The Art of Spiritual Warfare Part 1.



Warfare is a fight. It is a battle between one person against another... Or a group of persons against another.



When we pray warfare, terrible things happen in the unseen realm. By terrible, I mean "extremely powerful". And they happen not at a latter time, but as we pray at that same time.


But to fight an enemy and overcome him, a person must know how to fight. A person must be equipped with the right weapons of warfare and know how to use these weapons.


The standard weapon of warfare is the "Sword" which is the Word of God.



We know about putting on the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, the belt of truth, the shield of faith and the shod for the feet, in Ephesians 6:14.


But i'm not going to touch these aspects for now. The Sword is an attacking weapon while the rest are more like defensive weapons against the kingdom of darkness.



Going forward...

To fight, the first thing you must have is "CONFIDENCE".


When Satan or demons come to attack a believer, they transmit an energy of fear to that person, to weaken them.



I remember having nightmares at childhood. Someone would be chasing me and I would run but won't be able to run fast. And when I approach a door, it would be locked and I would try so hard to open it. The enemy would be drawing in on me and would try to grab me. I would then wake up panting and sweating.



That fear made me afraid of the dark in the natural and made me unable to stay alone in any place. And that's just one way the enemy transmits this fear on a person. Other ways could be that he makes a person believe that they would never amount to anything in life, or they would be barren for life or they would never have a job etc.



Fear weakens faith and makes a person blind to truth, then makes that person think less of themselves and think less of God. While confidence in God builds faith and frightens the devil and his minions.



Before Goliath ever fought anyone, I bet he always put fear in his opponents to weaken their spirit. He tried it with David, but was not successful.

Instead, David reminded him that he was trying to fight against the God of the armies of Israel... Etc. We all know how that went down. Goliath's head was off his body few minutes later.




Before an army engages in war with an enemy, the soldiers are always motivated by their commander to be bold and have no fear of the enemy. They go into the fight full of courage because if they went in fear, they would be done for.

This is the same way a child of God must be confident. Because when demons come to attack, they come transmitting fear. Victims of "sleep paralysis" always feel so scared when they happen to be in such a situation. And that's because that person can feel the negative energy and power of that demon or whosoever that is attacking them.



The only way fear truly dies is by understanding who you are... Knowing who you truly are.




The first time a demon came at me like physically, I was in great fear. I didn't know what to do exactly. I kept screaming "Jesus"! But it kept coming back to me. Then I heard the Holy Spirit speak to me and say "This is not the time to shout Jesus but the time to exercise your authority"....etc.
That story is on the first page of this thread.

I didn't really understand what the Holy Spirit meant by "Exercising your authority", but I just obeyed Him, said what He said I should say.. and the demon was dealt with.



Now.. we need to understand that we have authority. It's not that we have "faith" that we have authority. But We have authority as real as we have eyes, a nose and mouth.


This should make us think hard about who we truly are.


And when we ask ourselves this.. Where does our authority come from? The answer would be, "From God". Then it ought to come to our understanding that we are indeed Sons & Daughters of God.



Sometimes when I hold my child in my hands, I make funny noises with my mouth and blow wind with my mouth. She'll laugh and try to imitate what I do. It so amuses her that she looks at me in a way that says "My Dad is incredibly powerful". I laugh and tell her "Don't worry you'll be able to do the same thing when you're grown up like daddy.


Just because some of us cannot do some things now does not mean we actually cannot do it at all. It simply means we have not grown into that level of spirituality.
We have the authority because we are born of God.. but might not know how to use it yet.



Jesus Christ said "I give you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and there is nothing they can do about it"

This is true..

It simply means that we have the authority and power over Satan, his demons, his witches and wizards and whatever being named or unnamed in this world and out of this world.

When you truly understand this, this is what kills the fear.


If I were stranded in the middle of a large forest and was attacked by a strange animal I would run and it would keep chasing me relentlessly.
But if I come to a realization that I am actually 70 times stronger than that animal, I would stop running, turn back and attack that animal. It's either the animal flees or it decides to fight. And no doubt, I would kill it because I am of higher authority and power.


Just as the prodigal son remembered that he was actually the son of a powerful man and he was above his father's servants
We should realize our place/position in the kingdom of God. Luke 15:11-32, Ephesians 2:6



The key here is coming to a realization. Having an understanding of who we truly are.



People pray warfare prayers almost everyday. Many understand their authority in God. But what some don't understand is that effective warfare is like "Creative Combat".

It's like dancing to a song, you flow with the music easily and naturally as you tune into the worship and the presence of the Lord.

When you pray combat prayers, the secret lies in the "Words"....The Sword of God (the Holy Ghost). For how you use the Words is how you use the Sword.



Have you ever watched those karate movies where you see a swords master teaching his student how to use the sword?



In training, the master would always beat his student in a sword fight.
But as time goes on, the student might become better than his master and beat him afterwards because he has become incredibly skilful with the sword.



The student has become creative with the sword. He knows that when he points the sword upward with a quick slash, it would bend in the direction he wants. He has become one with the sword. He has become more natural with it than his master.



To be highly effective in warfare prayers, a person must become one with the Sword (the Word of God).
You must understand how to use God's word by speaking It to life.


2 Timothy 2:15 says:

Study to show thyself approved, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly DIVIDING the Word of Truth.


To rightly divide the word of truth is to understand God's Word and be skilful when speaking His Word. The Sword.



You must be in rhythm with the Sword. Know how it bends and what should be said and when it should be said. It's like dancing drunk, but being carried by the Holy Ghost (drunk in the Holy Ghost). Ephesians 5:18.

Because even if I have an understanding of the Sword (the Word of God), and I use my authority (as God's son) to bring things to life, I can only do this by the help of the Holy Ghost in me. It is the Holy Ghost that possesses me to fight effectively. It is the Holy Ghost that's always waiting for the Words to be pronounced so that He can move in the direction of the spoken Word of God.



It is the Spirit of God (The Holy Ghost) that goes forth to accomplish the spoken Word of God.


In Isaiah 55:11, God speaks saying

"As the rain and snow fall from heaven and do not return without watering and flourishing the earth, so is my Word that I speak. It will not return to me empty but must do what I have commanded".



In my training(s) with the Lord, I have come to an understanding that when you fight warfare, you should not fight aimlessly. There is always a target of focus. It's either a place, a being, or a thing (or a combination of all). Just like a Noun is: (name of a person, animal, place or thing).



Person - a witch or wizard, or owner(s) or coven of witchcraft.



Animal - demons and the host of darkness working against a person.


Place - places where the bondage is (family lineage, career, marriage etc.) And where they started from.

( the Lord could show you a revelation of what happened to you in a place, maybe a river, or any place where the bondage was initiated).


Things - weapons of darkness (yokes, curses, bewitchment, voodoo etc.).


By revelation, the Lord could reveal something specific that might could be a tree in your family compound that needs to be cut down. Or something buried somewhere etc.




1. [color=#000000]For effective spiritual warfare, when you fight, call the name of whomsoever is revealed to you as a witch or wizard that is working against you. If you know their names, don't just say "i destroy witchcraft in my family" etc.

Call their names![/color]



2. If the name of a demon is revealed to you, perfect, (because the demon is as good as finished), call it's name and fight it. If the name is not given, you can use their function names like praying
"Demon of misfortune sent against me, I bind you in Jesus Name" etc.



3. It's always good to throw some firebombs in the camps of the enemy.. so target their abode.
There are three main abodes which are Land (mainly territorial spirits), air (mainly fallen angels), and water (marine spirits). These three work together.

Pray against them using the "Blood of Jesus"!

Also mention the places where the bondage might be; whether in the family (call family name), or marriage (call you and your spouse's full name) etc.



And if the Lord has revealed something to you, don't take it for granted. The Lord will speak through dreams. Some of such dreams are prayer guides that expose to you what you must pray to destroy that bondage in your life.



Remember, In every spoken Word of God, the Holy Ghost is the One to go forth to accomplish it. Genesis 1:2-3.

And there is one secret about Him. He is very brutal in warfare. The intensity of your spoken Words, is a reflection of how much heat/fire the enemy receives.
Holy anger is necessary for warfare prayers. To fight effectively, you must first be angry with the enemy. And be angry at how you have been affected by the enemy.



This is just Part 1 of "The Art of Spiritual Warfare". There are other weapons of warfare such as the Blood of Jesus, the Fire of the Holy Ghost etc.


Part 2 will come up this coming week by the grace of God, where we dig deeper into spiritual warfare and speak on the other weapon(s) such as the Blood of Jesus.
God will strip naked the kingdom of darkness in this very thread. And there is nothing the enemy can do about it.

Don’t worry about their evil deeds, it shows the thread is filled with the power of the Spirit of God. So many have been delivered from the bondage of Satan. Let God handle this situation in his own terms.
Our Heavenly Father, Creator of the Heavens and the Earth, the King of kings & the Lord of lords, shall pour out the wrath of his anger on those who have refused to turn away from their evil ways when the time comes.

Remember, the parable Jesus told his disciples about a man who sowed good seeds in his field.
The enemy sowed weeds among the wheat while men slept. When the servants of the man observed that the wheat and weeds grew together, they ran to him and asked where the weeds came from. The man told his servants that the enemy planted it. The servants asked the man for permission to pull up the weeds. But the man replied them saying “No, because when you pull up the weeds, you might also pull up the wheat. Let the weeds and the wheat grow together until the harvest time. At the harvest time I will tell the workers this: First, gather the weeds and tie them together to be burned. Then gather the wheat and bring it to my barn.”(Matthew‬ ‭13:29-30‬). Let them continue in their sins until their cup is full. You have warned them enough. God is love and merciful but he is also a God of war & justice.

It is my desire for these agents of darkness to repent and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord before it is too late. Satan has stolen the word of God from their hearts and caused them to become channels of darkness. Some of them are afraid of renouncing their covenant with the witchcraft spirits for fear of being killed and they forget that the power of the blood of Jesus Christ can save them. Their false gods have limited them before they will be thrown into the lake of fire. These agents of darkness fail to realise that demons hate them with passion. When a witch dies, the evil spirits flee in search of another human. Witches are just puppets in the hands of demons. Take a look at the lies they have been told by demons to make them feel like gods. Same lies Eve was told in the garden of Eden. “But the snake said to the woman, “You will not die. God knows that if you eat the fruit from that tree you will learn about good and evil, and then you will be like God!”(Genesis‬ ‭3:4-5‬).

Hell is real and full of filth, darkness, fear and torment for eternity. Nothing unclean shall enter into the gates of Heaven. He who has ears to hear, let him hear.

So they create covenants with the ancestors, that they will be worshipped in the lands. The ancestors pass the tradition down to their generations.. Then you'll begin to see villages holding festivals, where masquerades dance.



The masquerade(s) is actually the demon spirit, who we usually call an "ancestral spirit".


If a person participates in such festivals, it simply means they agree to the covenant with such spirit or demon(s).


And if a person is Born-again or comes from a Christian home, the spirit would still come to fight that person, even unknown to that person. There would be problems here and there and the person wouldn't know what's behind that problem.



If a person's father participated in such festivals in anyway, that spirit automatically comes to the children... Because the covenant is between the spirit and a person... And a person's generation. A.k.a Descendants.

The ancestral spirit always comes with a claim. It is always claiming something.. that a person belongs to them because of the covenant it had with their forefathers.

To defeat this spirit, a person must understand the working power of the blood of Jesus.. and must use the blood of Jesus Christ effectively to abolish that claim.



The same way demons look for covenants through a third party by way of SEX. A person who inhabits a demon(s) would sleep with another and transfer those demons into them.
Because sex is a very strong covenant, it opens up a door immediately for other demons to come in.


And that person's life won't remain the same again, unless they go for a deliverance session.

The Word of God is true and just.
It doesn't matter how much God's Word is shunned, it will still remain.

It doesn't matter how much the Word is hated. God's Word cannot be loved by all.


In the end, every man/woman will stand in judgement to give account of themselves.

All the worldly pleasure and excitement will quickly melt away when a person stands before God.


There will be gnashing of teeth for them who hate God. And as they rejected His Word, so has God rejected them.

This particular devil you are dealing with right now has a sadistic streak that makes her incredibly resilient and devoid of certain emotions such as shame.

She also suffers from a personality disorder I really can't deduce from afar. It makes her crave loads of attention from people and will do anything to get it. She is happiest when all the attention is on her. As long as she has it, you can't hurt her.

please I have lost the presence of God I no longer feel him when I sing or worship in the time past whenever I sing his presence comes down like a dew but I have lost everything how do I restore it back

Trace your footsteps back to where you fell from.
What was the cause of the downfall? You don't need to say it. But capture it in your heart, lift it up to God and ask Him for mercy.


Ask Him to take away the guilt and shame. Know that when you sincerely repent before Him, He will forgive.
Have faith that you have been forgiven.


Sin no more and live your life to please Him, and not 'you' anymore.. That is "commitment", and the Holy Spirit will then help you.

I lost my mother two weeks ago (she died). I was there during the crisis, and my siblings too. We prayed for mercy, for healing, but she died anyway. I was broken, i've never hurt as bad as i do now. My mother was the spiritual pillar of the family, the prayer warrior, she was God fearing, she was a good woman. My questions to God would be; Why did you take her? Why now? But who are my to question him. right now I feel pain, I don't know how to pray anymore or study the scriptures. I just stay here all day a melancholy and despondent, thinking about how cruel and wicked life has been.

May your mom rest peacefully in the bosom of the Lord. Without saying too many words... I can understand your pain to some degree. And only God can heal that wound you feel within you now. Give it time and you will heal.

And please try not to think too much about your mother, so that you don't start seeing her in your dreams.

In the end, God knows best. To some of us, death might seem to be an end. But it is actually a continuation of life. A translation to eternity. It is well with you because the Lord is with you.

Do you know what it means to be born of God? To be seated with Jesus above principalities and powers?
Do you know that the very nature of God indwells you?


I've learnt something deep from God and it is amazingly shocking.


Everyone must know God for themselves and understand their true identity.
Being made in the likeness of God is power. Being Sons/Daughters of God is authority.


God made a complete fool of satan even before the foundations of the world were established.


Search God deeper. Get to know Him better. Get closer to Him and you'll be amazed about how much you thought you knew Him. You'll be amazed at how the scriptures become more revealing to you. What you always looked at but never really saw or understood, you will then understand.


And you'll be amazed how satan will flee from you.

When people were speculating he was operating from a demonic spirit, i argued stating his good works, charity and preaching. But later, the Spirit revealed to me i was wrong and opened my eyes and ears to see he is operating under the spirit of divination.

Now the points is as follows
1. For the first time in your life you fell under anointing watching TB Joshua and was delivered from the spirit of masturbation even at your own place not even at SCOAN.

2. Are you still walking in the light of your deliverance or have you revert back to masturbating? (only you know the answer to this question)

Point 1. You testified by yourselves that you fell under anointing (light) while watching TB Joshua and was delivered from spirit of masturbation which is darkness. Now ask yourself how can the anointing that delivered you from darkness (masturbation) be a spirit of divination.

The spirit of divination(darkness) according to Act 16:16 is a contrary spirit which Paul by the Spirit of God (light) commanded out of the slave girl.

The spirit of divination (darkness) cannot command the spirit of masturbation (darkness) out because darkness can not be able to command darkness out. Matthew 12:25 & 26,, Mark 3:24 and Luke 11:17&18. (except Bible is no longer your standard). So if truly you received deliverance from the spirit of masturbation while watching Senior Prophet TB Joshua and fell under anointing then know that it is by the Holy Spirit that you are set free (deliverance) and therefore this confirms that TBJ is an instrument in the hand of the Holy Spirit, so then he is a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. (This is the truth).

Now this lead me to the next question which says are you still under the clutches of masturbating spirit? (Only you knows the truth to this question). If the answer is in the affirmative, then don't you think that the powers of darkness of the department of masturbation is angry that you've been set free from them and deviced means to get you back to masturbating (to loose your deliverance) by devising means to get you to doubt the Anointed Man of God God used to set you free so that they can keep on keeping you bound?(so that you loose your deliverance!! [consider this my dear]

Now concerning Senior Prophet TB Joshua. He did not know me personally, we have never meet one on one. But I have watched him many years a ago and the Lord said "behold my servant which which carries the "hope that is living".
But the Spirit of the Lord is with him and the Holy One of Isreal has chosen him to be a light to those in darkness, a delivererer to those oppressed by Satan's and demons, a succour to the poor and a helper to those whom God will use him to help.(though he's a man, he's not perfect just like every other Christians)

Prophet TB Joshua God bless you and keep you, May His countenance continue to shine on you and may Emmanuel TV be potentize to it's maximum spiritual frequency to deliver and set the captive free in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen

I would love to point out that i have learnt a lot from charles and the way he responds to people. Outside of the word of GOD, your response to your fellow man matters to God. Being of good conduct matters to God.
