Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi who was the APC
Presidential campaign manager for the 2015 general election, says
Nigerians owe him a lot for working tirelessly as the party
campaign manager to bring them out of a corrupt government.
In a recent interview with Channels, Amaechi said Nigerians were
tired of the past government.
"Nigerians wanted change. The level of corruption was very
high so Nigerians wanted to contribute to remove that
government. I believe that Nigerians owe me a lot. When I
seat in my house, I feel that Nigerians owe me alot. First,
we saved this country from that level of corruption.

In an interview with new magazine, Schick, owned Dr Sid's wife, Simi Esiri, multiple award-winning actress Rita Dominic, 41, revealed when asked why she was still single that she could have been married a long time ago, but things didn’t work out with the person.
"I believe that God is in charge of my life and will present the right man to me at the right time,” she said.
Asked whether social pressure to settle down get to her, Rita replied,


"I am a human being and I would be lying to say that it doesn’t sometimes. More so because it’s something I sincerely want to do but the feeling passes when I remember that society will not live with the person. I will live with the man, so it is very important that I do it because I want to, not because society wants it for me.”
Speaking about sex and if it gets better with age, Rita said;
"If you ordinarily don’t enjoy it, age won’t make a difference. I find that when a woman embraces her sexuality, many Nigerians equate it to being Ashewo , as if we should act like sex is not pleasurable,”
Speaking about dating, Rita said she dates when someone special comes around but finds it generally as a nightmare
"especially in this days of social media where with one click you are all over the internet.”

Ajani Damilola narrated what sadly happened via his Facebook account. According to him, Ariyibi Ayomide, a 100 level Student of Unilag, Faculty of Business Administration - department of Employee Relations and Human Resources Management (ER & HRM), committed suicide after being disgraced by her roommates for allegedly stealing in her hostel.
"An incident happened in her room (Amina Hostel) which involved the missing of belongings (which includes make up and clothes) of another girl in d same room.
On Thursday, some of the belongings of d fellow room mate was found in Ayomide's bag ( scattered in three different bags - make up in one of of her bag, clothes in another bag and clothes in another bag making 3 of Ayomide's bag). 

"As a result the roommates disgraced Ayo and called her many names( relating to a thief) and disgraced her publicly. Ayomide called her mum and her mum came down next day( Friday) to settle d issue. The make up was valued at #2000 in which Her mum paid. After that, her mum told her to pack her bags and follow her home which she did but as she was going d room mates shouted on her and called her so many names.

"Her mum took her home and went back to work (her mum is a unilag staff). Ayomide was d only one left at home when she took sniper in the afternoon. Her mum came back in d evening and saw her child in a critical state. So she asked what happened to her; Ayomide just stretched her hand to do bottle of d sniper she took. Immediately her mum gave her palm oil( epo in yoruba) but results were not forthcoming. So she rushed her to a medical centre at ebute metta, still results were not favourable, she was then taken to Luth ( Medilag). Ayo gave up in LUTH around after 7 yesterday. REST IN PEACE AYOMIDE!!!!"

An Australian man has admitted to pouring petrol
over his daughter and setting her on fire, allegedly
because he thought she was "too beautiful".
Edward Herbert, 43, set alight his three-year-old
before pouring petrol over his seven-year-old
daughter.
His younger daughter was left with burns to 13
percent of her face and upper body and required
surgery.
Herbert had been drinking and smoking cannabis
all day, before threatening to kill his family around
midnight.
According to reports, the family's neighbour
Daniel McMillan arrived shortly after and found Mr
Herbert in the kitchen drinking beer.
Herbert then allegedly told Mr McMillan that they
were his kids so he could do whatever he wanted
and that his young daughter was too beautiful and
that is why he burnt her.
Herbert has pleaded not guilty to the charges on
grounds of insanity. He says that while some of
the elements of the alleged charges are true, he
"was not in sound mind" at the time.

After meeting his bail conditions, the leader of the Indigenous
People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, left Kuje Prison in Abuja around
5pm yesterday April 28th. He was driven home by former
Aviation minister Osita Chidoka. Nnamdi Kanu was arrested in
2015 for treason and has been in prison since then.
He was granted bail by Justice Nyako of the Federal High Court in
Abuja on Tuesday April 26th, after being told not to participate in
any rallies or be found in a crowd of more than 10 people while he
is on bail.
