Eedris Abdulkareem had granted a couple of interviews in which he claimed he made Timaya and nurtured him to be the star he is now. But the self-acclaimed Egberipapa 1 of Bayelsa wasn’t smiling at all when Saturday Beats asked him to react to Eedris’ claim. He thundered, “When I was with Eedris Abdulkareem, did he give me due recognition? Eedris did not make me who I am today. I was the one that went to meet Eedris in his house. He never treated me well. I would stay at the front of his gate from morning till night and he would send somebody to tell me to come back after a week. When I returned the following week, he would not see me. I used my money to pay to attend his shows even though I was his band member. I was not celebrated. The only money Eedris paid me in his life was N1, 000 and it was after we had the Kuramo Beach show. That was nothing compared to the money I had been spending on transport. I was not bothered because I wanted a platform and I was learning. Like I always tell people, whatever you want in life, you just need to make sacrifice. Even if they feed you poop, you are not going to eat it forever. I gained a lot from that experience. It was through him that I met Sound Sultan and a lot of people. Eedris and I don’t do the same kind of music, so he does not influence me musically. I have never been in a studio where he was recording before and he never gave me that opportunity, so how did I learn anything from him,” he queried. Timaya however admitted that he learnt one or two things from Eedris which helped him in life. “One major thing I learnt from him was his stage performance. He is a lion when he is on stage, he is a super performer and I give that to him. I learnt that from him. For me to have admitted that I was his back-up singer was my way of giving him due recognition because he did not see me in that light. I could have said I was never with him but because I respect him, I opened up. There is no way I am going to write my story without putting his name. He is still my boss. If I am in a show and I see him, I would prostrate for him. “ It was so bad that he did not even know my name then, he referred to me as Bayelsa boy. If he was going for a show outside Lagos, nobody would tell me. I would eventually know and use my money to transport myself there. I would call his boys and they would tell me the hotel they were lodging and I would take a bike to meet them. In his whole crew, who is better now? I was eager to make it,” he said. http://9javibes.com/interviews/timaya-fires-back-at-eedris-abdulkareem-you-did-not-make-me-and-never-treated-me-well/

We all know Caitlyn Jenner had a facial feminization surgery ..But the 65-year-old’s new face came with a heavy price tag, one estimated to be in the realm of $70,000. Plastic surgeon Dr David Alessi who is based in Los Angeles, performs nearly a dozen similar surgeries each year, which softens certain characteristically male features and adding a few feminine touches. Alessi told Page six of the Nwe York Times that he believes Bruce underwent six procedures to get Caitlyn’s face. Among the surgeries he claims that the former decathlete underwent Rhinoplasty, which runs anywhere between $9k to $15k.Then a facial rejuvenation surgery that often costs in the neighbourhood of $25,000 Alessi also think that Caitlyn has had a brow lift (around $12k), cheek implants ($6K-$8K), Adam’s apple shave ($6K-$10K), and Botox ($800). The total amount the surgeon estimates the cost of all the procedures is around $70,000. In addition, most patients who undergo similar procedures get yearly touch ups and tweaks, to maintain their appearance – and Alessi thinks Caitlyn will be no different. He also believes that Caitlyn will want other procedures down the road, including liposuction to have a more hourglass shape. http://9javibes.com/foreign-gist/it-took-caitlyn-jenner-6-surgeries-and-70k-to-get-new-look-surgeon/ cc @lalasticlala

The Kardashian and Jenner children have all been supportive of their Dad’s transition into a woman. However, sources close to the family revealed that all Caitlyn’s children are still coming to terms with their parent’s decision to make a full gender transition. The source said Caitlyn is trying to make things as easy as possible for the children including Kendall and Kylie as well as the Kardashians Kim, Khloe, Kourtney and Robert and older Jenner children Cassandra, Burt, Brandon and Brody. ‘Caitlyn spoke to each of the kids separately and told them to take their time in getting used to this. ‘She would prefer not to be called ”Bruce,” but told the kids that they could still call her ”Dad,” at least for now. ‘Caitlyn has been really understanding that it doesn’t come naturally for anyone. No one expects this change to happen overnight. If one of the boys slips up, it’s not a big deal. People Magazine

How is posting official cars causing chaos in a country and must they be in expensive cars to secure you, tell me how they have secured the country especially the NE part of the country for the past 4years even with their expensive cars. The bottom line is, they all don't deserve those cars, if they are given keke or bike so be it, what's important is them doing their job properly and stop parading themselves in luxury cars for nothing sake. Thank God all command base had been moved to Maiduguri, they should go enjoy themselves there. Rubbish, take your bitterness away from here. |

A CORPSE bride shocked her wedding guests when she made a dramatic entrance inside a coffin. Jenny Buckleff, 58, said she “wanted to do something a little bit different” when she turned up at the alter. And when she got married to 51-year-old Christopher Lockett she managed to do just that.Jenny, who works for sport betting site BET365, lay in the closed coffin as she was pulled to the Llangefni registry office in Anglesey, Wales, by a motorcycle. She wanted to make the special entrance in honour of her brother – a motorcycle enthusiast. Jenny said: “I almost didn’t tell Chris but in the end I spilled the beans about three weeks before. “He was a bit surprised but he said as long as I was happy he would go with the flow. “What more could I ask for from a new husband?” Jenny’s daughter Jade, 27, wasn’t too phased by her mum’s choice of transport. She said: “The coffin was a bit strange, but my mum is never normal.”I thought she was joking at first. http://9javibes.com/foreign-gist/photoswoman-turns-up-to-her-wedding-in-a-coffin/

Hours after Caitlyn Jenner shaded the Kardashians by eclipsing Kim Kardashian’s big pregnancy news with her big reveal, chiq has come out swinging in her first major interview, telling Vanity Fair that her ex-wife Kris Jenner “mistreated” and “controlled” her throughout their marriage! At the time of the couple’s divorce in 2014, Kris insisted they were parting as friends, but Caitlyn told Vanity Fair in her new cover interview: “The first 15 years I felt she needed me more because I was the breadwinner. Then really around the show, when that hit and she was running the whole show and getting credit for it and she had her own money, she didn’t need me as much from that standpoint.… I think in a lot of ways she became less tolerant of me. A lot of times she wasn’t very nice. People would see how I got mistreated. She controlled the money, all that kind of stuff.” Kris, who did not appear in The Interview with Diane Sawyer, still feels like she doesn’t understand her ex-husband’s transition. Kris fired back in the interview: “”Why would you want to be married and have kids if this is what you wanted since you were a little boy? Why would you not explain this all to me? He was married to me and he wasn’t who he wanted to be so he was miserable. All I was doing was working very hard for my family so that we could all have a wonderful future, and he was pissed off. At the end of my relationship with Bruce he definitely had a lot of social anxiety. … That was one of the reasons we were in a struggle at the end.” And when Caitlyn went public with her transformation, Kris said she was stunned: “It was like the most passive-aggressive thing I think I ever experienced.” Still, Caitlyn says that any focus on her gender issues as the reason for the split is misguided, and that most of it was Kris’ fault. She insists: “Twenty percent was gender and 80 percent was the way I was treated.”
