Travel / Re: U.S. Immigration Questions: Ask A U.S. Consular Officer by Chegal(f): 9:21am On Nov 07, 2014
VisaOfficer:

These omissions aren't a big deal. If the officer asks you about past refusals, you can explain -- or you might want to mention it right away at the beginning of the interview. As long as you didn't say you were married with three kids in the non-immigrant case, before appearing before us as a never-married fiance case, it's not a problem. We only get excited when it looks like the applicant is trying to conceal derogatory information.

As for your medical record, the paperwork you receive from your panel physician counts, so by the time you see us, you'll have a medical record. smiley

Good luck!

Phew! I have been freaking out since I realized the omissions.

Thank you so much! You just made me feel lighter.

Good Morning C.O,

I've been super worried about the omissions on my DS-260. Please kindly advice me on how to make corrections.

I have been denied visitors visa, but at d time of filling out the form we thought the question meant immigration visa.

Secondly, I can't find my immunization card and I answered "yes" to having medical record.

My intention wasn't to deceive, I'm horrified to think i might be perceived as such. Will I get in trouble for this?

How can I correct this before my interview in December ? I couldn't do it online.

Thank you.

Hello, would you advice one to file an i-129 after they receive the NOA1 for i-130? Is i-129 truly obsolete? Extends the waiting time for spouses? What does priority date mean? Thanks.

duffie: I currently have kidney stone...and I'm really worried because this hosspital is not it at all. Then I reallly don't want to do surgery but it does not want to pass out. I guess the stone is big.

You should buy apple cider vinegar. The good one's usually have sediments. Mix a cap full with 150cl of water and drink throughout the day. U can do this on alternate days. U should also start drinking coconut water. Eat water melon. Stop drinking soda, don't eat things with lots of calcium. Caught down on your salt intake. Drink at least 3 liters of water each day. Good luck.

Family / Re: My Husband Is Always Running by Chegal(f): 6:40pm On Jul 11, 2013
Efemena_xy:

Stories like these make the MrBrownJays and their attitudes to pregnant women look acceptable.

@OP, why should you be having mild to heavy arguments with your spouse frequently? Sounds like you instigate them. Please explain 'heavy arguments'. Do you get violent? Throw things around? Do you have a sharp, caustic tongue that's quick to insult the hell out of the man??

You're pregnant. The least you can do is respect yourself and keep your mouth shut. Why must you have an argument with your husband? Pls don't give the excuse of being hormonal this and hormonal that! Aren't you aware of the complications that can arise from having a high bp, which can be induced from unnecessary arguments?

I'm sorry to say this, but your husband sounds like the more mature one here. Rather than entangle himself with a battle of words, he chooses to walk out of the situation till things cool down. Or what do you expect him to do? Sit down quietly while you heap insult upon insult upon his head? Do you even know what might happen if he snaps?

Or maybe, you really are one of those who has a fetish for violence and only feel loved if your husband plummets the living daylights out of you.

Sorry, but from what you've posted, I support your husband 100%. You on the other hand haven't learnt your lesson. If sitting down to discuss amicably, and keeping your mouth shut while he airs his grievances is too much for you to bear, then don't blame him the day he walks out on you for good... straight into the arms of a more accommodating missus.

Oh, and I need to ask this of you: Didn't you guys date at all before getting hitched? Didn't you study the man before tying the knot and saying "I do"?
Crime / Re: Security Man Breaks ATM, Steals N12m by Chegal(f): 7:08pm On Jun 25, 2013
Thank you. The bulk of the cash was stolen by a professional staff, perhaps with the help of the security guard. The last time I checked, u can't hack your way into the ATM vault with an axe. You need keys and combination code.

PBundles: This story sounds like it was embellished. So they first lost NGN12 MM before they decided they had problem and asked an expert?? Come on. Either this story is juiced or the Bank Manager and his Oga At the Top are daft and should also be fired. Many moons ago when I worked at a branch office in Europe in charge of administrating the ATMs, if EUR 50 was missing it was an issue, forget about NGN12MM ( EUR 50K). As of EUR 500, the matter would be be investigated by internal audit. How are we not sure this security guy is not the fall guy. If you ask me they BM and the boss may have known and ate some of the money and are letting this guy take the blame, who probably has no idea how much he stole in total.

@yeboyes, playmode, dasparrow

My brothers,
I have been reading your posts and I wholeheartedly agree with all of you. We as a people need to band together to bring about drastic change. Let's put aside tribalism and elect someone honest and patriotic. But we have to be realistic about it. It can't be just one man or woman to lead. It will have to be a group. One man can't do it all by himself; not in this country, they'd kill him just to keep their wealth. I suggest we have a group of people from each tribe to govern like the Parliament in the UK and use a PM as a figure head. Our senators should be dismissed and all state government officials replaced. They have stolen enough money from us so they will live off that. What do you guys think?

@GNwafor- Ok, I hate to burst ur bubble but why are u up here spreading lies. My sis went to the same school and a US university made her go all 4 years. An HND is not equivalent to a Bachelors, sorry. Its a only a certificate. A Bsc is equivalent to an Associates.

My jailbroken iPhone 4 crashed and won't restart. I took it to a shop and they messed it up even more. It just stays on the Apple Logo constantly. Can I revert back to the original state by updating my firmware? I was using 3G 5.1.1 ipsw. I can't seem to download it.

Thanks
