My sisters, its not the key type, if not i'd have just removed it.. My hubby planned to para for them tonight, but as soon as he came in, the guy and his elder brother whom he lives with quickly came in to our apartment to apologize. It seems the elder bro isn't even aware of his bro behaviour cos he goes out to work early leaving his bro at home..and like you both said this may not be the first time.

Problem is the landlord specifically built a generator house, and thats really the only convenient place & environmentally safe place to put the gen. We cannot be carrying the gen inside everyday too cos its a big gen. I hope he never tries it again, if not next time i might just do what MoyosBlog123 and hunnisuzie is capable of..cut off his wire into pieces..

Why didn't the Dr do membrane sweep for you?
Since mom is a nurse, you could ask her to do for you.
It helped me during my first delivery. I was a day late to EDD so the Dr did the membrane sweep on Thursday (ANC day) and I fell into labour on Sunday and gave birth 1am Monday morning to a baby of 4.5kg through VD.
Yes you can do it.
Be positive and keep praying to God.
Good news we shall hear.

Rant Time!
I was at the hospital today and scan was saying I'm 41 weeks already!
I have since been working with my LMP and earliest scan for accuracy, and I still have like 2 weeks by that...
But scan recorded post date for me today

Plus, my baby is on the big side Baby is said to be measuring 4.1kg
And no imminent sign of labour yet

The head is fully engaged, in fact, doc had to press down on my hoohaa to locate baby's head.
How do I make labor start biko?!! This pikin is just there chopping up, despite all my weight control measures

I'm not tired of the pregnancy o, just scared of the increasing weight. Wetin I go do ooo?!

Cappo, you know scan can lie atimes. Your baby may not be as big as that eventually. Don't worry, labor will soon start. Try exercises and dancing, it might work too.

@curvilicious, hmmmmm cheating has never been with a happy ending. I feel for the wife and children. My condolence to the family.

@graciamore, don't stress yourself about bump. Those nurse women should know better than to talk rubbish like that. How can they say your baby is not growing well because of bump size? Some people are have big bump and birt small babies, some have small bumps and birth big babies. You even said your first pregnancy bump came out late. So please relax. Scan has shown that everything is fine. As for the traverse issue, baby still has time to turn.

This hero and rocket matter, God will judge o. I know people are wicked but this is just terrible. @zqynie, you have always been smart, Tuale mama!

At the delivery table
The fetal monitor was strapped again and was so discomforting. As its been strapped, I would loosening it to feel comfortable. Each time I did this, the nurse would return to tighten again..lolz. Then she tried to check how far I had gone, but I found it difficult again. In my head I was like, you people are wicked faa trying to check me for dilation while contracting was the highest form of wickedness…lotflmao.
She couldn’t again and she told me categorically that I would be taken to the theatre for delivery. Immediately, I rejected it telling her I would have a normal delivery. Not that CS is a bad idea but I would probably need to break a bank to have that option. While on the table, I would gist with the nurse asking them to either carry my leg or massage it etc. At a point, I held one of the Nurses’ trousers firmly to relieve contraction, then I would pull my hair(natural hair gang tinz) for relief (thank God the Hairdresser babe no show up, I for don loss the hair at the delivery table).
While I was gisting with the nurses trying to know what was happening to me and my baby at every point my pastor’s wife was wishing I would just stop talking to save my strength when it was time to push. I was checked again and the nurse told me I wasn’t cooperating at all and I shouldn’t blame them if anything happened to the baby. I responded I was returning home with my baby alive. DH was called to get me some thing to drink and I opted for water. I drank some water and few minutes later, I saw the nurses(English speakers and native speakers) packing there baggages and I felt they had given up on me. I called them and asked what was happening and I heard the greatness news ever “we can see the head of your baby and we are going to bring in the delivery things”. I was super excited that the wait was over. I spoke to my Lo told her she need to cooperate at this point and to receive the strength to come forth. She replied me “mum, I am trying”…Lolz funny, right?. But I heard her.
I was quickly tutored on how to push and to the glory of God My Joy arrived weighing 3.0kg with some tears at about 1am officially (Hospital report) but my husband recorded 12:53am was when he heard her cry. Going by DH timing, I delivered on 11:53pm Nigerian time on sept 25 and September 26 at 12:53am (Rwandan time).

What a touching and detailed BS. GOD bless you and your baby.

Guys I need help. I went to the hospital two days ago to complain of lower pelvic pain that I had been experiencing for the past two weeks. The thing was looking like round ligament pain or braxton hicks because the nature of the pain was:
1. It was worse if I exerted myself or did exercise like walking.

2. It usually came on sharply if I attempted to turn from one side of my body to another but it will stop if I am lying still.

3. It was majorly one sided, affecting only the right side of my lower pelvis.

So when I asked the doctor what could be the problem he said its likely to be preterm labour and he prescribed SALBUTAMOL and PARACETAMOL. Me on my part I don't want to take the drugs yet because I don't think it is preterm labour cos labour pains is constant even when resting and it affects the entire womb and even the back. I don't want to take drugs that will prolong my pregnancy just cos of wrong diagnosis.

So what do you mums think? Is it likely to be labour pains? I am 24wks pregnant by the way.

My dear, take your drugs. Your journey still far small. U still have about 16 more weeks to go. I think your doctor is right. And nothing will be prolong your pregnancy. Your baby will come when he/she is ready, but if your baby comes earlier, you won't like it. Your doctor has years of experience and doesn't necessarily need a scan before he can diagnose you. Besides, those drugs are in order, Paracetamol is a painkiller and for Salbutamol, see the picture I attached. Don't worry dear, you and your baby will be fine. Also, you need lots of bedrest, don't be on your feet too long and suppose your bump woth a pillow while sleeping. It is well with you.
