A Facebook user, Dada Omotosho shared a CCTV footage showing
four men breaking into a shop at AYM Shafa filling station, Apo,
Abuja. According to him, the four guys killed two security guys
attached to the complex and also raided the complex at the early
hours of May 29th, 2017.
He wrote; "Circulate till these thieves are arrested, the 4 notorious
men killed the 2 security guards at the new AYM Shafa filling
station by shoprite Apo, Abuja yesterday 29th May 2017 and
raided the ultramodern complex during the wee hour."

The police in Abia state are currently on the trail of a six-man gang
that butchered and shot dead 48 year old Pastor Nnaemeka
Ukenye (pictured above), who is the leader of one of the popular
Pentecostal churches in Umuahia, Behold He Commeth
Pentecostal Church in Ikwuano Local Government Area of Abia
State on Saturday May 13th.
Pastor Ukenye was killed on his farmland. He had gone to feed the
birds in his poultry located at the Umuobia Housing Estate,
Umuahia, Abia State capital when his killers came out from the
bush, chased away his workers, shot him dead and then
butchered his body.
One of his workers who said he witnessed the killing, told the Sun
that the gang members had first asked Ukenye if he knew any
Ngozi who worked for him before they attacked him and killed him.
“My Oga said no and turned to us to ask if there was
anybody like that. We said no. The assailant claimed that
our oga was owing the said Ngozi salary. One of them
brought out a cutlass and hit me on the back, asking me to
disappear. Others and I ran in different directions. They
held our oga down. We heard our Oga shouting, after
which three gunshots were fired. Everywhere became quiet
thereafter. When I waited for a long time without hearing
anything, I sneaked to where they held our Oga and behold,
his butchered body was lying at the centre of the road. We
called his brothers, who came and we rushed him to the
hospital, because we noticed that he was breathing very
slowly. On getting to the hospital, he was confirmed
dead. We then took his corpse to the state CID to make
entry and they directed us to Ubakala police station, where
we made entry before taking his corpse to mortuary. The
whole scenario looked like he wanted to run before they
hewed him down, then dealt several machete blows on
him, probably, to make sure that he was dead. They came
with a black Toyota car. They were about six in number,
two came out from the bush and the other four came with
the vehicle. It happened at the back of Holy Ghost
Secondary School. They collected his phones and the
money on him.”

Police said that the woman, referred by local residents as Nairobi
'prettiest gangster', was in company of three other female
colleagues when they were robbing Kayole residents in broad
daylight.
Police confronted the four after an alert by the public, ordered
them to surrender, but the gang declined and decided to engage
the police in a gun fight. Two of the suspects were killed during the
incident while the other two escaped.
A pistol was seized at the scene of crime with six rounds of
ammunition. The bodies of the two were taken to the city mortuary
where they await identification and postmortem.
The deceased is said to be part of the gang that has terrorized the
residents of the famous estate for years. She had participated in
various robbery operations and always accompanied her
husband, who is in hiding, carrying and ferrying weapons.
For years, the lady has managed to escape from the hands of the
police, but her proverbial forty days county came to an end when
she was killed during the fierce firing battle with the police.
According to Kayole OCPD Joseph Gichangi, the gang was hard to
track but the police responded swiftly after they were alerted
through a WhatsApp group. Gichangi said that police were able to
ask for adequate reinforcement before they came head on with the
deadly gang that has killed many in Kayole and environs.
