Do I need to remind you that Ghanaian criminals have to the nerves to rob the house of the then Nigerian vice president —Alex ekwueme.
Do I remind you that no migrant group in human history has attempted such aside Ghanaians.
Do I remind you that your country is the only country in the world where a serving parliamentarian was arrested, jailed for drug trafficking.
Do I need to remind you that you president gave his in law, RAYMOND AMAKWA diplomatic passport to trafficking drug .
Do I need to remind that the vip lounge of your airport was used to traffic drug.
Name any country in Africa that have perpetrated heinous crimes of these magnitude.

Even before the 80s, your nigerian grandfather had been labouring away on cocoa farms in Ghana long ago. Did he tell you?

What do you think it would take to have a destabilised Nigeria? You think Nigeria is a small country that can be easily grounded by such issues it's currently facing?

In 2016, Nigeria had recession and 100% fall of the naira, were you also afraid then? 😂😀

In 2013/2014, Bokoharam/Iswap were dominant in a landmass almost the size of Belgium within Nigeria. Nigeria was fighting such a war within yet growing at 6% with single digit inflation. No destabilisation.

So it's more complex than you assume.

Ok... lets hope for the best.

Lol... you guys do not waist a second to pull the "size card" in any discussions. This is not about size my bro. Far more bigger and wealthier nations than nigeria have descended into anarchy. Trust me... it is never my intention to denigrate nigeria because of its issues, I will never do that. But tell me, when in the history of nigeria has the extreme forms of insecurity, youth umemployment, high cost of living, kidnapping, banditory, highway robbery, high inflation, looting all occurring at the same time. In the past all these issues occur one after the other and they existed in lesser magnitude conpared to now. You can correct me if I am wrong. I just pray our (Ghana and Nigeria) leaders are guided to make the best decisions that serve the interest of the ordinary man. Peace

Like even in Church matters, Ghanaians still drag Nigerians for winning souls to Christ. How na?

Individual Ghanaians; whether pastor, a doctor, or whoever will always have an opinion on any topic. You as an individual nigerian have your own opinion about Ghana or any vountry for that matter. There are lots of videos I have seen where both ordinary and prominent nigerians including youtubers express their opinions about Ghana, both good and bad. Because one ordinary Ghanaian pastor-whom I doubt will even make it to top 100 Ghanaians pastors- has shared his opinion; you are here making a big deal out of it. If they don't bring in hard drugs in Nigeria, they're stealing our crude oil.
Nigeria should deport all Ghanaians in Nigeria after no Ghanaian is adding anything meaningful to our economy.
Shoe shine Ghanaians are economical scavengers

Come on man.. Your country is currently undergoing a serious economic meltdown, coupled with massive youth unemployment, insecurity, no electricity, theft and rampant looting of goods. Whilst Ghanaians are fervently praying it doesn't degenerate into something beyong our control, this is what you could write about Ghana. And for one to think you are typing this hate speech towards Ghanaians from your comfortable residence in Ghana is so bizzare. Any way keep it up. I never expected anything better from you people.

Ghanaians simply do not have the financial capability to erect skyscrapers. Stop the lies against innocent Ama. Had it been what you are saying is true, trust me,Accra would have been filled with high-rise like Dakar since they can't go higher to skyscrapers level. You all would have maximised your peak heights to build a well levelled city of about 10stories competing with each other for space but no we see bungalows, and abandon low rise everywhere.

Is it building permits that makes all these low rise uncompleted since ages?

So there are no abandoned high rises in lagos or even anywhere in nigeria.... I never knew that.

The thing is this, you can not come from Nigeria 🇳🇬 and get wowed by anything you see in Ghana tbh. This is coming from an akwapim man.

The only thing that can catch a Nigerian's attention in Ghana is the share number of single dwelling homes. If they were strategically placed and arranged in an otherly manner without been mismatched with slums, containers, kiosks, lottoshop, and uncompleted buildings here and there, maybe the wow factor wouldn't have been missing even without skyscrapers and high-rise.

If you think kwahu, east legon, cantonment got mansions, wait till you come to Nigeria 🇳🇬 i will be your tour guide. I won't take you to Lagos and Abuja before you see jaw dropping houses. I have seen the best of both countries, Ghana should take several seats behind.

I can't wait ooo my bro. The mismatch between kiosks, slums, container shops and those uncompleted buildings in Ghana irritates me to death. I can't wait to visit Nigeria. The way your other fellow citizens talk with utmost arrogance and ignorance about what they know little or nothing about here, warrant the denigration from other posters. I wish they had something to show for this arrogance.

That aside,Tudu to lagos is barely 800ghc,you can make the trip and experience Nigeria 🇳🇬. It might not be the best in times of basic social amenities, like adequate pipe born water and 24/7 electricity supply but trust me,in terms of physical infrastructure, there is so much to see.

But before you make the trip try and ask your mum about Kano in comparison to Tamale and see her response grin

@bolded.
Exactly how Ghanaians also see Nigerians. We feel you guys are boastful and too arrogant with very little to show for. I interact with a lot of Nigerians physically on a daily basis, and I have seen majority of them exhibit this attitude. Anyway as youth, I think we should learn to accept one another both the good and the bad.

@2nd bolded. I will most likely go by air. Of course, she has told me a lot about nigeria, some nice and some not so pleasant.

It will not be fair to compare kano to tamale. Kano is an ancient city. Tamale became a capital just few years before our independence....so.

Another evidence of how Ghanaians are obsessed with Nigeria 🇳🇬 whiles Nigerians simply just do their thing.

You got this one wrong, that facebook account- TimBia Gh is not actually a Ghanaian, he is a Nigeria national promoting his page, he most likely lives in Ghana but is a Nigeria.

You see why you don't take anything at face value especially on the internet. All these things add to you hating on a country and its people for no real reason. With time it will grow into some sort of a monster, and then later confirmation bias sets in where you begin to meet certain Ghanaians whose attitude confirms whatever notion you already have about Ghanaians and Ghana. I can't wait to visit Nigeria some day. As I speak my mom is in Kano doing business. She buys from Ghana and sell in Kano and buys from Kano and lagos and sell in Ghana.

My only visit to nigeria happened when I was like 7 years old. My uncle used to live in lagos. I have lost most of my memories of my short stay in lagos. But one thing I will never forget is party lol. It was like every day we were going to one party or the other in lagos 😂😂. Even when I came back I was still crying- party!! party!! when I was being prepared for school 😂😂.

May be I'll have to experience nigeria (lagos, kano, abuja, ph, etc) again to be able to pass a fair judgement.

Then again its not right to denegrate an entire nation like Ghana, I am not sure its you I quoted the last time, but if its you kindly retract, its not right.

I posted that not to boost about beauty but to cure that slowpoke called vankelvin's ignorance who thinks Nothern Nigeria is as dejected as that of his own.

Also, you have to understand that this resort has not received any attention from both the government and private sector in a long while because of the insecurity in Jos but still maintains this decency, means it is worth posting. You can imagine if the same attention given to jirapa resort were given to this, how beautiful it would have turned out to be.

Lastly, i don't fight the "bloody Ghanaians" as you presume. i only cure the ignorance of Ghanaians who see Nigeria 🇳🇬 through the prism of what they see in the media or they feel in their head.

Fare enough... a quick question. Is the Rayfield resort privately owned or government owned? The one in Jirapa is privately owned.

Nice one. What do you think about freedom Jacob caesar, as our leader?

I honestly don't know when he made that decision to contest for the presidency, but I think he should have taken certain steps that could have given him that credibility he needed to earn the support of the people mostly importantly the youth.

He made quite a few mistakes-such as
-taking a foreigner (a Belgian slay queen) as his spokesperson is a no no for most Ghanaians.
-not been very open and straight forward about his source of wealth (today it is this, tomorrow it is that),
- not coming down to the level of the ordinary Ghanaian( too flashy),
-his dressing is too extravagant for the average Ghanaian politician,
-his "saviour" mentality is also not going to help him,
-no clear communication about his core policies and what he can do; Ghanaians have outgown that style of policy communication where you just come and say "I will provide more jobs or "I will build more schools", especially when you have no track record of doing so as a politician. He should rather be providing practical steps as to how he is going to go about building more schools without, for example over spending the budget.
-he doesnt seem to have a real understanding of Ghana's problems and the practical steps he will taken to lead us out of it.
-his "man-behind-the-mask" strategy is dead on arrival.
-Correct me if I am wrong but his real estates are expensively priced in dollars (the same problem that got us where we are) another red flag.

All the aforementioned in my opinion are going to affect his ability to pull that much needed momentum to make any meaningful imoact in the election.

As to how he will perform when given the nod, I will just for the benefit of the doubt assume he will do well.

The points you're raising are exactly reasons why Accra, Ghana should be doing wayyyyy better than we're currently doing. You don't agree? Because the ADVANTAGES we enjoy as a country are ENORMOUS.

There's no BRT system in Ghana. We couldn't implement it. It requires creating dedicated roads on both sides of existing roads for ONLY BRT buses to ply to reduce traffic etc. we couldn't do it. We did trotro with the BRT buses, made losses because they're big and stop too often so people reverted to using the old smaller faster trotros and most of the BRT buses we imported are rotting away

I can raise several points but it'd only prolong my comment. Sometimes I say give Ghana to even Nigerians and see how they'd turn it around. If we were a serious country we should be exporting electricity to Nigeria by now.

That you and a lot of Ghanaians are 'content' with our mediocre performance is why we're where we are, when we can EASILY achieve more and become the eldorado we wish to be.

Ivory coast suffered 2 civil wars, 2000 plus people died etc BUT they still held on to their number 1 cocoa producer tag. If it were us?... 'small' bawku conflict we can't solve, now the factions have resorted to shooting innocent passengers in bawku bound buses. imagine we had a boko haram? I could go on and on. There's a lot of nothingness/bareness/lack of leadership in our spaces, so don't act as if we're making anuly significant progress. With the ADVANTAGES we enjoy as a country, we should be doing wayyyy better.

Go and see cocoa Produce Buying Company PBC, it's bankrupt and it's assets are being seized. Aden? We can't manage anything?

And this 'mediocre' mindset reflects in even our black stars. See how other countries are 'killing' themselves to do exploits for their countries .But black stars would be lethargic, play as if there's nothing at stake etc. we'd be a goal up or down, Richard ofori would be so slow to start the game, wo dwene ho a wontease

Etc etc. 'poorer' Senegal, go and look at the wonderful things they're doing. Doing BRT, running ELECTRIC train, building a new city etc. Whoever is running their space is visionary, and you can see it in their doings.

Etc etc

Tell them... the days of suffering, while we put up a smiling face as if nothing is wrong is long gone. If they tell you the rot at GFA, cocobod, tor etc you will think saaa you will not understand. We dont have a brt system, no need pretending. The metro mass transit we run doesn't even have a terminal. Buses are bought, they work for few year, they break down due to lack of maintenance, we leave them to rot and buy a new one and repeat the cycle.

My friend in the fire service basketball team went to togo, to play a match and he was amazed by the basketball facilities there. That Togo oo, just here noor. Look if we dont wake up and demand accountability from these leaders we wont get anywhere. I know most of the countries here have ten times our problems, but if they refuse to talk about theirs and decide to talk about ours, that's their problem, let them continue. Their story is not our story. Lets focus on ourselves and discuss solution that can change the lot of our motherland. Ideas ideas ideas are the seeds of any great endeavour. For all you know our leaders are short of ideas and you might not know who will be reading these in the near future...
