But that was never the reality.

Before Tinubu, Lagos IGR was 600 million per month. However, public sector bill was 800 million per month.

What does the figure tell you?

That despite the industries, the headquarters of many businesses (foreign and local) being in Lagos, the state was dependent on Federal allocation. A big shame. This is what I describe as fiscal insanity. A problem all of the other states are still battling till this day.

The article I shared with you showed how Tinubu made reforms to the tax administration system.

After 8 years of Tinubu, Lagos was already financially independent.

Tinubu brought fiscal sanity to Lagos state.

Even Kogi State University VC is also a female, and she's performing well. Infrastructural development here and there, accreditation of courses and many more. Kudos!

A VC is the academic and administrative head of a university. If academic activities have stopped, the VCs job doesn't stop. Its like praising the VC for working when students are on holiday

On the issue of patriotism. If there is any politician that is self centered, it is Tinubu. Anything that would not favour his political family, he will never do it. Countless instances abound.

All you wrote are theory. You successfully stated the qualities that great leaders are supposed to have but you failed woefully in telling us how Tinubu possesses these qualities.

You say an eagle doesn't eat dead meat. But isn't it the same Tinubu who crawled to bayelsa to pay homage to Jonathan, the same Jonathan he insulted and called incompetent since 2015?

How did Tinubu groom leaders? Up till now, no one has been able to answer that question.

When Dangote refinery starts, the Government will let him set the price of refining crude oil and make profit, instead of them setting their own price.

Do you know why telecommunication became successful today? It is because when Obj allowed their presence in Nigeria, he allowed them to set their own price and they made enough profits. When they first came, sim cards were selling as high as N50k. Tarrifs were very high. So the network providers then made enough profit and till today they're still here. The only one that failed was the one owned by Nigerian Government (NITEL) which was subsided. NITEL couldn't make enough money to keep itself afloat and hence it fell. Same thing that happened to the Nigerian refineries.
All the gains the refineries made went into subsidizing fuel for Nigerians and money meant for keeping it afloat wasn't there anymore.
Do you know that because Nigerian Government subsidize petrol for us, some corrupt Nigerians are smuggling Nigerian cheap fuel to Ghana and Niger to sell at higher price over there and make enough profit for
themselves?

So if Dangote is allowed to set his own price to make enough profits, he would be able to keep his refinery afloat as long as crude oil is being sold on Earth.

The Government have been unable to stop subsidy cos Nigeria has no working refinery and stopping it will almost have no advantage cos FG will still be exporting crude over seas and importing refined fuel back.

But with Dangote's refinery onboard, FG can fully stop subsidy and Dangote refinery will do the refining of crude.
FG saves money that would have gone to subsidzing fuel and also the cost of transporting crude to and from overseas will be gone.
