I've not tried it but I'm sure it's possible especially with Cleva coz I read one of their articles on how to do connect PayPal to Cleva
Yeah, I also saw the article on how to connect it. But I was only hoping to read personal reviews from individuals who have actually used it.

Fiverr first take $3, then Payoneer proceeds to take a whopping 4%, then Geegpay takes their little cut too. Those small cuts eventually add up at the end of the day.

Hello everyone! Has anyone tried to use PayPal to receive money from Fiverr and then connect to Paga or Cleva? payoneer's rate seems too high to me.

Yes. Applicants from related science and agricultural backgrounds (such as those in fisheries, aquaculture, environmental science, or agriculture) are frequently accepted into graduate programs in agricultural economics at Canadian universities, particularly if they can show that they have the necessary academic background or are willing to take prerequisite courses.
Thank you for your response. I've combed through the websites of several schools that offer graduate admission for Agricultural Economics courses. While I took most of the prerequisite courses, there is one particular course that keeps showing up on all the schools I've checked.

I have a good result which I believe could help me to secure funding to some extent. But my fear is that some schools list on their website that you will have to take a "Qualifying Year Program" rather than taking "prerequisite courses".

One of them even stated in their handbook that "Qualifying graduate students are not eligible for major scholarships or fellowships, ..."

This is why I asked the question whether there is anyone here who switched from FISHERIES to AGRICULTURAL ECONOMICS, because that's what I really want to go for.

It is in line with you first degree.

But we have to ask if you have any work experience?

Your proposed program should be consistent with you work if you have upto 3 years of experience.
Thank you for your response. I had not had any formal or full-time employment since I left school. Although I've always engaged with different small farms to help them breed and expand their facility.

I work fully as a freelancer to pay my bills, but I've done part-time farm jobs since 2019 because I enjoyed doing them.

Do you think that will count as something during my applications?

The goal is to be fully prepared for next year since most schools have already closed applications for this year.

By the way, I've started reading this "part 23" from the first page to avoid asking questions that have been asked several times.

Good day everyone. I appreciate the good work you're doing on this thread. Please I have a quick question and I'll be glad if anyone has an answer for me.

I graduated with a 2.1 in Fisheries and Aquaculture, but I'm looking to do my masters in Agricultural Economics in Canada. Is this a possible transition? Do you know anyone that has done it before? I've searched on LinkedIn but I've not found any yet. Thank you all.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Help! I'm Having Issues With My Prepaid Metre (Photo) by champeeon(m): 2:11pm On Oct 16, 2025
Brahamimo:
Hello Nairalanders,

I'm really frustrated, tired and confused about the whole issue.

The prepaid metre in my apartment is misbehaving seriously. This is a new metre that was bought three years ago when the house was built by the landlord. We are just four occupants. One of the apartments has a room and parlor, while the other Three apartments are just a room self-con each.

We've being recharging the metre since all this while, but last week, I recharged and token was not sent to me. I still recharged again to confirm if it was network issues, but same thing happened. No Token was Received by me. The response I got was our metre is owing. How come?
How is our metre owing?

The kind of Prepaid Metre we have isn't the one you recharge on. There's a device like a calculator/POS terminal that uses battery. That's what we use whenever we want to recharge. The battery part of it isn't even working, we have to plug it to the socket before we can ON it and dial the token to recharge. The challenge is that, if we allow the whole units in the metre to completely run out or get exhausted and the light goes off, we will have to go to our neighbors' houses to plug it and recharge, and we must not go too far from our apartment, if not, it wouldn't work.

How do we resolve this issue because the units there would soon be exhausted completely
OP, I had the same issues last week and this was how I solved it. Go to this website and input your meter number; https://infocheck.abujaelectricity.com/

It will show you the amount of debt AEDC claimed you owe under "balance."

You can also go to any of their nearest office and they will check for you with their system. Once you recharge any amount above the said debt, you will get a token.

PropertiesRe: Affordable And Secured Areas To Live In Kubwa, Abuja? by champeeon(op): 12:08pm On Oct 11, 2025
YoshihideSuga:
OP,

How do you do? Were you able to get a place? And if I may ask, why specifically Kubwa?
Hi, I'm doing well. I picked Kubwa because of affordability. Unfortunately, even Kubwa is gradually becoming as expensive as places in town.

To get a decent (livable and comfortable) one-bedroom now, you will need nothing less than 1 million in most parts. Some can even go as high as 1.5-2 million is estates.

They are OK. I have lived in both places in the past. They have armed security guards for protection at night. Where there are security concerns are usually the isolated vincinities close to the mountain side.
Thanks once again. I will add them to my list.

Arab Road, Chikakore,Some parts of pipeline and Byazhin are all on Band A. The problem is the Kudi. Quite difficult to get something cheap nowadays.
The prices something else. Thank you for your suggestions. However, two of the places you mentioned seemed to always make the news for insecurity. Byazhin and Chikakore.
PropertiesAffordable And Secured Areas To Live In Kubwa, Abuja? by champeeon(op): 7:15pm On Feb 25, 2025
Hello everyone, I'm looking to move to Kubwa, Abuja, next month as the area I concurrently stay in is no longer safe. There have been a couple of robbery attacks this year and more attempts are being made weekly.

I need a place where my family and I can feel secure and not have sleepless nights because we're not sure of what is coming.

By the way, I'm a freelancer and mainly work from home. So in addition to security, I'm looking for a place with an adequate supply of power.

Arab Road seems to meet these conditions but the prices of houses there right now are on the high side. The cheapest one-bedroom apartment is going for 1.2 million Naira and I don't want to spend more than 800k-1M on accommodation right now.

Is there a place in Kubwa that is still safe with a good power supply where one can get accommodation for less than a million?

I look forward to reading your responses. Thank you!

I have been facing the same thing with this user since May. I think I will follow the advice above and do a chargeback if Bukkiexchange01 doesn't reach out and give me a specific date when I will receive my funds.

Are you sure you didn't input the wrong digits?
I am 100% sure I inputted the right digits. This is the second time it has happened to me.

The first time, one of their staff came to my house and I had to pay money. He only inputted some codes that he didn't allow me to see.

Good evening everyone, I just bought unit for meter but it won't recharge. I've attached the picture of the error it's displaying.

The last time this happened, AEDC had to send one of their staff to my apartment to fix it. The guy inputted multiple codes before it worked. It's night already and tomorrow is already weekend, so I can't wait for AEDC.

I will appreciate if anyone knows what I should do. Thank you!
