
2)most if not all of them have igbo mothers.
3)all their guys have igbo girl friends.
4)all their youth corpers served in the south east .
Finally, don't take them serious, they are pathetic liars. That guy may have no igbo mother after all.
Lol

bootstrap: Funny thing tho... if u are a definition of the igbo man that is economically, educationally and otherwise better, then i choose to remain f**lish rather than bee like you.

Like you implied, if Ndi Igbo are so satisfied, why do there still participate in politics at the centre? They shld be satisfied with their economical and educational "progress" and go to sleep. Yet they begging that its their turn next to be president. I have said what i said, i dnt expect you to agree with my premise or conclusion.... i actually dnt expect you to understand.

Ps: i am ignoring ur insults on purpose..... wink , you knw why?..... I do not find a need to validate myself to you. wink

If you can and want to fault what i said, pray you do so......
You very foolish to say to abuse Ndi Igbo, there are better ways of saying your opinion/ counsel other than insulting Ndi Igbo. Let me ask you these groups of nigeria that are ruling, why are their people not better than Ndi Igbo who haven't held power since 48 years ago?
PoliticsRe: Senator Annie Okonkwo Dumps APC For Not Having Good Intentions For South-East by Chamack: 9:12am On Jul 01, 2014
bootstrap: first of.... let me say i respect all Igbos and what they represent. ( I am actually Igbo frm my mothers side).

But Igbos can be silly, greedy and unnecessarily myopic a times. Which explains why we might not have an Igbo president anytime in the nearest future. Igbos must learn to be more strategic. No one is going to hand them the presidency. Y'all have to fight for it. Only way to do that is to be more strategic. An igbo man was amongst the founding fathers of PDP, but today they more like strangers in that party. They foolishly formed APGA, and made it a regional party. No regional party can ever win a presidential election in this country.

Criminal as Tinubu cld be, he is a good strategist and knows that ACN cld never be a party at the centre so long as they are a regional party, hence their merger with CPC.

Hypothetically, If APC wins the presidency 2015 or 2019, which strong Igbo man is in that party. That means the beginning of another long era of no presidency for the Igbo.

Common sense shld have told the Igbos that they need a very strong representation in the newly formed party, Just incase the party becomes a force to recon with. Even if it means "sacrificing" some strong PDP or APGA members. Its all about strategising and learning to be at the right place at the right time. The foolish Igbos are busy insulting the new party, without knowing what the future holds. You can always give it to the SW, they know how to adapt well and get what they want.

Do not alienate urselves frm any new movement, have some strong representation there, If it fails, y'all still have ur guys back and if it succeeds, you guys get to gain. But never never never align only with one party and hope to be handed the presidency at ur time. Y'all will just keep being f**ked over.
I don't abuse people but I will abuse for saying that a population of over 30 million people and the forerunners of Nigeria are foolish. I would say that the woman that agreed to marry your dad is the most foolish person on earth to have agreed to marry him and also to produce a useless and a slowpoke like you. What has being president of nigeria done to Awusa-Fulani that has held power for 38 yrs? What has being president 12yrs done to Yorubas? What has Goodluck being president done to Nigerdelta? Are these group of people better than Igbos economically, educationally and otherwise? You the foolish son/daughter of a foolish parents. Next time u think before you foolishly abuse Ndi Igbo.

PoliticsRe: Politics In Nigeria: Why Reform Is So Hard In Ekiti State By The Economist by Chamack: 9:01am On Jun 28, 2014
emiye: And what made you feel at the instance of a reform, everyone will start smiling ? Teachers who barely come to class to teach students or teachers who can not achieve minimum credit in wassce for subjects they teach students CAN NOT smile at a governor who calls for an assessment test in a bid to understand the rootcause ofpersistent failure of students in external exams even after school infrastructure upgrade Reforms come with initial pain for a greater gain. I agree with you that the reform should have been a gradual process, and i alluded to that fact in my write up,especially in a very conservative state like Ekiti state.

The victory of Fayose was a protest vote against the governor, it was a victory for status quo.
I appreciate your write up at the end. shalom
