digits234: Sorry to hear about your refusal. I'm treading lightly, so I'm not misunderstood.
Depending on the DLI, tuition amount, perceived lifestyle (SOP), the VO may at his/her discretion, consider if available funds (Liquid) would cover the ENTIRE cost of study.
Now question is, would 15m cover it? Yes it would… 2years studies and 1st year deposit has been paid na… what I submitted with their rate is about 40k CAD. |

Thomsyne: I believe you know properties are not the only things they check their boxes for - on surface value. All these can be managed remotely sef.
They also check if you stated how what you intend studying will be beneficial in your home country; The job prospects of your intended course in your home country.
But as you rightly said, only the notes will give a clearer explanation. If you see my SOP, you will see how i addressed all these. Being a director in my company and my course “Criminology” is to further studies on same Job i currently hold a position as the “Security Director” and will be one of the heads upon return. Everything was written and addressed with documents to back it up from the Admins office. My dear, i can only say i did my best. The only thing i didn’t do was to attach my head and DNA |

Predator188: Sometimes VO will attach marital status to it.. I’ve seen a denial based on no assets… Because he used wife and kids as ties. One can never tell. VO will just work on peoples application based on his own family problems… LMAO!! If i go a second time… it’s still same things i will use plus maybe i will use my blood na and sign affidavit of return and also use the blood to notarize it. Because even my Job waiting for me when I return didnt convince them. |

I applied for a France visa, All i said was I'm just going for sight seeing, no detailed itinerary and I got the Visa and a friend applied from Nigeria with all documents and went beyond and still got denied(money is not a problem is this case). I guess Nigeria happened to him. I'm really curious to know in ur gcms note what the VO will say cos clearly, you doing well for yourself. If money is not a problem, You can look into Portugal D Visa or buy one of these Caribbean countries' citizenship and enjoy your trip arround the world.
I wish you all the best Thanks a lot. I think Nigeria has enough bad image so everything about us will be scrutinized.. Imagine having to proof that someone is your mother |

Not IRCC… If it were Nigerians now… i will say they attach everything to marriage et all… But a Country like Canada is different. I’ve not refusal based on the person is married now or unmarried. |

@bepositive, Relax.. it’s early. Read my response and take the one that is for you and leave the rest. I addressed it and said why won’t i want to come back.. Was it you that said i wasn’t coming back? So chill… I dont know where all this aggression is coming from. Lmao! If you didn’t ask me, I won’t even have responded to others. So chill, i even went ahead to ask if you can see what i meant too but you just flipped. It’s well… and tieng my refusal to my attitude and blaming me… Wow! That is the worst thing to say to someone on this journey and i hope you don’t get refused because i won’t want you to feel same way you made me feel now and i may just have to dig out this your response on that day of your refusal. |

bepositive11: I am honestly disgusted by your attitude. Go and read my comment again and see whether it warranted such a disgusting response. Is it because of your bank balance and properties that you have such an ugly attitude?
Do you think having the properties and bank balance you have is enough to convince the visa officer that you will return and that you're eligible for a study permit? FYI, your POF can be a double edged sword. And there are many other factors that they consider.
I'm sure you wrote your SOP and sponsorship letter with that same attitude. Keep feeling entitled. Nonsense! Wait oh! Kindly point out the part of my response you don’t like because I don’t understand you at all… but hence forth, there won’t be need responding to you so please don’t ask…I explained to you and even pointed out that Canada isn’t haven so I don’t see why VO will say that but maybe you felt i was referring to you. Reason it’s good to read to understand… You didn’t refuse my application so relax neither are a VO… so don’t take their bullet. I answered you and everything you saw as being rude wasn’t for you Ma. But them, i won’t respond to you again. And stop picking on bank balance and property.. it’s not supposed to intimidate anyone.. remember you asked and I answered. Read well please and what sponsorship letter is that? Was I supposed to write a sponsorship letter when my application was self sponsored? |

oluayebenz: People were asking you to show your refusal note but seems you are just trying to shift the goal post by avoiding the quote by all cost.
Is it a big deal to you by sharing the reason for your visa refusal? People were asking me that has been offline to show what? Hello Sir, incase you don’t know.. i am 2 pagea behind so i am reading and responding. So don’t push me this early morning.. i use God beg you. And you can’t force me to post what you want. Coming back here to say i was refused is enough… So many people get refused and lowkey keep it to themselves and we all know they give generic reasons. I cannot post an official document… it’s MINE not ours. You can go ahead and call it fake refusal… i will even like it. So you are welcome to wait for my notes. Since the refusal, I’ve been busy with other things like i said. I just saw Bepositive’s message and responded now so don’t press my neck and claim i am ignoring people… I can as well go off and not attend to any questions here after all i am not been compelled to. So you saying i am trying to avoid this and that… avoid it and why exactly? Will anyone beat me if i say NO? Don’t speak to me in such manner again |

Yes it was perfect to my eyes, I don’t know about others… if I haven’t spoken about it, it’s because i need to see my notes because i can’t place my fingers on anything and i am not even ready to start thinking about it. |

bepositive11: Before losing morale, you people need to examine her application to know what went wrong. She still hasn't told us what the reasons for rejection were, so we can't conclude anything from the refusal. Yes I haven’t said anything because I don’t know the reasons yet and I can’t rely on their generic reasons that they drop for everyone not until my notes are out. But if you insist then the reason is they don’t believe i will return after studies.. Does that make sense to you? With my property papers… 3 different properties i used as home ties and the 4th property being the house i presently live in. Houses and shops on rent. My application was self sponsored. My POF had a closing balance of 15M, no lump sums.. Properties worth over 180M.. etc. So if you were the VO, what issues would you have with this application? Why would i want to abandon everything i have in my home country and remain in Canada? If a property was sold to raise POF! They can say.. i would also sell the other properties and remain in Canada… Is Canada heaven. Feel free to tell me the reason for my refusal… i am waiting. I also attached all the deed and survey plan papers to my application. So you see why i said i am not relying on the reason they stated? Because people that used just family as hometies get approval. So I can’t place my fingers because they didn’t mention home ties or financial status… so what then? |

Uchenation: NO My Bro/Sis rather speak positively in your life and it will happen as you’ve said it GOD listens to our silent prayers. You don’t need to be discouraged because you both have different destinies, Grace and different plans from the most high. Visa approval from my experience is not about face, name or financial status (most times). I’ll advise we pray fervently and leave the rest for God. You don’t know weather God is prepping her for USA or next best available options. I understand she’s a nice person, been helpful et all but we all are destined for different types of greatness (at God’s appointed time) so do not be discouraged please. Myself I was to resume October 03 but am yet to apply. On Sunday I asked her if she applied in April and she said yes O, seeing her timeframe since then I was scared that ah then what will be my case when I’m yet to apply (TIME FRAME). So I just pray and allow God to do His work.
I still know and believe that God is prepping her for a more greater miracle, @charitojames that’s my prayer for you because I know your strong, resilient and full of positive vibes God is working on your testimony.
@Oluwapelumeedah let me now burst your bubbles; I’m from Cameroon, my experience with travel especially USA and Europe most often I’ve seen cases of rich people I mean rich people get rejected, while an average person will just get approved even on first attempt (in most cases). Another one is travel history I can categorically say that 95% of my friends abroad traveled on their first attempts with zero travel history so you see? Same thing with American DV lottery I have many friends who were no body’s (IQ and Financial wise) during primary, secondary even uni days but played DV lottery with just 1000 XAF Frs (~N990 currently) but God blessed they won and today most of them are already citizens and doing very well. So in essence GRACE no get age mate, Ei no Savi Poor or Rich man, ei no even send your face it just works for the GOOD of those who love and trust GOD.
I’ll finally say that we just need to speak good things upon ourselves and lives, pray fervently and trust the Lord, he will always answer when we cry to him. Good luck to all those expecting their PPRs, for those that got refused I encourage you to reapply if you can or try other options there is always a silver lining at the end. As for myself who is yet to apply, I just know He will do it for me and us all. It will end in praises therefore more PPRs incoming today and this week. Love et light FAM ❤️ You are absolutely correct. Amen to your prayers and wishes… Funny enough, the kind of happiness in me in this past 2days since my refusal is unexplainable. I can’t explain how someone will be happy when something happened the other way round not as expected… I don’t even act like something happened. When i read people say they are depressed because of refusal this and that, I really can’t relate… because the Joy in me right now is above any level of depression… it feels like a heavy load was taken away from me. Did i tell you i now sleep well? 10pm-6am… I’ve never slept this good before. If i am not up praying till 2am, i will be thinking of IRCC or refreshing mails or googling stuffs about SP application or on NL. For the past 1year it’s been this particular thing. As in, i just started breathing now.. Since i was a child, i have never struggled to get anything before, i just relax and it comes to me, this is the 1st time.. Is it the prayers? Gosh!!! I have never prayed this much in my life.. Visa prayers started even before i applied…Intense prayers oh and fasting even before my LOA came… So did i do my best? Absolutely… no one can do more than i did.. Because more means to just kill yourself. So even God is aware of the current situation and if he is comfortable with it, who am i? I’ve seen people who don’t even believe in God get their Visas like it’s nothing. People who don’t even acknowledge that prayers can do anything get their Visas… So why won’t i be over joyed? Of course i won’t apply again, make i rest… this is 1 year and a month journey that just ended.. i need a vacation even if na Ireland or UK, let me go and cool my head for a month. It’s not easy. When i come back from Vacation… Ehen! We go begin strategize again… for now, Daughter of Zion is looking for man to fall in love abeg… i need genuine love, self love self don tire me |
