I trade a systematic approach, yes. There are conditions when not met that I do not execute. Example is GU for this month.

I have not taken a trade this month on my account not because there are no setups but because there are no high probability setups in line with the conditions to be met before execution.

This is my trading system. I'm sure many other persons here have made profit this month from their own setups after having met their own conditions. So you see, subjective.

At the end of the month, I will reference my GU and Eurcad call from last month and why I didn't take any of the trades.

High probability? What criterion makes a high and low probability trade?

Those setups you know after spending much time on the charts have a high chance of playing out. Those types that tempt you to want to go full margin on them because you know it is more likely to be a success than a failure.

The criteria for a high probability trade with my strategy is not likely to be the same for you, it is completely subjective.

I understand his point, though.

He says winrate is dependent on your strategy not on random trades. Therefore, if your strategy boasts of a 20% winrate and you go ahead to take just any trade whether or not it is subject to your strategy, it affects the outcomes significantly either positively or negatively.

And yes, there is a high probability trade.

On the same page chief..One of my fav pattern on Daily Tf. Inverted H&S with a weak RS. I ll be interested in buying from that weak Rs. If market doesn't get to that entry I ll instant buy for a 1:1RR....I must stay disciplined this time arround and won't cut my loss until its stoploss neither TP until its TP. That my biggest challenge now, not being patient when in profit but always patient when runnning negative. New week, New me!!!!

IMO, a weak CAD and a weak USD makes Usdcad unappealing.
