UmmTwins2:No wahala sis. I understand. Your baby is cute for days! Please rest well abeg, CS no be beans at all. I will also buzz you later. Swift recovery to you. |
@Iamajoyfulmother, the Bible says that (s)he that watereth shall be watered also. As you have made yourself a blessing in the lives of these women, God will raise up helpers for your sake in all your life endeavors. You will never lack blessings in any way. You will be a joyful mother of children because you carry nations in your womb. God bless you tremendously. Amen. @legendsmother, I love your bubbly spirit. Keep it up! Greetings to all the mamas in the house. |
UmmTwins2:Hurray! Finally our princess is here. And you were anticipating this all along. Congrats ma. May she be a source of joy and gladness to you all. Amen. |
LaDivva:You are in order. Pls take your medicine. The malaria drug is administered twice in four weeks interval. Then you are good to go. I was given in my 20th and 24th week too along with my TT injection. After this one, you won't be given again, except if you fall ill with malaria. It's a preventive dosage. Congrats YACAA. God bless your LO. You have given Arihodo a birthday mate. |
Naomi14: ![]() Happy Birthday Arihodo. You will continue to grow in grace and flourish. Long life and prosperity! |
ifyalways:Thanks ma'am. |
hunniesuzie:Lmao. Savage! ![]() |
Livez:You posted this before. 3 mamas or more even asked you for price but you refused to tell us the price. How many seconds will it take to write price? Now you are here again. You don't have time to reply mention but you have time to post again ![]() |
vannessa7:Oh my! He is quite big! Congrats to your sis once again. |
ahnie:Pele mama zino. Please rest oh biko. We don't want you to be sick. Your girl Zino is really a handful, chai. Lol. And she is so smart beyond her age. She really needs that decorum you want to instill in her with your isoko eyes, so that this her plenty energy will be channeled positively. I trust you sha. Take care of yourself. |
ebubenwaozo:Team November is not silent o. We have been active and cappo Anugod even did a roll call on the 1st of September. Seems you have been the silent one and so it seems to you that everyone else is silent. Try to be more frequent, Peep in more often, welcome new mamas, congratulate mamas who have offloaded etc. It mustn't be everyday, just as often as you can ![]() |
Fine fine bumps everywhere yesterday. May God keep us all and we'll carry our babies as we have carried our bumps. Amen. @RoseeyO, welcome once again. This one will stay and you will carry to term in Jesus Name. Amen. @flyingangel, don't worry. You will conceive again and smile again. it is well with you sis. @peggygee, congrats to you. God bless your LO. @prestigiouslady, welcome to the fold, supply your EDD and your team will locate you soonest. The brownish spot might be old blood finding its way out or implantation bleeding. It should reduce and stop 8f it isn't more serious than this. I spotted in my early first trimester too. You need to rest, as in really rest and take things easy. Your body is no longer the same, it's going through a new phase entirely. So reduce your work load, leave house chores, enjoy your bed and put your feet up, rest very well, eat well too so you won't be weak and go to the hospital as soon as you can. You will carry to term. Amen. For the breasts, it's part of the package o. It will get better as you progress. @booqee, I don't really have experience with the saliva ish. Just hang in there. One day at a time. You will be fine. Pele. I read your diary and I really feel like for you. My Dh is not around now too and I know how lonely it gets atimes. As one mama suggested, just try to keep yourself busy with favorite hobbies. It is well with you |
curvilicious:I don't know if it has another name o. I only know it as uda. People who sell outside usually mix it in their spices and our mothers use if for omugwo. But you can prepare your pepper soup without it and still enjoy it wella or if you have a trusted source that you can buy from, fine. When I just took in, my Gynae warned me to stay away from Pepper soup, Nkwobi prepared from sources I'm not sure of and also too much potash i. e akanwu. Funny enough, I know people who buy pepper soup outside and nothing happens to them. My dear, body differs. @peggygee, how far? Has baby landed? Hope you are holding on fine. Easy peasy delivery to you. @heavenlychy, you are welcome. Just eat right, healthy foods, fruits and vegetables. Stay away from junk. Bump has nothing to do with baby size. Some people have small bumps and yet give birth to big babies while some big bumps contain small babies. Just eat right. @mamatwiny, Naomi.14 and ebonychic.18 have answered you well. Please avoid all avoidables. |
UmmTwins2:Thank God you're better now. Please rest o. I'm fine and counting down little by little. |
flyingangel:So sorry mama. Please take heart. God will give you double for your trouble. Some unexplained circumstances happen beyond our control sometimes. It's not the scan or milk. The only culprit I can think of is the pepper soup, did you prepare it yourself or you bought it outside? Some pepper soup ingredients like Uda, Potash are not so safe in early pregnancy. They are typically used after delivery to flush out lochia postpartum, so they can be counterproductive in early pregnancy. It's better to prepare your pepper soup without uda, potash in early pregnancy. And because our bodies differ, you never can predict what will adversely affect you or baby. It affects some and may not affect others. But then Who knows? It might have still happened even without you taking it. Please cheer up mama. Mourn your baby but don't beat yourself up. Another baby will come and it will not tarry. It is well with you. |
@UmmTwins2, how are you now? Hope you are not spotting again. Please go to the hospital to get checked out just to be on the safe side. @MoyosBlog123, Congrats. God bless your LO. @angelys, you can also check out Image Diagnostics at Ilaje, Ajah B/stop. @Anugod, your mama funny o. Smart woman, see calculation, it's not easy to be a great grandma jare. Lol. |
@vannessa7, 6kg? @favouredestiny, It is well with you sis. I like your dogged spirit. I know how painful it is. Lost a pregnancy at around 11 weeks but presently preggy now. God who did it for me will do it for you soonest. Amen. @booqee, I don't think energy drink is ok. But I took glucose when intense vomiting didn't allow me eat anything. You are good to go. @mamatwiny, @sysengr, @Tinkybabe, @soonest, welcome o. You will carry to term in Jesus Name. Amen. @lady25, I think you should go to the hospital to get this checked out. Pele sis. @kelizosuy, e-hugs to you sis. It's great to see you so hopeful. Always remember You are a great mama. Do not ever think otherwise. Don't. And you know the best part, that little pumpkin kicking in your tummy loves you even more. Just keep hope alive always @goodfortun, yay! You have opened the month with BA. Congrats. May God bless your LO and bring you joy always. @proudmum38, sorry to your little boy. Wishing him fast recovery. |
Anugod:Cappo, we are fine o. Amen to all your prayers. When I did scan some time ago, scan showed XY. Though I will still cross check next week because baby was moving all over the place and the sonographer wasn't so sure. As par, stretch marks, I have on my bum but my bump is free. Pimples/rashes all over my face, chest and back. Still vomiting. I don't think I've started feeling Braxton hicks yet. But we are good. Taking it one day at a time. And I am so grateful for this pregnancy. |
Happy New Month mamas. Happy Holidays everyone. Welcome MumIbeji, mumsgirl27, prettymaxy and other new mamas. You shall carry to term. Amen. lioha, other mamas have spoken well. No need to talk to the girl again, she's not worth it at all. Watch and see hubby's reaction and approach him wisely. I see you're a strong woman. God will give you strength to overcome this and heal your marriage. For mamas experiencing heartburn, I discovered that my calcium tabs really help relieve heartburn. Mist mag stopped working for me and Gestid does well on some days and some other days doesn't. Calcium is alkaline and neutralizes existing acid in the stomach, relieving heartburn and Calcium carbonate is used as an antacid too. Milk which relieves heartburn too contains calcium. So you can try taking your calcium meds when you feel the onset of heartburn or immediately after food that trigger it. |
beyedew: babythug:Thanks sis. I tried sleeping on my left and it really helped. Dh helps me too. zaynie: Thanks Sis. I understand. Amen and Amen.@mooretes, Thanks sis. Sincerely it's not funny at all. I'll complain to my Dr when I go for Antenatal and perhaps get a splint if it worsens. Tho some tips lessened the numbness recently. Let me quickly read up pages I've missed. |
Wonderful educative thread here. These DIYs are lovely. Seriously following and saving these for the days ahead. |
Pretty cute bumps everywhere. God will keep these bumps for us till maturity. Amen. Princesskf and other mamafresh with cute babies, weldone mamas Congrats Trendytessy and all mamas that have put to bed. May God bless your babies. Amen. Mamas please come to my aid. For some days now, I noticed my palms and fingers, especially the right one, are usually numb when I wake up in the morning. It's very terrible during the day and relieves me by evening. Some days are worse, some days are better. While it lasts, my hands are almost useless. I can't grip anything, can't type, can't lift anything even a satchet of water, I basically can't use my palms and fingers without wincing. Getting out of bed this morning was a battle, the numbness was crazy. I didn't know it was Carpal tunnel syndrome until I Googled it this afternoon. Mamas who have gone through this Carpal Tunnel stuff, please how did you manage this? Of all the pregnancy symptoms I have experienced, this is the worst, it is very terrible. Mamas abeg, put mouth for this matter. |
Pweetiebabe:Hmmmmm, 41 days mat leave with no pay? Not encouraging at all. So all the time you'll spend at home, no shishi will enter your pocket. It's almost as if you're unemployed already, because you'll only earn income for at most 2 months and then no more income till whenever you resume with them again. The working conditions are not favorable IMHO. Cool and convenient for the school, not cool for you the employee at all. My dear, just follow your heart. You already seem at home with resigning. You can use this time to structure and stabilize the biz before baby comes. However be ready to make sacrifices and patch up on the home front financially until business hits the ground running. If you can get someone to assist you, that'll be good. @ElmaSpeed, lmao. See collection of cords o ![]() |
Pweetiebabe:It's a tough call. The fact that you are spending close to half of the pay on transport is not really encouraging but then, the change will really go a long way to buy a few things for baby. If you can hold out a little until you go for maternity leave, at least, have a little cash at hand. Then you resign and get something else after baby comes, except if you have something else doing. |
@Shadeadu, welcome to the pregnancy thread. A level of stomach cramp is normal but it shouldn't ache you so terribly. And some first trimester symptoms can mimic malaria, are you really sure it's malaria. Pls do not self medicate. I suggest you get checked out by your doctor to be really sure. It's well with you sis. |
@katchycouture, lovely bs. Congrats once again. Kisses to our pink baby. @legendsmother, what a cute chubby boy you have there. He is adorable. He will continue to grow from strength to strength. Amen. @phlakkeys, you are special to us all. And you really are a lovely woman, it hurts that you had to go through that. God's total healing on you. Amen. Baby dust to you sis. @kaffy4bill, wow, welcome back mama. We have really missed you. Hope you are doing great. Please pop in more often. |
.

and so it seems to you that everyone else is silent. Try to be more frequent, Peep in more often, welcome new mamas, congratulate mamas who have offloaded etc. It mustn't be everyday, just as often as you can
Biko, what can I use to remove them oo
